I have used Paul for over 12 years. He was referred to me by a friend that had used him for years before that. He is prompt in returning calls and setting up appointments. He always shows up when he says he will. He has done numerous handyman jobs in the past including rebuilding a rusting light fixture by my driveway. He can do some plumbing and electrical. He will tell you if he cannot do the job you need. He has fixed drywall repairs and gates. He enlarged a TV niche for my sister and did a beautiful job. His price is very fair and competitive. I have not found any neighbors that have a lower handyman price with such quality work. Paul is easy to get along with and trustworthy. I have A/C filters that are on my 12 foot ceiling. He measures the size, goes and purchases the new filters and comes back and installs them. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I just moved into a new house and had a dishwasher that was not working. I called 4 different handymen listed with 4 starts and none of them even bothered to return my phone call other than Paul. This I assume was because it was a small job. Paul however called me and told me over the phone how we could fix it! He even said my father could call him on his cell to ask if he has any questions since he would be the one fixing it. Paul took time out of his day for no money to help me and didn't coem to the house and charge me for something we could do on our own. You don't find this a lot! I will call him for any futuire jobs we have and tell anyone I know to hire him as well!

Paul called to say he was on his way and arrived right at the appointed hour. The screen needed a wood support beam and Paul went to Home Depot and purchased a cedar piece rather than a cheap wood that would have rotted in a few years. He installed the screen on that beam, making certain it was precisely level so it would raise and lower perfectly. He had never seen this type of Sunsetter brand screen, but figured it out immediately and did a precision installation...I could not be happier. Paul's professionalism and drive for perfection, along with his pleasant personality, will be welcome in our house whenever the need arises. Highly recommended.

Overall, this job could not have been improved upon. From initial phone call to complted job was less than a day. Paul's work is excellent. He obviously takes great pride in doing very professional work that is highly functional and very pleasing to the eye. I certainly intend to use Paul for other handyman jobs around our home!

Installed a kitchen sink, installed 2 fans, put together a 60" media center, hung chandelier, installed dimmer switch, installed 2 shelf brackets. Ten hour day.

He did a really good job. Everything turned out as he described. He's a very good worker, spending about two days on this project. I would recommend him to anybody. He's actually scheduled to come back later to install a cabinet.

He's a great craftsman. Did each job in a timely manner and cleaned up well after each job. On time to work each day, stayed until job was done that day with lots of updates on progress and what exactly he was doing to effect repair.

Paul Meade returned my call the same day, even though he explained that he was out of state and would call when he returned in about three days. He did call back, scheduled a time to come and give an estimate. While giving the estimate to install grab bars and to redo caulking in two bathrooms, he also explained what we should look for and what to expect for our needs when we shopped for the grab bars. Paul was extremely prompt, both in coming for the estimate and on the return visit to do the work. He works neatly and professionally. I was impressed with his work.

Ever had someone in your house that you just knew you could trust? That is the type of person Paul is. His work is excellent and he's a good guy all around. Will hire him again. :-)

I called Paul on a Friday and he showed up the next morning to give me a quote. He was punctual and professional. We were afraid that we would have to replace all the wood around the garage doors, but Paul stated that he could sand down the existing wood and patch it. Our house is older and the quality of the wood used on original doors was much better than anything we could go buy now. We were happy with the thought of keeping that original wood. He did not quote painting the eaves because he said the job should really be done with a paint sprayer and he didn't have the right equipment. The quote was higher than I expected, but I was willing to pay more for quality. Based on previous Angie's List reviews I was really hoping to see high quality work. We agreed that he would come out that Monday morning and that he might have to come back on Wednesday to finish the job. Paul showed up on time and started the work. He sanded and patched the garage doors and painted the fascia on the front of the house. He came back on Wednesday as agreed and finished the job. We could not be more pleased. The trim around the garage doors does not look 'new', but it does look a million times better. His work was very meticulous and he cleaned up after himself. He cut the mister system into small sections so that he could fit them into our garbage bin. He patched all the holes in the fascia (many of the holes were from the mister system.) The paint around the fascia looks excellent. There are no sloppy spots where he dropped paint or painted something that he shouldn't have. Overall, I think his price was high. However I have seen the work done by cheaper contractors. I am very happy to pay more to get good quality work done. We were very pleased with his work and will definitely call him for any future projects.

Paul arrived on time. As I showed him the various problems, Paul explained how he would complete each repair. He works at a fair rate. I didn't have to pay high rates to cover business office, advertising, etc as with many service providers. The work was first-rate and I'll call Paul again when I need help on another job.

Took him 2 days to hang large pictures etc for me......extremely slow process......work was very well done but the charge for doing so was very expensive.....

Paul was fantastic to work with. I had received several estimates ranging from $450 to $1100 for the work I needed done and was more confused than ever. Paul came by and gave me a reasonable explanation of the work he was to do and based on the length of time it would take him, he gave me an estimate that I felt the most comfortable with - not the highest or the lowest. I decided to go with his handyman services based on the pricing and the process in which he would complete the work. We scheduled the work to be done in one day and with some expected rain in the forecast, we decided that he would complete paint work on the exterior window the following day. I was impressed with Paul's professionalism and fairness. Even with splitting the work over 2 days, he did not change his pricing and stuck with the estimate. I am extremely pleased with his quality of work and craftsmanship and will absolutely use his services again in the future.

It went well. I called his phone number and left a message. He called back and we agreed on an appointment time for the following Tuesday. Saturday morning he called and said he was working to finish another job and he could start my job in about an hour if I wanted him to. I said OK, so he arrived on schedule and did the job, which took about an hour. He worked diligently and did a great job.

It was one of the best experiences I have had in hiring a contractor to do what I needed accomplished. Most was little items but things I wanted done. Since I am not physically able to do this myself, it was a pleasure to have a true professional and gentleman.

The work needed was extemsive. The repairs are excellent. Paul has a combination of personal professionalism and highly skilled craftsmanship that is extremely rare. I give him my highest recommendation, and I will definitely use his services again.
