It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased and it was mediocre. The guy was quite friendly but he could not really fix the issue. I have since purchased a new computer. There were no additional charges.

They never called me back. I didn't hear from them and was unable to get the work done.

Everything was done through an online system. He was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. He was really good and everything worked great afterwards. He deserves an A+!!

Smart Idea brought it back to an as new state. All my issues were addressed and corrected to my satisfaction. Computer is back to blazing speed!! I am very pleased with the work performed. The technician was very courteous and patient. He had several suggestions for keeping my system clean and working fast. A complete review of the system was conducted at the end of the session to insure my satisfaction. All the bases were touched and I am very satisfied with the service. Would recommend to friends.

Joe is my knight in shining armor! And it doesn't matter that he's located across the country! After changing "triple bundle" providers, my computer went crazy. I couldn't get online, which was a disaster for me. So, my first email, from my cell phone, was to Joe. He was calm, patient & good natured & fixed everything for me. I'm back to "normal", and would never consider using anyone else to get me out of computer trouble! Thanks, Joe, for a job VERY well done from a HUGE fan!

The process went very well. Joe was very knowledgeable and patient with getting me through the process, especially with it being remote. My computer was running very slow and I couldn't get my computer connected. Joe was excellent and I would definitely recommend his computer service.

The service was okay. It was adequate. Everything came back later, but it worked a good while when he did it. He was very professional, and he did do what he said he was going to do. He also said that if I had any questions I could contact him. He was very cordial. The pricing was okay. He let me know the time that was set by email, and he was available at that time.

Joe was wonderful compared to all service I ever had. Knowledgeable and patient, very responsive. He worked for some time by himself on my unfunctionable computer, then called me in again and explained, what I had to know. Now I am in good hands and I am happy.

I did not receive this service. I think the Big Deal I purchased was misleadingly advertised. It implied that the price included a complete computer tune up. Deeply buried in the "fine print" it said that the price was for one hour only. I literally could not find it with three looks through the material. The company that offered the Big Deal sent me a two page attachment highlighting the extra expenses so they know that that is an important piece of information to communicate to customers. They could easily have described the Big Deal as $95 for one hour of a computer tuneup instead of $95 for a computer tune up. It's true I wouldn't have bought the Big Deal ( because that's not really a very big deal) but I also wouldn't have been misled. I've gotten a computer tune up for $120 before so I thought the $95 was a good deal but it didn't seem unbelievably cheap for what I thought I was buying.

when i notified Mr. Shipley he was very understanding and said he would also try to have my payment refunded.

The provider accesses your computer remotely, and I needed someone to come to my house and look at some things. He was very responsive.

I explained the problem and answered his questions about my symptoms.and I was satisfied he was doing all the right stuff.Joe was professional,friendly, and seemed very knowledgable. The fix required over 2 hrs to fix, I was able to watch his procedure on line. I wish the fix would have been less cost and time, but he seemed very competent.

I was able to watch and take notes on everything he did. When he was finished, my computer was much faster and all programs opened faster. His work was performed expertly. This the third time I have used his expert services. He has always been most honest and trustworthy. I have absolutely no qualms about his remotely going through the files on my computer, even the more confidential ones. He is not only my technician of choice, even over many locally, and I highly and confidently recommend him to everyone. His prices are certainly competitive to any locally.

Timely phone call, connected to my computer, and an hour later everything was done.

Joe sent out a letter stating that he was not that familiar with Apple's Mac computer system. I called him and he agreed that I should take it to an Apple store to have it worked on. He offered to give me a refund, no problems at all.

They were excellent. They guy was in Arizona for a vacation and when I had a problem with my computer that he serviced earlier, he called me back from his vacation to help me. He was a wonderful person.

She did great job. She did a bunch of work to clean-up my wife's computer. I must say that the girl did a great job with what she did.

We did use them. I was not really happy. They would offer to help you speed up your computer and they really did not accomplish that. They could not do it within the time frame and need to call me back another time and it was a lot more money when they called back. I still really never was anything there is any great difference. No, I don’t, it’s been a long time. I’m thinking like maybe last fall or last year probably. I thought it was a little overpriced.

I was helping a friend with a computer that had become slow, and she was receiving alot of error messages. I knew I was in over my head so I called Joe Shipley at Smart Ideas. I called his, he answered the phone immediately, he said he could get back with me within the hour and we set an appointment and called him an hour later. He's very quick and timely. I had used him previously on a computer I had myself and he was extremely helpful and professional as well as easy to work with. He worked his magic and fixed this computer as well. I occasionally send him a question and he responds without any delay or charge for answering my questions. I would recommend him to all!

Joe had my problems solved in about a half hour and I was up and running again. I am a repeat customer and I'd happily refer friends and family to Joe for their computer maintenance needs.

If i could give Joe more than triple AAA reviews I would. I was in the difficult situation of having moved and my computer system was in tatters. Joe came to my home, was able to use one of my towers & my printer. He got my desk top going, laptop going & now i can print! He cleaned everything up & my system is in tip top shape. He also set things up so that he can now help me remotely if needed. Could not be more pleased. I knew it would take quite a bit of time & effort to fix my system. I felt the price was very fair.

Joe wasted no time getting to work on my computer, once I got it to him. It was too far gone to instruct me over the phone. He held it over night and called once he extracted the data. I'd recommend him highly. He was very trust worthy.

I had two computers that were not working properly; one desk top & one laptop. Both needed hardware evaluation and work. This requires a local computer person. Smart Ideas works remotely and could not properly assess the problems from a distance. Thankfully, he refunded the fee because he could not help me. He was very gracious and I appreciated that.
