I was very satisfied with the service and the professionalism. I would recommend Joe to anyone.

About a year ago I thought my old desktop computer needed to be replaced. It was slow, cumbersome, had some issues (turned out to be virus). The final straw was when it would not turn on and I (foolishly) had not backed up my data. I debated about even trying to have it serviced. I called Joe, discussed the problem, and decided to take it to him to see what he could do about getting my data. I took the computer to him thinking it would take a few days to see if it was salvageable. Joe very quickly diagnosed and fixed! He replaced the power supply, added memory, removed a lot of junk, Trojans, spyware, etc., installed "protection" and made a backup disk with my data. For just a couple hundred dollars I was back in operation!! When he said, "if you have any questions, just give me a call" he meant it ... nice to know. I highly recommend Joe as the "computer guy" to go! When I decided I did need a laptop for mobility, I called Joe to get his opinion and recommendation since he'll be the guy to do any work needed in the future.

Joe is very prompt and professional. He gets right down to business cleaning up the computer and making it run faster.

I had been working on fixing my email issue for some time (since I a tech savvy) but after trying everything I knew to do (or researched what to do) it wasn't working so I decided to hire a local professional via Angie's List. When I got to Angie's List I saw Joe's Company in AZ (not local to me in FL) with many positive reviews so I decided to read many of them. I decided to go with Joe because he was able to work on computers remotely and I thought that was even better than waiting for a local professional to come over. I'm really glad I picked working with Joe, a nice, honest, patient, sincere tech professional. Since I was not able to send him an email, I called, he answered and was able to start helping me right away. I'll definitely use Joe in the future should the need arise.

The remote tune-up went well and my computer has been running fine since then! They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions, and showed me a few things to do to keep it running quickly. There were no issues with scheduling.

It went GREAT - this was the third time we contacted Joe for help and each time our problems were efficiently resolved. He is very knowledgeable and responsive. We will call him again when we have computer problems.

Joe is so professional. I sent him an email explaining the problem, figuring I would hear from him via email on Monday. He called me on my cell phone an hour later and helped me walk through how to protect my computer. This pop-up message seemed to be implementing some changes I had made but I didn't think I had made any. I was afraid to restart my computer. Joe has always been able to help me with any computer issues and he is great at explaining what he is doing so that you can learn and use some of the information yourself in the future. He has done everything from set up my new computer and transfer all my data from my old one to troubleshooting issues via remote. I had never worked with anyone via remote before but it is great and helps you get things done without driving and lugging your computer around. Joe is an absolute professional and I trust him completely. He has never let me down and I have recommended him to many people. He is like having your own IT Department available at any time. I know just enough about computers to be dangerous so I am grateful that my husband and I can call on him to keep our computers safe and running well.

My Big Deal expired and he still horned the deal. He was able to perform the services. He was professional and he told me upfront that it would be extra and I was okay with that. He gave me the options right away, because he knew it would take longer. He was great!

The service was great. This is the second time we have used Smart Ideas to help with our computer. I emailed Joe to schedule a time to work on the computer. He was very accommodating to our schedule. At the designated time, he called and we were able to begin right away. He accessed our computer remotely to copy our iTunes from our old computer to the new computer. He then installed iTunes on the new computer and uploaded the library. Then he went through our new computer and removed unwanted programs. Then we backed up the computer. The process took about 45 minutes to complete. We look forward to using Smart Ideas in the future, Joe is a pleasure to work with.

The office person was friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, I thought they would send someone to my house, but I was told that they only offered remote assistance. I had the deal refunded for this reason.

The technician was not able to access my computer remotely and was therefore not able to perform any of the services I desired.

Joe was and is great. Not only did he get pop ups off my computer but he tweaked it closing unused programs, cleaning disks etc. So far everything is working out well. He was also nice enough to explain things and show me some things I can do with certain programs. Would definitely use Joe again. Well worth the money

My computer had been hacked into. The provider checked out everything on the computer, ran tests, cleaned up files, help me change password to everything and made sure everything was working promptly. He did this by remote as he is located in the Phoenix Arizona area. He responded to my request on Angie;s list within several hours and provided his service the next day. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and will certainly use him in the future.

