Crew was very efficient, No problems minimal debts which they cleaned up entire. Very polite.

Jeff called back promptly and was able to come out to take a look. He took pictures and notes. He and his assoiciate, Kevin, got back to us promptly with a contract containing complete details and information. His price was fair and reasonable, his workers came out with the detailed contract in hand and got to work. They did a great job and were very professional and polite. We would recommend Roofstar to anyone and would definitely use them again.

He was very good on the first call and it seemed repaired I called him back a few weeks later because I still had a leak in roofs general area where the first leak was and he said he would call me back when he had time. He never did I have since had no leaks on that roof. So if he had called me back I would have given him a better review. Maybe he just forget people do get busy..

Punctual, prepared, competent, creditableand communicative. Told us exactly what was needed and then his crew proceeded to do it. Several minor problems with roof of house we bought but they were all clearly defined and repaired which time will tell if they are effective. Jeff, the owner, communicated with us constantly updating the progress. And pleasantly at that I might add. Highly recommend these people for similar problems.

Showed as promised for both the estimate and to perform the work. Work was done completely and in a timely manner and they cleaned up their mess when done. 2 year warranty and I couldn't be happier with their service. Very professional! I highly recommend!

The president, Jeff, came to my home and did the roof inspection. He then explained in detail what was necessary to repair the roof. Within 2 days, he e-mailed me the estimate. It was in the ballpark with the other 3 estimates, but Jeff was the only one who gave the personal time and explanation of what to expect. The roofing began approximately one week after the estimate, and the work was finished in 4 days. The workers were punctual and very courteous. They did a great job and cleaned up completely. Jeff did a thorough inspection when the work was done. I would highly recommend this company! We had a huge rainstorm 4 days after the completion of the work and I am happy to report, no leaks or problems!

Jeff showed up on time for the initial estimate appointment on 2/7. After the estimate appointment, neither Jeff or Kevin return calls or emails. Appt was on 2/7 and no responses from Roofstar after we tried to contact them on 2/16, 3/1 and 4/8. Very unprofessional. We suspect that calls weren't returned because it was a small job, however, a courtesy call would have been nice.

They showed up when they said they would. They also offered to come out and bring tarps to protect my home against the monsoon. They are great guys. They are really friendly and follow up very well. I don't have the money to complete the project right now but I will probably be going with them when I do.

They were willing to sit and explain a lot of things to you. They were excellent as far as professionalism, knowledge and the service is concerned. Their price was like half of the other provider.

Initial contact was great - scheduled an inspection and Jeff was right on time. This was early Dec. '10. I was also impressed with the thoroughness of the inspection and the time Jeff took in explaining everything to me. Of the 3 companies I had out for quotes, I had planned to go with Roofstar (even though the highest) because I thought that they would do the most thorough repair. Unfortunately, after the initial visit, things went downhill. After a month, in which I had still not received a quote, I began following-up with Roofstar for the quote. It was the holidays, and I didn't have a leak, so was still OK with things. Then, I got a quote for the first half of the job (tile roof repair). However, I also wanted the walking deck repaired, and wanted the work to be done all at once. So, I followed up several times for the 2nd quote, but it never came. At this point, it's been 2 months, and my patience has run out, so I'm trying to find a new roofing contractor. I gotta admit, I am perplexed that a company would spend the calories to come out for an inspection, and then drop the ball on providing the quote, but this seems to be Roofstar's MO, if you read some of the other reports. Too bad, I was very impressed with Jeff after the initial visit, and was prepared to give them my business.

Very poorly--did not do what was promised.

Can't say enough great things about this company! Jeff came out to the house and did a very thorough inspection. He told us how they would fix the leak but also suggested some modest maintenance items that would extend the life of our roof. He explained everything in detail, with drawings. His quote was comparable to others we received and they warranty their work. Once we gave them the go-ahead, they were able to fit us into their schedule and do the work two days later! The crew was very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Jeff came out to do an inspction after the work was done. The whole process was painless and we feel confident our roof is in good shape for several years to come.

Jeff came to do an estimate a couple of weeks ago, prompt and professional. They did the work quickly and the roof looks great. Jeff came with the work crew to supervise. We like the 5 year warranty. They did a great job and we would certainly recommend them.

