Paul Meade Handyman

He is always consistent and does a good job. He did things that nobody else could do and that others could not do as good as him.

Paul did a great job! I asked if I could drop the drawer off for him as I would be driving close by to where his home/workshop is located. He said yes. He had the drawer completely fixed for me within the same day. He extra-reinforced it and obviously knew what he was doing. We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for repair jobs.

He did an excellent job. Responded very quickly, reasonable quote and did a good job. He was very prompt, got right to work, finished the job and cleaned up after himself.

It went very well. Paul did a professional job. Finished everything off and caulked all around the edges. He was on time and called when he was on his way. Very polite, and courteous. I would use Paul again.

He was one of the few door specialist, based on his ads it really had a lot expertise in doors. He was responsive and punctual.

Paul Mead did a good job. He replaced the batteries and fixed what another company didn't get fixed. I was very happy with him and he told me that I made need an electrician.

Everything went well. Mr. Meade was very thorough and did good work. The frame and threshold turned out nicely.

Paul works steadily and understands what I want done and thinks things through and gets to work. He gets the job done!

Mr. Meade was professional on the phone and in person. He was punctual and after inspecting the work to be done, he started the repairs immediately. He also took the time to answer any questions and explain his method of repairs. We will definitely use him again next time we need a handy man.

I called Paul and got an answering machine, he called me back a few hours later. Was very professional and friendly. I explained what was happening and I thought needed to be done. We were going to set up a time for him to come by when I was home, but realizing the latch on the main gate was broken, advised him I was fine with him coming by to take a look when I wasn't there since I was not off work until 3pm. He said he would go by and take a look the next day. The next day, I got a call at work, he gave me an estimate......I don't really know if $78 was too much, too little or just right, but it seemed very fair to me,and I was happy to pay it to get them fixed. He said he would fix and reinforce the screws and that he could do it right then if I wanted. I gave him the go-ahead, he left an invoice on my back patio and I sent him a check in the mail. When I got home, I saw that he did a great job and the latches were more secure then they were when they were new!! All in all, it was a great experience. Weird that I didn't get the meet someone who worked on my home! I'm making my list of things I need to have done around the house and I will definately be calling him. Thanks Paul

I have used Paul for years. Once again he performed all the tasks very well. He is one of the hardest workers of service men I have used! He is always pleasant to be around. His prices are reasonable and prudent. He gives great advice and is always extremely handy with odd jobs and projects. He found solutions to fix two broken chairs and screwed my table top back on. I would highly recommend him and continue to use him.

Overall, I was very impressed with the guy. He seems to be very knowledgeable and he said he will look this up and look that up and get back. He seems to have enough experience to know what he was getting into and how much it was going to cost and gave a horse back figure. He gave me the number right on the spot. He was prompt. Although he didn’t do anything I was confident that he will be the one I will call when I get ready to start the project.

Paul Meade responded to our message very quickly and was punctual for the arranged appointment. He was professional, courteous and very capable. He had all the necessary tools and did an excellent job for us. We felt his price was fair and would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to family and friends.

He charged from the time he left his home, I wrote everything down that I wanted completed. He started but it took him a very long time to complete 1 task. Paul was at my house from 7:15am - 4:00pm and only finsihed 3 small areas of drywall. He didn't complete the drywall, didnt complete electrical plates and only hung 1 door hinge. While drywall was drying he just stood there and wouldnt start another task it's like I had to direct him. He was very forgetful. He said it shouldnt take anymore then 4 or 5 hours but was here 9 hours. I feel like I shouldnt have had to pay him that much, $350 is ridiculous for the lack of work done.

Paul contacted me within 48-hours after I left a message. He scheduled a time with me the following week. He arrived just as expected and reviewed the list of projects that I wanted done. He got started on things that needed drying time and them went to Home Depot to pick up materials and select a new steel door for our exterior side door. He got all the projects done over two-days and he came up with solutions that we had never thought of. I've had two other handymen look at my closet bi-fold door and none knew how to keep the pin from falling out. Paul knew an easy solution that involved dropping the track by inserting a new piece of wood above the track. He came up with other clever solutions, like cutting drywall into two sections for our attic access, adding weatherstriping to our exterior door, etc. He also made a careful study of why our toilet was running and replaced the necessary parts. His experience, reliability, friendliness and broad skillset make him an ideal handyman!

I was not home. When I came home the cabinets had been removed. The area was clean when I came home.

Paul is an excelllent handyman who takes his job very seriously. He went about doing is job in a professional manner without any fanfare and he did everything to my satisfaction. When we had a problem with a door part he even went out to Lowes and got the part and replaced the old part. And on top of this he is a really nice guy. If I need him I will call him again and again and again.

Because of another "handyman" who failed to show for an appointment I went back to Angie and found this gentleman. I could not have done better. He was courteous, pleasant, forthright and scheduled me immediately the next day. He arrived n time, went about his business and fixed everything to our complete satisfaction. The moral of this story is to be sure an contract with an independent handy man and not go through a handyman service. wholeheartedly recommend this gentleman.

Paul did excellent work - he thought things through (note: we have 12-foot high ceilings); removed an existing can light; confirmed adequate support for the new fixture; fabricated custom hardware; mounted a medallion and 3-light chandelier in it's place; and, replaced 4 ceiling mounted air filters (unrelated to the primary task)... will not hesitate to use him again...

Overall I would hire Paul for any future work I am uanble to do myself. He is very professional and his work ethic is exemplayr.
