Scott Hubbard arrived on schedule. He did a thorough inspection and was very helpful in pointing things out and explaining them. He also ran two tests for mold: one was an air test and one was a culture. He followed up promptly with the reports.

The inspection went very well; it took quite a bit of time since the house is fairly large. Scott's report was Delivered about 48 hours after inspection completion. My husband spent time with Scott while he was doing the inspection, he was very thorough and explained everything in "plain English"; it also helped us learn about the 'infrastructure' if the house, so very helpful. The inspection was scheduled within 24 hours of our first call, so very prompt.

I am selling my house. I wanted a home inspection report that I could post on line and have available at an open house to show potential buyers the condition of my house. Of course, I waited until the Tuesday before my Sat-Sun open house to remember the home inspection. I tooled around the web and tried to book an inspection with Homewerx on line, but was unable to do so due to some sort of server glitch on their part. When I called in, the scheduler was very helpful and apologized for my difficulty. They were able to schedule a Thursday inspection and promised to email me the results by Friday morning. Scott arrived on time as promised and was immediately at work. He dealt very well with the general chaos that was my home (kids, babysitter, painter, etc). After about 3 hours, he gave me a summary of his findings and promised to email the results. Which he did. I found the report to be very complete, with helpful high resolution color photographs. The report was very professional and well-formatted (no crazy underlining with all caps and different colors like some of the other companies I looked at!). I printed the report out myself and created a nice binder. Several of the looky-loos commented on the thoroughness of his inspection and the general presentation of the report. I believe the report helped cinch a quick deal with my neighbor, who is not planning another inspection. I would happily rehire Homewerx if I was buying in the valley, alas, we are moving to Seattle.

Both were on properties of which we had interest purchasing. The first inspection indicated many flaws. Communication with the seller was not satisfactory, so we canceled the escrow. The second inspection showed that we made a great choice and escrow closes this week. The inspections were scheduled and completed on a fast pace schedule and the extremely detailed reports were received in less that 24 hours as promised. There was a 10% discount when scheduled through the website home-werx.com which was nice too. I did and would continue to use homewerx the next time we need inspections services.

Scott from Homewerx is the best! He inspected our first house we built, and we liked him so much, we had him inspect our next house. He is VERY thorough, patiently explains issues, and lets you know things you should be concerned about versus cosmetic issues, but he makes sure he explains everything to you, no matter how minor the problem may be. His reports are also excellent, with clear explanations and photos of issues to make it easier to communicate with whoever will end up repairing the issue. Responsiveness with scheduling and follow-up questions is second-to-none- we always heard back within an hour or two. Scott is the only inspector we would ever use again.

Scott arrived on time and spent 3 hours on a Saturday doing a very thorough inspection of our entire home, inside and out. My husband walked around with him while he did the inspection, and he pointed out areas of concern to my husband as well as tips for maintenance of the home. He sent the report to us via email after just two days. It was very detailed and included pictures. We were very pleased with Scott and would recommend him to anyone!

Scott arrived on-time on a Saturday morning to accommodate my schedule, which I greatly appreciated since I had traveled to AZ from Florida. He did a thorough job, updating me as he went along through the house. He asked questions when necessary and replaced everything as he found it when he needed to move items to inspect. He wore booties on his shoes when he was in the carpeted interior; very impressive. Upon finishing, he took 15 minutes to describe his findings to me. I had his full report delivered by email in 24 hours, and he even refunded money to me when he realized he had overcharged me!

My husband and I met Scott about half way through the inspection. He was very personable and knowledgeable with how to make repairs. We asked him several questions and never felt like we inconvenienced or were wasting his time not to mention we appreciated the advice. We were also very impressed with the price. It was $317 for the inspection and $65 for the termite inspection. We scheduled the inspection on Tuesday and he was available to come out by Thursday. This company also has a great web site. I would defiantly recommend this company to everyone.

Excellent service at a competitive price. Scott was awesome and obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. His inspection was extremely thorough and he spent like 3 hours checking out the house. He took the time to answer all of our questions, even though my mom asked too many! We got the inspection report by email the next morning as promised. It was incredibly detailed but also very easy to understand with color photos. Very nice report! But I thought after she read the report, my mom would not buy the house. Even though it had many problems Scott explained most of the issues were typical for the age of the house. He explained what repairs were needed for each problem found and a rough idea of what the repair would cost. Even my mom was impressed with this company and she loves her house! Scott even lets her call and ask questions now that she's moved in.

YOU CAN ALSO CALL HIM ANY TIME WITH FUTURE QUESTIONS. HE IS LICENSED WITH THE APPROPRIATE ORGANIZATION ASHI. HIS PRICING IS ALSO VERY COMPETITIVE.
