Jeff was wonderful. Our original call was because we had lost water pressure to the downstairs faucetts. Jeff was able to fix that problem quickly. While here he checked the rest of the house and showed us the kitchen faucett was leaking. We had been looking at new faucetts so this forced us to make a decision and have Jeff back to install a new one. We also had all the outside hose bibbs replaced. It may sound silly, but it's so nice to turn on the hose and not have it leak. Will call again. Highly recommend!

I called them to check out a leaky shower problem I was having. The tech came out and seemed to be confused through most of it. He realized he needed new parts and reassembled my shower, at which point was no longer a gentle drop but a genuinely broken faucet that was constantly on. He promised to call me back the next day to discuss options. The next day I got no call back. I called the office around noon, and they had no status. I called again at four, and was told the warehouse was closed, but they absolutely promised that they'd call me at 8am sharp with a status update. The next day I called them at 9 and was promised a return call. At noon I called again, and they had "just" found the parts, and were about to call. Scheduled an appointment. At 2 I got a call that they didn't have ALL the parts and it was going to take 2 weeks to get them. Ended up calling another plumber after that who fixed it the day of. On the plus side, the reception staff was very sweet over the phone.

y)yService technician arrived on time, got to work and found the problem. Worked quickly and quietly and had everything completed in the appropriate time. Replaced a part in the floor that was damaged and had everything back together and better than original. Plumber (Jerry) came back next day (Saturday) to check bolts that everything was seated properly. Great job--will definetly use again!

Jesse took my call right away. He was able to come out the next day along with a company they use for detecting the location of the leak. They marked the spot and we scheduled a day for them to come out. They were quite sure that they located the leak and it was in my daughters bedroom under the slab. We had the furniture moved out and they came in the scheduled 2 hr. window. They got right to work. Jerry and Jack worked hard and they had to jack hammer and dig about 4 feet down. The leaking pipe was in the spot that the leak location specialist said it would be (just a bit deeper than anticipated). They took care to lay down plastic and protect the finishes in the room/ house. The work was completed on the same day. I just need to get my carpet put back and furniture back in place. I am thrilled at how friendly, knowledgeable and efficient the whole team was. I will definitely use J&H Plumbing again!

I'd give them an A+ if I could! Nothing like having 2" of sewage in your shower. Every time I flushed a toilet or turned on a faucet the shower would fill up more. Gross. I found J&H on Angie's list and called because of their great reviews - and I'm glad I did. They were at my house within 2 hours of my call. Dennis was terrific. He was professional, thorough and just plain nice. He came and did what needed to be done, was pleasant about it and mindful of the time he spent here which I appreciate. Plumbers' rates can be expensive! I thought the price was very fair - especially with the level of service I received.

These guys are good! When you need more than a plumber these are the experts. They tore out walls, rerouted plumbing and electric. Also the were up front about everything. I really ended up trusting Dustin and Jesse which is rare with contractors. Price was good. Not to much or to cheap. Quality work and they stick to what was quoted. If you have a big remodeling job that has lots of plumbing and electric I would highly recommend J&H.

It went very well, they brought in a company (Precision Locating) that detected the leak in the kitchen 2 feet below the slab. J & H proceeded to hang plastic down from my 12 foot ceilings so the entire area was draped off and they had to jack hammer a hole approximately 3 feet x 2 feet through my slab in order to get at and fix the leaking pipe. Once they located the pipe they cut out the damaged section and tested it to prove the entire leak was fixed. This was on a Saturday. Monday when the dirt had dried out they came back and filled the hole with the removed dirt, added rebar and then poured in concrete to repair the slab. The workers were professional and courteous. They arrived when they said they would and did a super job. I am highly impressed with their work and their pricing as very fair and reasonable for their efforts..

Everything went very smoothly and repairman even finished earlier than his quoted time frame to finish!

Jeff, the service technician was superb - right on time - his work was very professional - he kept me in the loop with what he was doing - would highly recommend J&H Plumbing based on my experience with Jeff - in addition, the person (Aloma?) who handled my call was very courteous and helpful

It went fine. Jerry was running a little late but he called me and I really appreciated that. When I called for service, I described the faucet I have now and wanted something similar. Jerry had a faucet with him that I liked so he replaced it, cleaned up and was done. He was friendly and knew what he was doing. Left my floor cleaner than when he arrived. The office staff was also friendly and, to the best of my knowledge, the price was right. I will definitely use J & H again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

They were very accommodating in getting me in right away. They shuffled their schedule and had it addressed within two hours. As a home owner and landlord, it's very comforting to get a problem as serious as a main leak fixed that quickly!

