Mike's Computer Repair

I had bought a $50 promotion from Angie's list....all went well, but when I asked him to do the second computer, he charged me $85.....I wouldve been happy if he charged another $50 being that I was repairing 2x.

Mike called me back to repair my computer and when i told him the problemes and the operating system, and the age He recomended i do what i explained that i have a fairly new laptop to hookup and use the monitor, keyboerd/mouse and eliminate the old desktop.

It was great!!! I didn't have to leave my house or bring my computer to someone else. He fixed all of my issues in an hour. If you are having computer issues this is a much easier way to get it fixed. In the past I have had to take it and leave it with someone, sometimes for a couple of days.

Mike was able to fix the problems with our computer remotely so we didn't have to take it to a shop and leave it for repairs. Our computer was fixed the same day we called about it; Mike was very responsive. This is the quickest I've ever had my computer repaired. From the time I first called to report the problems until the computer was up and running again: total time elapsed was only 3 hours! In the past, I've had to take my computer to a shop and wait several days to get it back so this was an awesome experience. I'd definitely call Mike again and highly recommend him.

My computer was running very slowly, so I decided it needed an "overhaul." Mike said he cleaned all the drives and deleted things I didn't need. However, computer did not run much, if any, faster. Mike said it was my providers (AT&T) fault. Mike said there was nothing wrong with my computer. Ok. So I called AT&T, who also accessed my computer from long distance, and they said it wasn't their fault...it was my computer. The bottom line is that my computer still runs slow.

He was very helpful. In my particular case, the virus had gotten into certain nicks and crannies of my system that was beyond what Mike could do. He worked extra time trying but didn't charge me extra. He was very prompt and courteous and I will call on him again. Highly recommended. BTW. He did all the work by remote access to my computer.

He cleaned the computer remotely. Everything was explained to me and he called promptly, through out the whole process as each step was completed. He went through each step, explaining everything, and how long it might. He made suggestions and recommendations on how I might keep the computer running smoothly . He was very professional, and pleasant to talkto.

Mike was great! My new computer was not functioning, multiple problems with speed, pop-ups, etc. Mike was able to correct all problems remotely and gave me additonal information to avoid these issues in the future. Went a little over the inital price, but the result was worthwhile and I am a happy customer who will refer his services to friends and family.

Mike was amazing. I had taken it to Data Doctors and got a quote. They quoted $230 to do exactly the same thing that Mike did for $85! And Mike even gave me some more pointers on increasing my internet speed, etc. I will deinitely be calling Mike the next time I have a problem with any of the computers in our home!

It was great. He was a really nice guy. He wasn't able to fix our computer but he gave us the name of the people who did. We were pleased with him. I think if he were to do what we needed him to do, we would definitely use him again. I was very pleased with the service. He was very personable and quick.

Mike called me right back after our initial phone conversation. Pointed out issues with my DSL service who is coming today to look at my lines. Work was done in time promised and for amount listed in Angie's list deal.

Everything went smoothly. I called Mike, and we set up an appt. at my convenience. He explained what he was going to do and called me back with the results of the tune-up in about an hour. He explained various functions of my computer and made suggestions for use. Altho I wasn't experiencing any problems that made a tune-up necessary, I liked having a check-up and would do so again. Nice service!

My HP laptop was at times, slow to load in web browsers, Word, pictures, etc. Sometimes, without warning, I'd be redirected to a web page I hadn't request. Just really strange things were happening. The problems were becoming so bad we no longer used the laptop anymore. After running numerous computer virus scans and using diagnostic cleaning tools, to no avail, I threw in the towel and contacted Mike. Mike was very quick to answer and provided easy instructions to allow him to service the computer remotely. Having found numerous malicious viruses and finding they were pretty much impossible to delete, a complete wipe out (my term) was necessary. Mike reinstalled the entire system, drivers, antivirus software, web browsers, etc.. He also saved and reloaded all of my pictures and any documents I may have wanted to keep. His turnaround time is extremely fast. I've had this same process performed on some earlier computers with different vendors and it would take a week to get the computer back, along with a very fat bill to boot. Mike came to the house in the afternoon to pickup the computer (gotta love front door service) and returned the computer the following day. Can I just say, "Wow!" The laptop is humming along beautifully. No hiccups any more, no more redirects, no more lockups. Thank you Computer Mike.

The whole process went very smoothly. I contacted him, made an appointment with him for the following day, and called him at the time we agreed upon. He did everything he had to do at his end and called me back when he was finished. He found that the problem was with my internet provider and suggested I call them with the results of the test he ran. He said if I had any problems when I contacted them he would be available for a 3-way call so he could explain the situation. When I called and spoke with them they found a problem with the wiring connection. I have an appointment with them to resolve the situation.

My computer went down on Sunday. I contacted Mike via phone on Sunday afternoon around 2 pm. I had a working computer at home by 7 pm. His repair was obviously beyond responsive, yet the price was very reasonable. I will definitely go to him in the future for computer repairs.

I purchased the basic computer repair. As soon as I purchased it, I received an e-mail with instructions to call and set up an appt. When I did I was immediately at ease and knew I had found the right person. H e found my computer had many viruses on it, cleaned them up, upgraded my browser I think and then diagnosed my main problem of the internet provider---my Verizon hotspot was refusing access to the internet 67% of the time and kicking me off the internet. I admit to not being internet savvy, do not understand all the terms and so forth but I do know this man knows what he's doing and am very grateful for his patience and expertise. It took about 2 hrs to get everything done, much more than the basic package I purchased---he charged me only $25 additional because I lost my job about 2 weeks ago. I will definitely recommend him to my friends, Thanks so much Mike.

Mike immediately answered phone and had me download remote software. He worked with me to determine that I would need onsite service to help with my computer problem. He didn't charge for his consultation or remote access, and referred me to another Angie's List computer repair service. Thank you Mike for your help!

I was impressed with his knowledge, timeliness and proficiency.

Very prompt and traveled to north Scottsdale. Made suggestions for improvements of home set up and returned a call by late afternoon about results on the computer. Will use him in the future and will recommend to others

Mike of, Mikes Computer Repair, was very knowledgeable, informed, efficient, prompt and completely professional as well as making it feel not so overwhelming for a technically challenged person like me. It didn't take as long as I thought it would and it was a very positive experience, He is now my "go to guy" for any problems I may encounter in the future. I purchased the $55.00 deal on Angie's List for the computer tune up through Mike Loren computer shop. He was very professional from the very beginning. Unfortunately, my computer required much more than the tune up and Mike explained all my options before doing any work. The thing I appreciated the most was, that I never felt he was pressuring me into anything. In addition to the great customer service, he explained everything he was doing to my computer. He also explained to me how to disconnect from the meet me line, should I feel he was in places he shouldn't have been on my computer. As I stated my computer required much work and Mike spent more than the allotted hour correcting my issues and still only charged me the $55.00 deal rate. Thanks Mike! I certainly will be using your services in the future for all my computer needs.

Everything went exactly as expected. Mike emailed me back immediately after I purchased the "Angie's list deal", and we set up the time and day for Mike to work on my computer. He was punctual, professional, and remotely fixed my computer in the time frame that he said he would. I have saved his contact information in my phone, in case I need any work done to my computer. It was so much easier than packing my computer up and taking it somewhere. With Mike doing the work remotely, I could watch as he worked on my computer, so I knew exactly what was going on.

Picked up computer at my home, and removed the "Babylon Virus" that was wiping out my computer with every key stroke. Continued to consult over telephone on other computer problems. Intelligent, articulate, knowledgeable, and customer oriented with good problem solving skills.