I called Jeff on August 24 to schedule an appointment for an estimate for roof repair caused by recent storm damage. I had to leave a message, but in less than 30 minutes received a call from Jeff?s assistant, Kevin, and we scheduled the appointment for August 26th. This call was confirmed with an e-mail which I really appreciated. On the 26th Jeff called me and said he was running early and asked if it would be okay if he came early. This worked with my schedule so I told him to come on over. Jeff was very nice and willing to show/explain to me what he thought needed to be done. He was at my home for about 30 minutes and said I could expect an estimate by e-mail in a couple of days. It?s now September 3rd and I still do not have an estimate. On August 31st I sent an e-mail to Kevin asking when I could expect the estimate. He said he had seen Jeff working on it the day before and that I should receive it on the 31st or the next day. Still no estimate. I can only assume that Jeff is not interested in this small job (prior estimates ranged from $700 - $1,400). I can accept not wanting to do a job, but I think the courteous thing to do is communicate this to the customer.

They provided a three year warranty. I wasn?t here but my husband was pretty satisfied. They came to do the inspection but it took a while to generate the bid. They were pretty quick and they were done with the work in a day. They didn?t just put us off because we were a small job and the price was quite good.

We took formal bids from 3 roofing companies to replace our asphalt roof. The bids were similar, but we selected Roofstar primarily because of the personal attention we received during the on-site visit and in follow-up calls. For my initial inquiry in May, Roofstar was working 6-8 weeks out. I called them 5 weeks later and the receptionist (Brian) remembered my name and our details. At that time, they were able to schedule much closer. The owner, Jeff, came out to our home a few days later and spent more than an hour reviewing our situation. He was very attentive and personable. We particularly appreciated his patience in helping us choose a shingle color and pattern. He pointed out a few homes in the neighborhood that had similar color brick, and brought a set of sample shingles for us to put on the roof and look at for a few days, in morning and afternoon lighting. The 6-man crew began early on a Monday and finished 3 days later, as planned. They worked extremely hard the whole time and were polite and friendly despite heat in the 100s. Jeff worked with them for the whole project. Their work was thorough and professional and showed much attention to detail, especially in the finish-work along the eves. All items were carefully cleaned up after and they were careful about vegetation around the house. I high recommend Roofstar for roofing work.

Owner came out to do the inspection. Very professional. Work was able to be done right away. Not to many roofing companies are able to handle flat roofs and shingle roofs. I had to call at least 4 before I found Jeff. Jeff came back twice to inspect the work, which I appreciated since I sure wasn't going to wander around the roof. We were very pleased with the service.

Had three leaks that had been repaired twice in the past by two other roofing companies. Roofstar repaired at what we consider reasonable cost and gave us warranty on these specific leaks.

It worked out very well. I was very pleased with the owner who provided the quote. He suggested an upgrade for a change in code. He offered that as something to do to maintain the roof. The guys came out, spent about 6 hours and took care of everything. I am quite pleased with their work.

No issues with the overall process. Jeff came to the property to do the estimate, and brought back a sample card. Attention to customer service is a big factor in my selecting RoofStar for the job. The work was done in a day and thoroughly cleaned up.

Jeff and his crew did a great job, and even faster than estimated. They tore off the old flat roof on the first day, and since the monsoon clouds were threatening, Jeff covered the whole roof in plastic before going home, which was much appreciated. They finished the new flat roof in a couple more days. Excellent work and just in time. The day after they finished the monsoons hit and it rained cats and dogs. There were no leaks, everything was good to go. We are very happy with it.

The house, with part flat and part sloping tiled roof, is 24 years old (built in 1985) and has had past roof coating service two times over the years by other tradesmen (the first thorough and pricey, the second cheap and superficial). Jeff Knudsen, the Roofstar Co. principal, inspected the roof in detail and measured the area. He recognized the pros and cons of past roof service, and described the needs and potential life of the present proposed roof work. He furnished a precise written recommendation and estimate, and estimated wait time and work time (3 days). He included his own 2-year warranty. He and his crew of two assistants arrived promptly, worked, and finished on time. I joined him on the roof from time to time for my own inspection. Jeff and crew seemed friendly, diligent, and businesslike. At my request he returned once or twice to improve small details. I am very satisfied -- as well as a layman homeowner can be. I felt the price was higher than I cared for, but I was led to expect higher-than-average quality and service, and I believe that expectation was fulfilled.