In the short and long term, my computer continued with the problems that it had before I had it "fixed" by the provider. In addition, I found out that he was not located in Jacksonville, FL where I live, but was on the phone with me from a town in Arizona. I did not like the fact that, in your advertisement, you did not clearly explained .the location of the provider. I would NOT have chosen him if I knew he was all the wayt in AZ!

Provider was professional, prompt and helpful. Completed work that was requested to a high degree of satisfaction.

Joe is professional and very prompt. I emailed him about my issue and he called back within an hour.. maybe less. I would definitely recommend his services.

This company was able to clean out a major clog in my computer system. My computer was extremely slow and over run with multiple startup issues. As a novice user, I would naively select upgrades that were useless or more directly, harmful to the performance of my computer. Joe was extremely patient in cleaning out unwanted programs and providing guidance regarding unnecessary programs. It was very de-stressing and educating. In a nutshell, Joe was able to restore my confidence in my computer. I would recommend Joe and his company to anyone with computer issues.

Bought a new laptop for daughter and decided to keep old one for myself (to use away from home). However, I removed much of the software she had on it (she is a foreign language [Japanese & Chinese] student and much of what was on there was in those languages and of little use to me. In removing that software I must have really messed it up because it would no longer boot up or, if I could get it to boot, I could not get an internet connection. Called Joe (this would be the third time I have used him - upgraded a PS3; built an new desktop computer for me) and, since there was no way he could do the job remotely (no internet connection) I brought the laptop to him. He said it would take a couple of days but he called the next day and the job was done. Picked it up and everything works. Joe, my only don't is that you don't let someone else drive the golf cart.

After asking friends and colleagues about finding someone to help me diagnose strange issues with my email and being told it was going to be REALLY complicated and expensive, I tried Angie's List to find someone with local reviews. I didn't find anyone close to on the map, however, Smart Ideas was listed as servicing my area remotely. Plus they had great reviews. Noticing they where in a different time zone, I called to leave a message. To my delight Joe himself answered the phone and we were able to schedule a remote for later the SAME DAY. Right on schedule, later in the day, Joe called, we discussed my issue, he said he was confident he could fix it, and he connected remotely to my computer. He explained his process along the way. At one point he needed some other resources, so he told me he would check on it an get back to me. Within 15 minutes, we were back at it and solved the problem. Before we ended, he asked if I WAS SATISFIED and would like to TEST HIS FIX. I did and the problem was SOLVED! Start to finish, under an hour.... no reinstalls, no mumbo-jumbo. Joe provides clear problem solving skills, communication, and results. Smart Ideas is now in my contact list as Best Computer Services!

It went great. Gentleman was very patient, spoke in terms we could understand, easy to reach, solved our problems

He did a great job, responded quickly to my request, worked with me for 2 hours on the phone to fix my computer , internet access, and provide ongoing protection. He explained what he was doing the whole time, and helped me to better understand things so that I may be able to help myself in the future. I believe everything other reviewers said on Angie's list based on my experience. He was upfront with the cost, and was very fair. I don't like to part with any more money that I have to and like to do things myself whenever possible, however, I was at an impasse, and believe this was a wise investment of both money and time. My computer is much faster, and no intrusive ads anymore. Very pleasant to work with, and nice sense of humor.

ovGreat. He sent instructions for a few free cleaners that did a ton of work making his time more productive. He worked over an hour non stop at solving my computers problems. I've gotten two more years out of a lap top I thought I'd have to toss in the garbage. Great service and a great price.

I have basic computer skills and just needed help tuning up the performance. He was very courteous, helpful, and understanding of my problems and level of computer skills. Joe was willing to help out and answer questions in ways that I can understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs computer help.