Discovered a rather significant leak this morning on the main water line into the house. I initially called another plumbing company, who we have worked with & were pleased with in the past. Discovered they were "slammed" today and could not give me a specific time to come (anytime between 9 am and 5pm!). Found J & H Plumbing from Angie's List and called them. What a difference from the time the phone was answered (after only 2 rings)! Jessica, immediately, after asking for information,(which included a request for a photo) got the owner, Jon, who was in the office. Although they too, were, "slammed," Jon assured me he or one of his crew would be out to us in the next 2 hours! He left me know that our anti-syphon valve was leaking, the turn off valve did not work and would need to be replaced. Jon (the owner) arrived, as he had indicated, completed the job promptly, and for the amount estimated! (Along with a $10 Angie's List Discount!) I am a believer and will now have J & H Plumbing as my first call when a plumbing issues arises. The other company has lost me as a customer. Jon performed this job in extreme heat- it was 111 degrees today! Job well done and I was not a regular customer!

J&H suggested blocking off all drains, except for a specific room, each night. Rather than bring a 'smoker', an appliance that helps detects leaks which would allow odors to back in...is time consuming and expensive, they requested we start with the drain block off of rooms, one by one. At the next day after doing the drain block and noting no odor, we also noted the Town of Gilbert was doing some work 4 houses down from us and there was a 'sewer odor'. We contacted J&H each day to go over the most recent drain block and pretty much concluded we did not need a plumber. J&H is a perfect example of a business with integrity and care for their customers. Rather than immediately come to our home for smoke test processing, we started with a day to day phone call and attempt to narrow down the culprit drain. I appreciate J&H Plumbing more than they can know. You will too.

Second time J&H was used. First was in January to repair water line. Line was fixed but leak occurred tha next day. J&H came out and completed the repair job. Was staisfied with work accomplished. July was unrelated repair and was taken care of quickly and efficiently. Repairman (Jeff) reminded me of discount when I mentioned Angie's!

I called Sunday evening requesting my wet bar sink be capped off after a recent leak. They needed to confirm if I was in their service area so they mentioned I would be called back in the morning. I received a call around 7:30am to book my appointment. They were able to come out the same day or whatever day I needed. I chose later that day and the plumber showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the work performed.

It went great. They were wonderful. It was a tricky job, and he took extra time to finish the job. It had me a little stressed out, and he put my worries to rest.

I first called J&H on a Saturday not realizing they weren't open. The folks who answered the phone took my information and said somebody would call me Monday. To my surprise somebody called me back that day. The gentleman explained they were closed on Saturdays but he felt it was important to respond to the text he received from the office. He certainly didn't have to call me back that day, but I appreciated his follow up. On Monday, I received a call just like they said on Saturday to set up my appointment. The day before my appointment I received a call to confirm my appointment. I was told that a representative would be out between 8am and 10am. The day of my appointment, Danny showed up at 8:30am. He was courteous and ready to get to work. I had emailed a picture of the problem (hot water value couldn't be turned off under the kitchen sink) earlier in the week so Danny already had some idea of the issue. He crawled under the sink and took a look around. He explained what he was going to do and why. He also made a suggestion regarding the other valve and why it might be a good idea to fix it too. I said great! He was done in an hour. I noticed that he cleaned the work space so you could even tell he was there...except of course the new work he did. Danny also asked if there was anything else I wanted him to take a look at while he was there. I appreciated this because he was willing to stay to fix something else if need be even though that wasn't the reason for the service call. The next night, my husband and I noticed a puddle of water under the sink. We found that one of the pieces that connected the pipe to the sink had broken. We weren't sure what happened and only knew it wasn't leaking before we had the valves changed. We took a picture of the break and sent an email to J&H. First thing in the morning we received a call from the company and said they would send somebody over right away to fix the problem. Neither my husband nor I could be there the next day, but schedule something for later in the week. Danny should up at 8am sharp and took care of the problem without charging us for the trouble even though we thought we should pay for parts and labor at least . He told us he was more concerned about keeping us as a customer and that the fix really wasn't a big deal. This told me that Danny and J&H Plumbing truly do stand by their work. I would definitely use this company again and would request Danny's services.

