Mike's Computer Repair

Mike was able to clean the computer & remove 3 of the 4 viruses from the computer. Mike spent a good amount of time cleaning & removing the viruses. He is very good at his work. I would recommend Mike for any computer problems you may have.

Unfortunately he could not fix the problem, but gave me advice on what to do about it, what steps to take and what I should consider replacing or buying to solve my problem He was very profess1onal and helpful and I would not hesitate to call him again. A great resource without having to lug your computer to a store. Thank you Mike!

It went very well. Mike responded very quickly to my request for help in spite of the fact that it was a holiday weekend. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and professional -- and patient -- and he persisted until the problems were solved. Moreover, he is a pleasant and congenial person to deal with, while remaining focused on the task at hand. I found the whole experience to be pleasant and constructive. Mike Loren was excellent and did a great job in tuning up my computer. He found two serious computer viruses that were giving my computer operating problems. The speed in downloading has been increased substantially. Mike also eliminated unwanted programs.

My Toshiba laptop froze and then stopped working on Saturday. Mike took my call immediately and I dropped the laptop off Saturday afternoon and I picked it up today and it works fantastically. The price was right and the service was even better than that

My computer was infected with malware that was causing most searches to be hijacked to other websites. Having recently received notice from Angie's List of the "Big Deal" for a computer tune up, I called Mike. I was somewhat skeptical of his ability to fix the problem remotely, as I had used a local computer shop to address these kinds of problems in the past. Mike explained that while removing the malware was not part of the tune up deal, he could fix the problem. I logged on and gave him remote access to my computer. He informed me that running the scans could take a few hours, but that he would call me back when it was done. He called back in about an hour, having solved the problem. Mike was very pleasant, patient and easy to deal with, and offered several recommendations for improving my computer's security and performance. Although I did not qualify for the "Big Deal" rate, the cost was considerably less than what I would have paid locally, and I avoided both the hassle of having to disconnect my computer and lug it to the shop, and also the inconvenience of being without my computer for a couple of days. I would highly recommend Mike for this type of service.

Mike was very knowledgeable, very prompt and most gracious. I would highly recommend his services. I will certainly contact him when I am ready to purchase my next computer. I just learned my current computer is 11 years old, wow! Great experience with Mike. I know very little about computers and he was very helpful.

First of all, Mike was prompt and knowledgeable. However, I got the impression that he just wanted to do a basic tuneup for a discounted Angies List price ($55). He did not address the more complex issues I had. Still having problems with Windows and ie9 (random shutdowns and problems downloading certain files). I would have liked him to take more time delving deeper into specific issues.

We had a computer that we needed up and running again in a hurry. Mike answered the phone right away, I was able to bring the computer in right away and it was ready the very next day. Mike was courteous and professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He even fixed a problem that we didn't feel could be!

I contacted Mike by phone. He set up an appointment by returning my call. I gave him access for a remote scan of my computer. It was really running slow and wouldn't give him complete access. He performed the tasks that he could and gave me the names of some free and paid programs that may help if I run them. He said to call him if there is something I don't understand. It went smoothly and was not his fault he couldn't complete the actions he wanted to do.

The repairman promptly removed the malware, as agreed. Because it destabilized the system, he had to reformat it. He told me he would do so for the same price we agreed just to remove the malware. I insisted on paying him more, as he was devoting quite a bit more effort than originally thought.

Great service and info, will use again in the future.

I purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal," got my receipt and called Mike right away. We scheduled an appointment for that evening. He sent me the link to download the requisite remote access software and he was availalbe to begin the session at our appointed time. He asked relevant and appropriate questions and then released me while he did a one-hour tune up. The tune up showed that the computer -- nearly five years old -- was in fact running very slowly, tied directly to a rapidly failing hard drive. While it was not the news I wanted, it confirmed my own suspicions. Mike offered to provide some guidance when I began to search for a new computer, and I will certainly take him up on that offer. Overall, this was an excellent experience. Mike could not have been more cordial, prompt and respectful.

It went great. This was our third call to Mike. The first call by my wife Pat was to locate the best remote repair person in the US. She used Angies List and talked to several potential repair services. Mike in Mesa Arizona impressed her the most (we live in Springfield, IL). I called him a week later seeking advice on a gaming laptop I was going to have assembled by Toshiba. He thought the electronics I selected were good, but that I might not want the Norton virus software that came with a 30 day trial. I called him a third time after I had the pc for about a week. I had used remote access with a previous repair service, so downloading Mike's access programming was a snap. In an hour he had uninstalled the Norton and installed a virus software that he felt was faster. He only charged for the last call and remote work.

Great...Mike worked on his own and I didn't have to stay on the phone the whole time. It was a great experience.

I called Mike to schedule an hour long session and left a message. Mike returned my call within half an hour. We agreed to start the session immediately. He began by remotely taking over my computer, he asked me some basic questions and said he'd call be back in about an hour. Before the hour was up Mike called back to report his findings. There were a couple issues that Mike described to me and how to solve the issues. I will us Mike's service in the future.

Mike was very quick to respond to my purchase of the good deal, and he also was lenient when I was unable to schedule an appointment right away. We made the appointment and he performed the clean-up as promised, plus he gave some tips on what to look for in my next computer.

I contacted Mike the day I purchased the coupon & he put me on his schedule for later that evening. He was very professional but not condescending like many IT professionals I've worked with. He was very patient with me & was very thorough in answering any additional questions I had.

Mike scheduled me for an appointment right away and was very helpful. He clearly explained what to do so that he could gain remote access to my computer. He checked all the areas on my computer and did updates as needed. I was having trouble sometimes getting the "blue" screen and he was able to fix that problem. Another problem I was having is that my cursor will randomly go somewhere else in the text as I'm typing and I'm still having this problem. I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong in my typing, or if it's an issue with the computer or the mouse, so, I was hoping that Mike would be able to help me figure out what is causing this problem. Other than that issue, Mike was great.

I live in PA so my first thought was to contact someone locally to work on my computer. After searching for a while I started readiing the reviews for Mike, I was very impressed. Contacted Mike in AZ, he got back to me immediately. Mike was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk with, spent time and explained everything and now my computer is much faster. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike to any of my friends or family.
