Mike's Computer Repair

Mike was very helpful. He made sure I didn't need the programs he was going to uninstall. He told me to call back if I had issues at all. My home screen looks less cluttered, and computer is running much faster.

My computer had a virus which allowed it to boot, but immediately froze up. I contacted Mike and explained the problem. He worked with me for about 45 minutes, trying a number of things to access the machine. Unfortunately, nothing worked as the machine eventually got to a point that it would not even boot. Despite working with me for so long he refused to accept payment for his services. I was ready to quit after 10 minutes but he refused until he exhausted everything he knew to do ... then wouldn't take payment. It's rare to find someone such as this these days. I would highly recommend him and will certainly use him should I have any future problems. I can't speak highly enough about his professionalism.

Mike was able to work on my computer the same day I called and made sure my computer was running good before he finished. He was very professional and worked on my computer the whole time he was logged in. I am very pleased with the results.

I was continuing to get pop up advertisements on my computer making it difficult to do any internet browsing or work on my home PC. I called Mike who responded right away, was able to e-mail instructions to remote into my computer and resolve the issue. He delivered as promised, was professional and courteous, explained things thoroughly and I would use him again should any issues arise with my computer.

I didn't catch the word remote; and he wouldn't be able to come to my home. He was very nice.

Great service, even helped me on a Saturday. Friendly, courteous, expedient. We had a six hour time difference, also I was afraid to let some one "inside" my computer from a remote location. Then I thought that Angie's list would not let someone with ulterior motives e on their list. He fixed the glitches and my computer is running much faster now. Don't be afraid to use.

Mike worked for several hours (remotely) on my PC. Although he was unable to fix my problem, he did, in the process, make my computer run better. He did not charge me anything.

Mike goes up and beyond providing an awesome service. I am technology challenged on a good day, so it was nice to deal with a professional that was down to earth, kind, patient and overall outstanding at his job. I need to update my desktop (it's only 10 years old, lol) and he offered to help me with my purchase. In the mean time, he got me up and running... I WILL call on him again.

Set up a time to meet via phone. He was right on time and worked even longer than he was supposed to complete my update. Mike is a solid guy and he gave me some good advice in what to look for in a future computer.

Everything went very well. Mike is very polite and knowledgeable.. We talked about what I needed done, then he took over and fixed everything he could do. Then we discussed various useful apps and future purchases.

The service was great. I did not have a lot done because my computer was old and so I ended up finding out that I really needed to purchase a new one, but he did a really great job. He was explaining it all to me and cleaning up what he could on my old computer. My computer was the same. He answered my questions. I could not update my old system anymore so I had to buy a new computer. He did tell me that if I went to buy a new one that if I wanted to call him that I could and he would help me if I needed any help in deciding. I thought he was very friendly and helpful. He explained things where somebody who is not a computer person could understand it. He did not come here physically. He just got on the computer from his end. He was not located anywhere near me. It was real fast. It was within a few days. There was no additional charge to the $55 Big Deal. He got right with me and I would use him again in the future.

Mike's Computer Service is a professional and knowledgeable computer technician. Unlike many others in this industry, he seems honest and is not out to sell you anything other than for the work performed and the time to complete these tasks. If you do not have time to take your machine to a local on-site technician and need online support I highly recommend Mike as your solution. He is price competitive with local techs and did a great job in correcting my problems remotely. As a small business it is not easy to relinquish your computers for any length of time, which is normally required by local techs (4 to 5 day wait periods). Mike was able to accommodate me quickly and I was able to avoid a long wait period and the inconvenience of transporting my machines. I am confident that the work was done well and would not hesitate to recommend him. I will definitely call on Mike in the future with any computer issues. As a small business owner it is imperative to have access to a good and reputable computer technician in the event of problems. I feel I have found that with Mike's Computer repair.

Although Mike only charge me for an hour and one half, the job to close to seven hours. Mike kept at it , including a power outage on my end. A pleasure to deal with and I never felt talked down to!

He did pretty good and my computer definitely passed through. It did end up costing more than what I expected but he told me upfront that anything beyond the certain time, he was like $85 an hour, would be charged. It did take an hour beyond the original purchase time. So it cost me an additional $85 but it?s still not my priority thing. So I paid $55 for the big deal and then $85 for the additional hour. I will recommend this service because it did improve the speed of my computer and he recommended a couple of anti virus program and it seems to work very good and they are cheap. I got good advice from him regarding my computer so I will recommend him. He called me the same day I purchased the big deal and I think he came the following day or two days after but it may have been my fault.

The process of cleaning my computer of all the bad stuff that invades our computers took virtually all day, as Mike indicated that it would. However he ALSO indicated at the beginning of the process that his charge would be no more than the $130 representing 11/2 hours of his time! He was true to his word. Computer is all clear and the charge was exactly as he said it would be. I would highly recommend his service to anyone and I am sure I will use him again!

He did a wonderful job and cleaned up my computer. It is running faster and I feel very confident that he did an excellent job. This is the second time I have used him (first was 2 yrs. ago) and feel he is, indeed, an A-Rated Business. He is honest about what he can and cannot do, makes suggestions and very responsive.

Given the problems, I did not go back to this service but took my desktop to a local company which managed to get it back in working order. I think that the problems with my desk top were just more than could be handled in one hour and that is what the deal paid for...I do appreciate that the company did not try to talk me into spending more. I would not recommend if it is for a system like mine that is still on Windows XP ( I am holding out to see the newest Windows release and how it works before I make a change). It is possible that this company could be a good deal for a system that is more stable.

Went great, Mike made it very easy for me as I am somewhat computer illiterate.