I called J & H Plumbing because my softwater tank was leaking. I talked with Jan who answered the phone; she told me Jessie would call to schedule a time. Jessie called approximately an hour later to tell me that Danny would be my technician and Danny would call me to let me know when he could arrive. Does it really take 3 people to schedule an appointment! Based upon what I told Jessie the problem was, he said it would be between $200 and $400 to replace the tank and replace any gaskets that may be worn in the head. When Danny arrived, he seemed very unsure about what he was doing. He then told me it would be $70-$100 for the tank plus $200 for labor ($105.00 per hour!). I asked about replacing the gaskets and he replied that would be extra money. I let him know my dissatisfaction about the differences between what Jessie quoted me and what he was quoting. Jessie told me it would be 1-2 days to get a new tank; Danny said it would be 3-4 days. Danny called me the next day to say there had been confusion between himself and Jessie about what was needed and the quoted price. Danny said it would be what Jessie quoted me. He then asked if I wanted to consider a new system; I asked how much; he had to call me back. Not wanting that huge up-front expense, I tried to confirm that the price would be between $200 and $400 and Danny said "yes" PLUS $200 labor. We were then back to the original dispute. I contacted another company.

We discovered J&H Plumbing through Angie's list, and engaged them after being impressed with their many positive reviews. We made the right choice! J&H Plumbing was able to successfully route a water line across our galley kitchen so we would not have to settle for a refrigerator without an ice maker. Additionally, they replaced our antiquated valves for our washer machine to prevent future problems due to corrosion. We were very pleased with J&H Plumbing and will definitely contact them for our future plumbing needs.

I haven't had any problems and very happy with their work.

The first appointment had to be rescheduled when the technician couldn't do the job by himself, but he and his helper returned later the same day and got the job done. They showed the results to my husband, who was very satisfied. We have used these people before and will call them again.

They were quick, cordial and professional. I would definitely use in the future.

He said he would see me that evening (late), but he never came, and never called. Here it is the next morning and still no word. I stayed home all day yesterday waiting for him, but like I said he never showed up.

On the afternoon of Dec. 30, 2012, the Sunday in the long holiday weekend, I discovered a substantial leak at one of the valves outside in front of the house where all the shut-off valves for the whole house and irrigation system are located. Using Angie's List's November, 2012 monthly issue, I called three plumbers late that afternoon. For the first two calls, either no one answered or the person who did respond to the on-call pager said no one would be available until Wednesday, Jan. 2nd. When I called J & H Plumbing, I described the problem and at what point along the pipes the leak was. I was advised that the on-call plumber, Jerry, would call me shortly as he was on another job. He did call about a half hour later and, when I had described what was leaking, he suggested I try turning off the nearest valve toward the main shut-off valve to see if it would stop the flow, and it did. Jerry said he would be out the next morning, New Year's Eve, between 8 and 10 am. He arrived promptly and replaced the leaking vacuum breaker valve. The parts' cost (165) was quite reasonable to me as was the labor charge (158)--short notice and prompt response on a holiday weekend--I was quite impressed and thankful. Jerry even took a couple of minutes to explain the function of the problem valve and what the different shut-off valves controlled. I told Jerry that J & H Plumbing would be my plumber from now on. I even received a $10 discount for using Angie's List. Jerry was prompt, professional, had the parts on his truck, and educated this customer on valve shut-offs.

I had purchased a new ball valve for the main shutoff at the side of the house. After several weeks, I never found the time to do the work myself, so I turned to Angie's List. I read the reviews and liked what I saw. I sent a picture via email to J&H and got a quote the same day. I scheduled the appointment, and Jerry came out right on time. The work Jerry did was excellent. I'm a stickler for quality and proper preparation. I didn't have to say a word. Jerry removed the old valve, properly prepared the copper pipe before installing the valve. The new valve was installed, so it is easy to operate, and the area was cleaned up afterward. I have no doubt the installation will last a long time. Excellent, excellent work! J&H honored the $10 discount and the job only cost me $98. I'm getting ready to use them again on another property we have. I'll write a review for that work as well.
