Mike's Computer Repair

I didn't really like it. He did a bunch of stuff but I didn't see any improvement at all. He did it on another computer and I saw no improvement at all. I did pay a little more to get another computer done. I do remember spending money and thinking it was a waste of money. It did not help at all. He tried.

I do not have any don't because I have only dealt with at&t and directv with issues. they are usually rude always want the computer completely rebooted like a person does not know that take hours. He ask me my problems and fix any thing he thought would harm my computer. explaining why every time. He was a total professional and that is the kind of service I should have been given by the others. Great Experience would recommend him to others.

MIKE WAS VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. GAVE ME GOOD INFO THAT I COULD USE IN THE FUTURE AND TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING WITH MY COMPUTER. HE TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS TO ME IN A WAY THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO FRIENDS.

Mike is great! In addition to the $55 special, he did a lot of free work for me and gave me good advice, as i had been having a great deal of trouble with my computer for many months prior to contacting him..

Almost immediately after I completed arrangements for the deal, Mike called me and set up a schedule for the tune up. He provided a program for me to install on my computer that allowed him to access it remotely - with my permission. This made everything go quickly when the tune up began and can be used in the future when I again need his services. (I expect to need his expertise again as I intend to purchase another computer in the near future and will need help in setting it up properly right at the beginning. A proper set up will likely avoid "glitches" in the future.) In addition to fixing my computer problem, Mike gave me advise on how to improve my backup procedures and other helpful tips on routine computer maintenance. By purchasing this deal on Angie's List, I have, at small expense, located a really competent computer service provider who took care of my immediate problem of a five-year-old computer needing a serious, expert cleanup - and I now plan to use his services in the future as needs arise. My computer issues can be solved remotely and at reasonable prices - without the need for me to purchase expensive contracts or search further for the appropriate expertise. Mike exhibits an excellent combination of customer care/education and computer "savvy." Not always found in one package!

Mike's diagnostics found the source of the problem - two significant mal-wares (along with a number of minor problems)- and he corrected the same. Computer runs great. One needs to read the "Fine Print". The $55 charge only includes one hour - a time frame in which it is highly unlikely Mike can complete his process. Subsequent time is billed at $85/hour, but Mike capped the extra billing at one hour (in spite of the fact that it went over this time). Mike is very professional and, given the results, well worth the $140 cost. I would use him again.

Service was good but ended up costing more than advertised special.

Mike did a great job in getting our computer working like new. I couldn't believe the increase in performance in speed. We will definitely be calling on Mike again.

I called Mike and he was able to help me right away. I downloaded a program so he could access my computer and now it it running much faster.

Very well. Mike is knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a clear explanation of all issues he uncovered. When it became clear that addressing all those issues and thoroughly evaluating the results would take care than the amount of time initially allocated he gave me a detailed accounting of likely additional costs and a full understanding of the options: to proceed or not proceed, and the limited implications of choosing not to proceed. When we agreed to move forward he worked to minimize additional time costs. And -- the result was excellent. A very slow computer is running -- consistently -- much faster. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike's services.

I made an appointment with Mike for 5:00 p.m. Mike worked on the laptop for about 2-3 hours and got it back up to speed, with a boot time of less than 5-minutes. Mike found a ton on unnecessary programs and unfortunately lots of malware. Great job - I have my trusty Dell back,

I am a professional editor and copywriter, and I usually have two documents running and one browser. I need two more monitors. He discussed the specs required, since my computer only has 4 Gs of RAM. Here's the thing: I sent him an email at around 5:26 p.m. expecting to hear from him the next day or so. He replied within an hour. We set up the appointment. It was for 1:00 the next day. He was e x a c t l y on time. We agreed on the scope of work beforehand. He solved the problem. And he told me candidly that my computer didn't have enough RAM for what I wanted to accomplish. In the meantime, though, the malware is off my computer and it works like new. This is the second time I have retained him and he's the best.

It went well, after initially spending a couple of hours working remotely, my son had a positive experience with the "blue screen" not recurring again for a couple of weeks. When it did start returning again, Mike gave my son instructions of something else he could do to correct the issue and so far he has had no further issues. Mike did not charge us for advising the 2nd time.

I called Mike and within the hour he called me back and he started the repair process remotely. I didn't have to do anything but stay in the comfort of my own home and let Mike do all the work. Within a couple hours, my laptop was functioning like new! Thanks Mike!!!

This is the third year we have used Mike. He is extremely fair with price. He has a maximum he charges (1 1/2 hrs) and went well over that this time. Mike is thorough. He went through the computer several time. He provides useful information and explanations. I am not particularly computer literate, but feel comfortable with his professional and understandable help.

He checked the computer and found a bad malware. Which could not be fixed remotely. He ran a complete check and his total time ran over the hour because of the malware check but he did not charge me extra because he could not fix it for me. He told me a ahead of time there might be an extra charge which I appreciated but did not charge me because the problem was not fixed.He was very professional and helpful. I would definitely call him again and I would recommend him.

Couldn't have been better. Mike went on one computer, cleaned it up and started a Malware scan and while that scan was underway, got on the other computer to do the same. His efficiency was exceptional. Mike also helped me with network issues; he seems to know a lot about everything.

Mike did a good job of telling me upfront how the tune-up would be conducted, what his normal protocol and process would be, asked me what in particular my goals were, then he began the tune-up. It took longer than he expected, but he continued on til his process was complete and all my questions were answered. He did an excellent job, and I will use his services again.

Purchased in the morning and made appointment for later in the day. He called 2 hrs early and wanted to know if I was ready. That was great. Took a liitle over an hour but not enough to be charged.

(See above also). Mike was easy to work with and helped me with addtional issues such as with my address book and invited further contact if needed. I had reason to phone him a few days later with a printer issue with which he was willing to help. I found him to be willing and congenial to handle my computer issues and gave me an opening to utilize his services further for a reduced cost because of this initial service.

Mike did a great job and went over time to make sure the job was done right! My computer is much quicker and programs are running smoothly again.

He responded to my request for an appointment within hours. He helped me figure out what went wrong with my computer. He solved the problem rapidly. His demeanor was professional, as well.

Mike was very responsive and explained clearly what he was doing during his remote connection with my computer. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Mike fixed my computer. He has excellent communication skills and was able to explain clearly exactly what he was doing so that i could learn and understand more about the problem he fixed. Mike spent a long time working on my computer. I would use his service again.
