It went very well. Mike was very patient with me. He clearly explained the cause of the problem and set about to fix it. He ran certain scans that cleaned up the problems.

The computer is running much better. I would use him again and recommend his services.

He was very friendly and did not treat me like someone who did not know anything.

He did some work on the computer clean some program off As soon as it was Complete it got virus he said if any problem to call again.iwas wondering how safe is my personal information doing this.my first time

I contacted Mike by phone and he was available to do the tune up. Before we started, he advised me of the steps he was going to take to complete the tune up. It was going to take about 40 minutes to one hour to complete. A virus was found at which time he called me to ask me if i wanted it removed because it would involve about two more hours (if i remember correctly). He also advised me that he capped his charges so even though he worked a few hours more than expected, the final charge was well worth it. Mike was very patient with answering my questions and offered very helpful suggestions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needed help with their computer.

Great. Sure, I could buy something and try to do this myself, but then whatever I bought would want more money as time passes for upgrades etc. So I decided it would be smarter to let Mike decide what the best software would be and use his. I did not even need to leave my house- he accessed my machine remotely and removed all the bad stuff for me. I contacted him this morning and by 4pm my laptop was serviced. He offered two levels of clean up, I choose the full scan for $130

Absolutely excellent. I am so impressed. As a small business owner who is very customer oriented I was so impressed by the excellence of service that I received. Mike was patient ,and Mike replied to my purchase of his service almost immediately. He took the time to explain what he was doing each step of the way. I was so appreciative of the fact that he in no way condescended to me or treated my lack of knowledge with any degree of impatience. He was friendly, kind and even took the time to suggest a good buy for a lap time that would serve my particular needs. This is the type of service one does not often get in today's busy world, prompt reply to my purchase, immediate fix and courtesy above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for. Just superb work!

My computer had been getting very slow and there were more and more Security Alert notices popping up. Mike was very easy to work with and accommodating re: appointment times. As a senior citizen who is "computer illiterate", I wanted to schedule a time when my daughter was here to talk to him. He cleared an astonishing amount of "junk" and several serious threats from the computer. I'm planning to do this at least once a year and will not hesitate to contact him again when I'm ready.

Mike improved both the PC's responsiveness and boot up time significantly - running much more smoothly and where it should be. He ran his malware and spyware checking software, and also saw where my PC was loading the same apps/pages multiple times on startup. He also highly recommended I shut down every night, which I wasn't doing because it took so long to start up, but now I am and start up time is at least 2x faster than before (I run Windows 10). Two small 'cons': 1) price - even though I didn't contact him via Angie's list for this job, I expected ~ $55 rate because he took about an hr. He charged me $85. When I asked him about this rate he said he went a "little beyond" the normal, but I didn't feel that way. Since I mentioned it I felt he should have at least met halfway and settled on $70, but I am not one to quibble over price for this service, so $85 it was. 2) the other niggly computer issue I had was the message "Intel Rapid start technology is not enabled," which still appears after start up, though I just click off it. In viewing what he was doing on my PC, he said that should take care of that message showing up, but it did not. Minor, but for $85...

explained to me that my laptop was old (10 years) & should really be replaced. Got me up & running a lot better than I expected. Was able to back up & save everything.

Work was quickly scheduled, after I placed my order. Appointment for remote service was set (to comply with my schedule); approx 1 hour of analysis / corrections was applied -- remotely. I'm quite satisfied with the service performed, and the improvements I've experienced. Ken Buelow

I was out of the country while the offer I purchased expired before I could use it, so I did not receive any service from Mike's Computer Repair

Mike is a very no-nonsense professional who is aware of his customer's time & financial considerations. My laptop was not acting well at all & I had to call him a couple of times to get a final resolution, but the multiple appointments were not Mike's fault, my computer just had a resistant virus. I trust him & will be using his services if/when needed.

Very well. He was prompt/courteous and professional. Did the work immediately. I would hire him again. Needed an extra hr. to finish the job as I don't do anything with my computer.

He did minimal things and then saying you have to pay me a massive amount for him to move it forward. He did nothing. I called Angie's List to ask if what a good one to hire for fixing a computer. The woman gave me an Angie's one that I called that one and he was fantastic. He so fixed it. Dan Zivetz - West LA Computer. Didn't get him on Angie's List but just called him and he comes to the house and can do things online.

Great!! Mike takes his time to correct all your problems and advises you of any abnormalities along with possible resolutions. He listens and is not just about the money.
