Rep came out and determined the fireplace (I had not used it since moving in) needed some repair, so he was unable to do the maintenance required. However, he gave me a lot of information and quotes on a variety of options. Since he was unable to fulfill what I had paid for, I asked Angie's List for a refund. At first, they refused because it was past their time limit for a refund. I pointed out that the company was unable to service me within the time frame required, so they were going to give me a credit, which is not what I had asked for. I had to get a little tough with Angie's List to get them to finally make this right and refund the $89 to my card, but they finally did it (which they should have done right away). So, my problem was not with the company. The only problem I had with them is how far they were booked out, which created the refund problem when they were not able to fulfill what I had paid for (which wasn't their fault either).

The quality of service, and the information that they provided with their bid as to what they were going to do stood out. They had competitive pricing. They were very quick to get everything taken care of. We had them come back when the system went out in our rental house as well.

Tech was good, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He explained everything to me.

He was a very nice young man. It went very well. I purchased additional glass and pebbles to light up the fireplace. Everything worked out very well. I had no dislikes. He explained things to me. I was very happy with him.

Prompt, friendly, great service

It was okay. It wasn't worth the money. It wasn't worth it for what they did. It was supposed to be a tune-up but they just did the cleaning on the outside of the unit. There were no extra charges. It's a required service. They didn't do what I wanted them to do.

I chose 4 companies with the highest Angie's List ratings & invited each over to explain the A/C systems they sale, their pricing, installation, etc. Three of the companies spent a considerable amount of time telling me why I should not choose the other companies (I had pamphlets from each company sitting on my table so they knew who their competition was). Magic Touch (Rich Morgan) only told me why I should choose his company. He never said a negative word about the others. I admire that & put a lot more confidence in a company who can sell themselves & not rely on dissing the others. The representatives from the other companies were also very much salesmen & had never installed a system themselves. Rich, from Magic Touch, is the president of the company & obviously "grew up" in the business, so to speak. He's done installations. He knew the answers to my questions & knew how to explain it well - even to me who knows nothing about A/C units except how to change a filter. Magic Touch wasn't the cheapest (or the most expensive) but Rich left me feeling that Magic Touch (and him personally) has every confidence in the system I purchased & will stand behind their installation. Many hours of research lead me to the conclusion that choosing the right company to install the system was far, far more important that which unit was installed. Magic Touch does not contract work out. That was important to me. The three workers who showed up to remove the old/install the new & seal the vents were courteous, professional, & respectful while their work required them to work in the garage, back yard, & inside for most of the day. Upon completion of the job, they cleaned up well, walked me through what they had done, pointed out certain things & explained certain things. They went through operation of the programmable thermostat several times & left the owners manual. Within just a day or two I received an email with two APS rebate forms filled out. They requested I sign & return them to Magic Touch so they (not me) would be responsible for sending all the correct info required by APS. Based on service so far, I recommend Magic Touch for heater/ac purchase & installation.

The service tech was on time and extremely courteous. He wore protective shoe coverings and laid down plastic when taking the fireplace front off of the wall. Inspected the flu, incoming gas line, the burners and cleaned all of the parts. He Even cleaned the inside of the glass with the special solvent. He insured me that he checked all of the moving parts and that it was installed properly. I was very satisfied with the service and would hire them again.

Two of the units were put by them eight years ago when we did our remodel. They were $15000 units each. In today's standards they're not the top of the line anymore, years ago they were and they are phenomenal. units. The company overall is fantastic. There's been some turnover that doesn't make me very happy because they've lost some really good guys. The challenge we have with them right now is; we did a major remodel eight years ago and then four years ago we did another addition to our house and they had to add some air conditioning and stuff like that. We gave them a criteria, we don't want these rooms hot, we've had issues with rooms in this area being warm before, you're pushing the house out more and we don't want them warm. You have one shot to do it because they can't get back in there, there's no crawlspace. We want to make sure its going to turn out right. When their designer came in they did all the drawings and all the leg work on it. They promised us that everything would be great and now it sucks and we've had nothing but problems with them on that area. They won't come clean on it. They really need to work with us on that and own up to the fact that they made a mistake. They need to fix it. We're working with the owner right now. He's a little difficult. We really like them for their units and their service guys are fantastic but this area we're having a problem with them. We're loyal. We don't hop around. We've gone back. We refer people to them all the time. They don't call around and they don't solicit. They're not like that and I think that's why we like them.

The two guys were surprisingly customer service focused and I was impressed on how they handled themselves. They even could have charged me to look at a fire pit that was not working, but it was a simple fix and they said it was not right to charge me. I would highly recommend them.

It was fine. They were very knowledgeable about what they were doing. My fireplace was built with stones around it after the it was put in so they couldn’t get the cover off. They spent 2 hours to get it to light up and to make sure it worked. They also showed me how to clean it in the future. Two technicians came out.

Everything turned out well. The gentleman arrived on time, was courteous and friendly, and did a fine job in all respects. Furthermore, he extend an offer for additional services, but he didn't pressure me to buy them which I appreciated.

I didn't need their services, I ended up installing the insulation myself. It went fine and it was good. They were friendly.

They were good. We were happy with them. They were on-time and did what they needed to do.

They did a great job cleaning my chimney.

I requested for them to clean the gas logs, then start the pilot light. The young man came on time and cleaned the logs and started the pilot. He said there was too much soot to safely light the logs. He looked and found a crack in the flue and the concrete base of the heater. He said it could not be used because of this. I signed off on the work for the deal and I already paid but now it can't be used. Before he did the cleaning and lighting the pilot light he should have told me before he did the service since it would be of no use since the log fireplace is not usable.

Travis called me early on...he was to be there between noon and 4 pm. He called around ten to let me know he was on track. He showed up on time. He was very professional and got to work...he did a diagnostic and figured out the problem straight away. He had the fireplace working (gas fireplace electric ignition) in no time flat. He then cleaned up the fireplace glass and vacuumed any loose residue. I was very very impressed and that guy Travis is a keeper, refreshing and I think I got more than my money's worth. I will not hesitate to recommend them. A Neighbor was present and he too thought Travis was outstanding. Give them 5 out of 5 stars.

They were very cooperative with me. I didn?t need the inspection and that?s fine. Everything the company did was amazing.

Good service, great technical and fair price

Tech was very thorough and polite. Cleaned logs and scrubbed walls which were very blackened. Checked to make sure all connections were tight. Overall a good job for the price.
