I called him and he said he was very busy. I needed my printer started back up. I had to let him know I had a coupon from Angie's List for him to become more responsive. The job did not take too much. Once the work was done, he said "I had to stop what I was doing to help you." He was being very short and snippy with me a majority of the time. I probably won't use him again.

A rare find - a computer professional who can communicate well with his clients. Very straightforward, personable guy who ran diagnostics on my computer remotely. Offered easy to follow directions to have client do prep work on their computer on the front end to not waste time during the one hour appointment. Shared advice throughout call. Recommended.

got a callback within 30 minutes using remote computer function, boot was shortened to 30 seconds, a lot of conflicts and unassocuated files were removed giving me 35% more memory. also found and removed a virus that was also really slowing down the computer. Individual was very congenial and easy to work with. also patient with me as I am unfortunately a 2 finger typer He also did a great job deleting a lot of programs that were running and I never used. .. DOs: be sure to give a lot of thought to issues you have and WRITE them downDO write this gentleman's name down, because the next time you have a problem (and you know you will) he's the guy you'll want to call

Cleaned my computer of viruses and showed me what to do to keep it clean. Also cleared up some of my computers memory glitches Spent over and hour and was working the entire time. My computer works like new! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Joe Shipley did a great job fixing my computer remotely. He was very knowlegeable and researched the problems and quickly remedied the the issues. He was very punctual and respectful of my schedule and fixed the problems within the time allotted.

Joe was wonderful and amazingly easy to work with. I have a 10 year old computer that was quite slow and had a lot of junk on it. I do not consider myself particularly computer literate and Joe went out of his way to make me feel confident and informed about what he was doing and how I could maintain the system after he finished. I actually feel like I completed a computer basics class and got an "A" on it. My computer is running much better now and I feel more secure about using it as well. Highly recommend his services.

Joe was amazing. We had several viruses on our computer. He tried to remotely fix the problem, but with no luck. Plus our computer was purchased on line from CAnada and was in French. We don't speak French so it was hard to maneuver through the steps to fix it. I dropped off my computer at Joe's home and he worded for hours trying to upgrade our Windows 7 to the English version. Although I know he worked at least 5 or more hours on our computer he only charges us 2 hours of labor and the cost of the upgrade to an English version of Windows 7. He is an honest and caring business man. I would recommend him to everyone I know. And I will.I

He was great. He was very nice. He just cleaned out the uneeded stuff in the computer. He knows his stuff.

He explained things & suggested I could install more RAM to help increase the speed. He also gave me recommendations on a new lap top. He was patient & stayed online with me for 90 min, without an addtional charge. I am happy with the results.

He got the problem taken care of on both computers. His service was effective; his response was immediate. He handled everything very professionally, with good humor & patience. The pricing was very reasonable; I consider it money very well spent. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I wasn’t very thrilled with the service that they provided. I looked on the internet and they were extremely booked. I called them and they were supposed to come out. They were doing something so they logged in on my computer and worked there. To be honest, after they were done my computer was in worst shape. They have probably been doing this for sometime but my son is also a computer geek and he had originally set up some stuff for me. It looked like they had undone everything that my son had done. They changed the passwords for my Netflix ad didn’t know how to get it on. I didn’t know what to do because my son had set it up originally. I will not use them again. They were very slow and were here for 3 hours. They told me they were going to charge me an additional $350 and I gave him my credit card. It hasn’t shown up yet but I don’t know if it was because they were supposed to charge me a certain amount or what the situation was. Maybe they got so backlogged that they haven’t charged the additional amount and maybe I will see it in the future. If I had known that they were going to charge me more than what the offer was then I wouldn’t have done that. I was very disappointed that they wanted to charge me additional because of the fact that they took so long to fix it. They did show up when they said they would. They were a little frustrated and didn’t want to be bothered. They tried to blow me away and didn’t have very good people skills.

