He even made a house call to pick up our computer in order to complete an in depth analysis of what was wrong. We used a big deal. Not sure what his hourly rate would have been.

Description of Work: Spent 6 hours on remote and the problem was never resolved. Ended up going to a local commputer repair shop. He only charged me for one hour but the problem was not resolved. So I paid $59.00 to be glued to my laptop for six hours.

Description of Work: I have used Joe several times and he has helped me a couple times remotely which was wonderful. Found his name on Angie's list and have used him for at least 2 years. I am always able to reach him by phone and he has always been punctual. He's the only person I would trust to fix my computer. He has always been able to resolve my computer issues.

Description of Work: He was willing to honor my coupon even though it had expired. I tried to get a relative to work with him, because the services were provided by remote connection. Which I was not aware of at time of purchase. Due to numerous seizures and hospital visits, I just was not able to use my coupons, or get someone to use them to cleanup my laptop and install additional software that I now need for my disability .

Description of Work: Cleaned my computer of viruses, malware, pop-ups etc. Installed a shell that makes Microsoft 8.0 home screen look like Microsoft 7.0 which I find much easier to use. He works remotely from AZ and started work exactly when promised. He was very patient, answered all questions and preformed as advertised.

He responded right away, did exactly what I needed done, and explained it in a way I could understand. It did take him a little bit longer so there were some extra costs, but he told this to me upfront. I was watching the whole time and I didn't feel like he was trying to extend the work at all. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: I purchased The Big Deal, $59.99 for Computer Clean-Up, Tune-Up and More. It went fine! The tune-up was over the phone and they did everything I needed. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others.

Description of Work: "Joe remotely worked on my computer for more than 2 hours. He did a lot of clean-up and gave useful tips and advice. However, my computer speed was not noticeably improved. He offered not to charge me, but I felt he had more than earned his fee. |Since then I got a new computer. On Nov. 23, 2013, Joe worked on it remotely for an hour and made many improvements "

Description of Work: Joe is that rare combo of skilled tech guy and old fashioned " customer first" businessman. He responded to my Angie's List inquiry quickly, called me, set up a time to diagnose my PC problem - then let me know it was no problem at all. I'd misunderstood my boot up problem. No charge because he only needed a few minutes to understand what happened. How many service experts say "no charge"? That's integrity!

Description of Work: called Joe on Monday received immediate response and set up appointment for Tuesday. I was having trouble getting my new monitor hooked up and issues with computer. He not only fixed computer issue he added a few touches to my computer screen that were greatly appreciated. It is such a relief to have someone that I can call and he will be able to remote into my computer and help me. Good experience, he was on time and friendly and I felt like he took time to answer any questions. Will be using him again for sure.

Description of Work: when I described the problem the technician was very helpful but explained their service was not the best approach to solving my problem and suggested alternative. He then arranged for me to get an immediate refund of the $60.00 I had paid in advance for the repair. Extremely impressive service.

Description of Work: Problem 1 LAPTOP HD crashed. Delivered laptop to repair shop and picked up 2 days later with a new, higher capacity HD and most all SW and data/pictures recovered from an unbootable HD Problem 2 House call to complete SW configuration and setup at no charge. Also looked at a couple of issues on an All-in-One omputer with wireless and blank out issues that another remote computer repair could not fix after 5 hours on the telephone. Recommended this computer be replaced. Problem 3A House call to setup new replacement Laptop transferring all the data files over. Also made the Windows 8 more user friendly. Problem 3B Corrected synchronization failures with my laptop’s 5 email accounts, contacts, and calendar with my Android telephone. Several more issues were taken care of but I do not recall what they specifically were. I had been living with many of these issues for months. What I do recall is the tremendous relief I felt when Joe finished his work for me.
