Description of Work: As a realtor, I have used Roofstar on several occasions. The first time, my client was told by a different roofing company that they needed a new $17,000 roof. Based on a referral from my Broker, I called Roofstar for a 2nd opinion. Jeff from Roofstar came out, and fully inspected the roof. He stated the home actually needed less than $900 in repairs! What a huge difference! His honesty and knowledge saved my clients from this enormous expense. He is now the only one I call...

Description of Work: Hail storm damage in 2011. 3 estimates made. They concurred that new roof needed. Jeff clearly marked the damaged areas, so that when the insurance adjuster came he agreed and authorized replacement. Roof star was selected. Several days later they called stating another family had cancelled. They completed far earlier then expected-a professional job.

+ -1 moreJeff Knudson the owner met with me at my home. He was friendly, detailed oriented & patient to deal with. He drew a diagram of my roof & the existing problem we had after a storm ripped through our neighborhood taking several tiles off. He climbed up on our roof, which is 2 story & has a large pitch. His ladder wasn't tall enough so he improvised by climbing on one roof and hoisting himself up to the higher roof. He spent a lot of time checking the existing damage and the condition of the entire roof. Rec'd estimate on the spot, set-up appt. He called to confirm his appt. and showed-up as promised. His workers were polite and courteous and left our yard spotless along w/extra tiles. Jeff came out while they were working and afterward to make sure the work was done correctly. Good work Jeff. It was a pleasure to work w/Jeff and will use him again for our home and rental properties. He's honest, friendly, and reliable and takes his work seriously. Highly recommend him/ Roofstar.
Description of Work: Repaired damage to tile roof. Hauled broken tiles/debris away. Checked entire roof to make sure no other problems existed. Installed hurricane clips at hip roof areas for future storms to keep existing tiles in tact.

+ -1 moreJeff Knudson was a pleasure to deal with and seemed very honest and concerned with the quality of his work. After the work was complete, on his own, he gave me a call to see if he could come out again to repair another area of the roof at no charge because he didn't feel comfortable with it. Overall it went very well.
Description of Work: My tile roof was showing some damage in the fascia and under the tile in some areas. Tile needed to be removed and plywood underneath replaced. Also bird roosting areas needed to be removed and screened off.
