I called in the morning and they came out in the afternoon to move me. They were courteous and professional. They were very fast and took the extra care needed for my antique brass bed. Would use them again in a heart beat.

I called on friday after Thanksgiving, and recieved a call back within the hour. We scheduled the piano to be moved tuesday between 9:30 - 10:30am. The men called around 9:30am and let me know they would be there at 10:30. They were there at 10:30am. They took their time getting the piano on the trailer, wrapped it and strapped it down and delivered it to my new home in perfect condition. They treated the piano as if it was thier own, and I appreciate that. I would use Small Move Specialist again and I highly recommend them.

I called an set an appointment for two days out for early in the morning. My work schedule changed - had a meeting come up - and I called back the next day to see if I could move. He said that he would have to check with another customer to see if they could swap. He got back to me pretty quickly and said that the swap actually worked better for the other customer. We met at the agreed time at the storage location. I particularly appreciated the way they treated the piano both putting it on their trailor and in placing it in my home.

Daryn and his crew (2 additional movers) arrived when the said they wood and easily loaded the furniture and other items in about a 1/2 hour. It was about a 20 minute drive to the new place and then they unloaded everything and took it up three flights of stairs to the new place. The whole job was 1 1/2 hours start to finish. Small Move Speciaist wasn't the least expensive mover that I contacted but because of their rating on Angie's list, I decided to go with them. They were quick and efficient, no chatting, they just got the job done and we appreciated this. Everything was well protected for the move and it all arrived safely with no bumps or scratches.

I contacted Darryn Ruzicka, the owner/operator of Small Move Specialist back in June to find out if he could move the contents and a several pieces of furniture from the classroom where I taught last year to my new classroom at another school in the same district. He provided me with a quote and said to call 4-5 business days ahead to book the date. Since school personnel are in and out all summer and the schools closed certain days and weeks, flexibility was key. Darryn assured me he would work with me to schedule a mutually convenient date and time. I called back a week ahead of the move in late June and after having to reschedule with him once because my principal would not be in the building on the originally scheduled date, we agreed on July 7. I appreciated it when he telephoned the day prior to the move to confirm the date, time, and destination. On the day of the move, he showed up between 9 and 10 o'clock (I liked this later morning time since it gave me a chance to get around before he and his assistant showed up.) He and his moving assistant wasted no time loading my 60+ boxes of books and teaching tools, 5 pieces of furniture, and 20+ plastic lidded containters. They then followed me to the new school where the custodian let us in and Darryn and assistant unloaded the trailer and bed of his truck where my items had been securely loaded for transport. At each turn, the movers oblilged my requests as to where to place boxes, moved a couple of furniture pieces a couple of times to different places in my classroom, and were ultra polite, friendly, and professional. When everything was where I wanted it, I paid Darryn and thanked him for his excellent service. I told him I would be recommending him to fellow teachers who had also considered hiring a mover to assist with school relocations. While I hope this is my last move, I would hire Small Move Specialist in a second if the need arose again.

I called to inquire about prices for moving two refrigerators between houses. I was given an estimate of $120 but was told that if doors had to be removed there would be additional charges. The owner/operator arrived promptly as arranged the next day. The move was very difficult as space was tight. Exterior door removal was necessary as well as removal of refrigerator drawer. All was done efficiently. The move was accomplished with no damage but took took longer than anticipated. I paid $180 and think that was a fair price for the work done. The owner/operator Darryn Ruzicka is very pleasant man.
