Mike's Computer Repair

Description of Work: I have an older computer that was extremely slow and troublesome. Also I have a new laptop that I wanted to transfer info from the older desktop to. My computer "know how" is limited. Mike was extremely knowledgable and professional and I did learn some things. My only hesitation in giving a higher rating is the extra charge for two hours work for transferring files. In afterthought, I would have much preferred to have been told how to do it myself and avoided those extra charges.

Description of Work: They were completely professional. Did a very good job. I was pleased with their skills and attention to details. I thought they were worth every penny I spent. When we need internal painting, I will not hesitate to call them.

Description of Work: Talked with Mike by phone. Since he's in Phoenix, he suggested I look for local service. He seemed very capable & honest & pinpointed my problem in less than 2 minutes on the phone.

Description of Work: He remotely tuned up my laptop. It didn't improve how it ran much & I lost several functions. He helped with them, but it still had changes I could't figure out.

Description of Work: Mike was able to clean my grandsons computer by removing all of the malware and cleaned his PC so that it would be able to run the internet and not get hung up. Mike was able to provide me with information about the speed of my internet and gave me specific instructions on how to update the antivirus protection on the computer to help eliminate malware. He was prompt and perfessional and was very knowledgable.

Description of Work: The co was wanting to do the service on line. I do not want to do service on line.

Description of Work: Installed new box to receive data.

Description of Work: Showed up on time, ran clean test and found the problem with my computer and fixed said problem. I wanted to use a credit card which I did not have on me, Mike allowed me to pay on Monday 4/13/15 which allowed me time to get said credit card. A BIG thank you to Mike. I will use his service twice a year for as long as I have a computer.

Description of Work: Mike tuned up my computer to get it running more efficiently. He could not fix my printer even though he was able to find & reinstall the printer driver. He advised me to buy a new printer, as mine is old, & even advised me on what to buy & where to buy it. He said to call him back if I had any questions.

Description of Work: My CD/DVD drive appears to have gone out so I called Mike to see if he provided that service. By telephone we discussed the problem and Mike asked if I had tried a couple of things, which I had. He said he could replace the drive, but since it was the CD/DVD drive he suggested I go to Best Buy and just buy a remote drive that would plug into a USB port! What a cost savings! He lost out on potential business and saved me a lot of money. I'll call him in the future if I have a need for the services he provides.

Description of Work: Evaluated computer crash, determined the computer had failed, rescued all files on the computer and transferred the files to a mobile hard drive.
