Description of Work: He replaced the motherboard on my computer for $100 less than the Geek Squad quoted to me. The new one was defective so he returned it and waited for a new one. The new one is working fine! |Friendly, courteous and professional.

Description of Work: Provider was very prompt in setting up the computer clean up and we connected very well on the phone. He hooked up to my computer and started the process and worked for about 30 minutes. He seemed to be doing very well. He told me to shut my computer down and start it back up so he could complete the clean up process. My computer would not turn back on. We tried several times over a few days but nothing worked. He told me I must have a hardware a problem and if I wanted to file for a refund he would not oppose it.

Description of Work: I really needed a computer tune up. It was easy to do this over the phone. After about a half an hour they were done.

Description of Work: Purchased deal for $55 for computer cleanup. Mike's contact email was received timely and I was able to schedule an appointment with him quickly. Unfortunately the cleanup took more than the hour included in the deal so had to pay an additional $85. Since the work, computer is moving faster as all of the unnecessary programs were removed. Would contact Mike again with any issues.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, it didn't go well, and I feel as though the experience made things worse. The gentleman made the computer lock up and then advised me that I should take the computer to someone else for fixing.

Description of Work: Mike did a great job conducting a tune-up of my desktop computer remotely. He was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and informative. He told me what to do to prevent some problems in the future. The agreed-upon service period expired while the remote tune-up was going on, since he discovered several problems which took some additional time to fix, ao Mike gave me a discount off his usual hourly rate so he could complete the tune-up. I was very pleased with the service. |

Description of Work: My computer was not connecting to the internet. They found a virus on it and removed it, installed a program for me to run periodically to catch virus in future. I would have given them a higher rating since they told me they would call me when they found out the problem and give me a quote prior to doing the work. They did not. They also said they would call me the next day with this information and after several day went by, I had to call them to find out what the status was.

Description of Work: Had a phone appt - was 30 minutes late. Did apologize. Computer cleanup was more than an hour so extra $85, but when you're already in the cleanup for an hour, what do you do? He actually spent about 2 1/2 hours. Computer still freezes on occasion, but is better. When you're not computer savvy, you are kind of innocent when buying service.

Well, Mike goes above and beyond expectations. | |He worked on my computer well beyond the one hour tune-up paid for, but he did not charge me extra. Description of Work: I had a number of issues with my desktop ASUS Windows 8.1 computer from---continual pop-ups; couldn't connect to my Comcast Outlook e-mail; etc. I had previously installed new Bit Defender and Auslogics which I paid for to prevent malware. I considered taking my system to an IT group to fix, but not only would the system be heavy for me, a 62 year old woman, but having done that before, I knew the price could also be a lot. I looked into Angie's List and found that Mike would work on the system "remotely" and would explain things on my level! He charged me $130 for 1.5 hrs and worked 4 hrs.---great guy!! I never had to leave my den, and the system worked again.