Everything went really well. He lives in Arizona and was able to remotely fix my computer through the phone. He saved me a lot of negative experiences. He also did such a good job that a person trying to imitate microsoft that they detected a bug in my computer. He cleaned it up so well.

It was enjoyable working with Joe. My computer is so much faster now! He also gave me useful information. He was easy to work with. I will definitely use him again.

I was pleasantly surprised; he was very helpful and informative. I would use his service again my computer is working a lot better.

Joe was very easy to work with over the phone and remotely by computer. He responded to my phone calls and called me when he said he would and gave me some tips on how to maintain my computer to keep it performing at optimum speeds. Somehow during our first clean up session, my CD/DVD drive got turned off. When I called Joe back two months later, he immediately got into my computer and solved the problem at no charge. I would definately recommend Joe's services.

Joe called right on time. He was very friendly, courteous, fast & efficient. Once the work was completed, we continued to talk "off the clock" for almost another half hour. His follow-up policy is MORE than generous. He is genuinely interested in each & every one of his clients continued successful operation of our equipment. I couldn't have been more favorably impressed.

Overall, Joe was very helpful and communicated at my level of understanding (very basic). He was a good listener, helpful and efficient.

It was a real pleasure working with Joe Shipley and I would definitely use his services again. I put him on speaker phone and was able to clean my office while he did most of the work.

I called and made an appointment with Joe for a computer tune-up based on an Angies List offer/deal as my computer was SUPER slow and I didn't want to leave it with the Geek Squad. Because the company was not local, Joe called me on-time and accessed my computer remotely. He was very detailed and cleaned up a lot of garbage/malware that seemed to by slowing down my PC. It took longer and cost more than I anticipated but the end result was worth the extra time and money because my computer functions the way it should and boots up in record time. Joe also sent me some additional information for keeping my PC clean and instructions for some additional work that I could do myself to make it run even more efficiently. I would definately recommend him to anyone wanting to speed-up their computer to get it running the way it "Should" be.

He sent me links for cleaning stuff and malware, and to link to his computer. He reviewed my system and deleted extraneous programs and helped me load tax software. He was very personable and professional.

He did the work online, he worked remotely and I gave him access to my computer. One computer was really slow and the other was just slow. He fixed the time it was taking my computer to respond. It was much faster when he got done working on it. He also cleaned up the hard drive and got rid of unnecessary stuff. He also installed a virus program and recommended a couple of programs for me. I didn't have Word on it and he recommended another program that worked similarly. He was very good, very helpful and very responsive. I was really happy not to take the computer somewhere or have someone over which would mean I'm tied up.

It went great. Gave me instructions prior to get my computer ready and well as follow up maintenance. Joe was fabulous and my computer is running much faster now. Bonus: my newer desk top computer came up with a "warning" problem and I used Joe's list to clean-up that computer and put it on the same maintenance schedule! (Sorry Joe! Hope I don't cost you on that one, but what the heck? It was a value added service!)

The individual was very prompt in answering my request and professional in explaining what was to be done and how it was to be done and consequently did everything as promised.

Everything about doing business with Joe was easy from setting up the appointment to settling the final bill. (My ThinkPad hadn't had any maintenance done on it in years so we needed two hours to clean up the various error messages and junk that had built up in the operating system.) Joe was very pleasant, punctual, extremely well organized and fast. I recommend setting aside two hours if your computer has some significant issues. (I kept getting mysterious messages at certain times every day among other things.) I did the appointment over lunch using a speaker phone so I could eat while answering Joe's questions (e.g., do you use Dropbox? Do you fax from your PC?), and the 2nd hour I multi-tasked using another computer. It was a very efficient use of my time and my computer is now humming along nicely! In the end Joe got rid of all my error messages and we got my actively running processes list down from 134 to about 85. Yea! (Special note: This was all done virtually. Joe is in Arizona, I'm in San Francisco. No problems or glitches and frankly must faster and easier for me than physically taking it into a shop somewhere in town.)
