Description of Work: I explained a couple of different problems to Mike. He recommended that my lines be snaked and that would probably solve two of them. He seemed confident that it would be a fix, but I was skeptical. Well, he made me a believer. For many years the drains have run slow and backed up. Not any more! I actually hear the water running down the drain now, which is a first. Very pleased. | |Mike also put in a new garbage disposal which is working great. These two projects took about 2+ hours. I always hate paying the price for these kind of house fixes and would have been much happier if it cost half as much. That being said, I knew up front what it would cost, they were done competently and am happy with the end result. Mike also answered a number of other plumbing questions, which was very helpful.

Description of Work: They pulled "flushable" wipes from 4 different drains, camera in the line and showed there was not a damaged pipe under the house as incorrectly reported by Ben Franklin. Also installed clean out line outside the house to help with future issues.

Description of Work: A toilet upstairs overflowed causing large bubbles in the downstairs family room ceiling. I called on Monday, a holiday, and was assured that, although it looked like an emergency, it wasn't and that it would save me money to wait until Tuesday. Dustin arrived early that morning and fixed our "disaster". More importantly. he was knowledgeable about the repairs to the ceiling because mold can be a problem. This company is professional from first phone contact to service.

Description of Work: I had a problem replacing the flex line from the water to the toilet. It was frozen tight and I was concerned about breaking the line with too much force to unhook the line. I called J & H Plumbing who I had previously used and told them my problem. They said they would send out someone to fix my problem. The person was polite but failed to cover his shoes and walked through our living room into our bedroom to the bathroom on our carpet in both rooms. He saw the problem and was professional in repairing the line. All this took about 20 minutes. I also purchased the replacement line which he installed. Overall I could not say the person was not polite and he did correct my problem. However, no price was ever mentioned before the repair and when I received the bill I felt it very high considering the amount of work and time involved. I was willing to pay for a service call plus time involved and I felt a price around 80 to 90 dollars would be proper. I feel the amount I was to pay was far too much but I paid it and let it go. However, now that you want me to comment, I feel the above information should be told to you. I will again use J & H Plumbing but would suggest a different person to do the job, one who would show concern about peoples home and carpets etc.

Description of Work: Recently bought a house and the home inspection reported the water pressure too high , I hired a different plumber that installed a PCV but sprinkles stopped working, that plumber came back and suggested a different problems , I didn't trust and get into Angie's list and found J&H , immediately Paul (from J&H) found the problem the PCV had been placed backwards ,he also fixed a leaking pipe in the patio . I was happy the leak is fixed , the water pressure is fine and that my sprinkles are working
