The technician arrived with both appliances on time. He carefully removed each old appliance and installed the new appliance. In each case he allowed us to clean out the spaces behind the appliance (definitely needed) and completed a meticulous job of installing the new appliance and verifying that the new appliance was working. He also gave us a brief tutorial on how to use each appliance and offered good advice on how to protect the appliances as well as others in the home from damage that might result from sheet rock demolition during a modest remodel.

No response from provider to request for service.

They arrived at the scheduled time. They fixed the ice maker and clean up the freezer as well as the area on the counter that they used. They were very friendly and helpful and told me things I didn't know about the ice maker and the reverse osmosis system that I have in my house. I appreciated all the information that was given. I would definitely use them again if needed.

They arrived within the time frame they said they would, and evaluated and determined the problem very quickly. My oven needed a part that had to be ordered, so a second visit was required. They returned for the second visit and fixed the oven without issue. Very professional, polite and prompt.

Couldn't have asked for a better result. The twenty year old appliance is running in tip top shape in the garage. No need to look for a replacement.

Mike (the owner) knew right away that it was the door latch. Said it was an easy fix and the part was inexpensive. Fixed it right away and in a timely manner. Even called me the next working day to be sure all was working OK. Would definitely recommend Mike and his company.

I read all the accolades for Mike and thought too good to be true....He is true! What a delightful young man. He is an expert at repairs. He was prompt, polite and his charge for replacing the icemaker in my Maytag double door was very reasonable. He ordered the new part and applied what I had already paid to the new part and repair. A part was replaced, but the issue was not resolved. Mike said he would get another part and replace it at no cost to me. He kept his word and finished the job to my satisfaction. He is a man of his word and I would not hesitate to use him again!

I found East Valley Appliance on Angie's List and called them to repair a small leak from our washing machine. They came out and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part, then came back a few days later to replace the part. A couple weeks later, the washing machine began leaking again from the same spot. I called them and they came back out and diagnosed another broken part and ordered it. They replaced the part and about five days later it started leaking from the same spot but worse than ever. They came back out and found the problem and fixed it. Our washing machine is working great now. I gave them a B on punctuality only because there were a couple of times that they said they'd call and I had to call them but when an appointment was scheduled they were on time. This probably sounds like something that would not get As since the problem took several weeks and visits to fix. But from now on, East Valley Appliance is the only company I will call for any appliance repairs and I will strongly recommend them. Their customer service is second to none. After the first visit, they didn't not continue to charge me since it was obviously leaking from the same spot. Mike, the owner, worked with me directly and assured me they would find the problem for us. And they did. I will DEFINITELY call them again, should I have another appliance in need of repair!

Washing machine was not draining properly. The technician was able to diagnose the problem quickly and provide a couple of different options. He had knowledge of the model and issue. Ordered parts in case the more expensive option was required, but was able to complete the repair with less costly option.

The provider worked swiftly and thoroughly. He was very friendly and intelligent and had no problem answering our questions. When he was finished, he made certain he had all of his tools, any packaging and the old parts he had replaced.

They adjusted gthe price and were very fair.

He checked several items and waited for the clunk to occur. As luck would have it, it would not make the noise. The serviceman stayed about 20 minutes, but the fridge would not clunk on shutdown. Understandably, he couldn't diagnose the problem. He left and said he would come back if it started to clunk again, which it has. I will contact them to see if they can come back out.

My initial call was answered immediately. I was asked if we needed immediate assistance . When I said 'No' an appointment was made for the following day. I was also asked the brand and model of the dishwasher needing repair. The repairman (Josh) called before coming to our home. He was polite and professional,and diagnosed the problem as a worn motor. My husband asked if it would be less expensive to replace the dishwasher. Josh responded by saying that this dishwasher was 'top of the line' and would be expensive to replace. He added that it would last for many years. He added that he would have to order the replacement motor and made an appt. for the following week. Josh called the morning of the appt. to say he would be at our home in 30 minutes. He replaced the motor in the dishwasher and tested it to make certain it was fully operational. He vacuummed the area and washed the floor close to the dishwasher. Again, he was polite, pleasant , and professional. We were more than satisfied with this company and plan to use them in the future for all our appliance needs.

Repair was very expensive for a 13 year old washer. I bought a used replacement for rental property.

Very well. Arrived within his time window - called before arrival. No nonsense; got right to work. Knew what he was doing. Checked and cleaned the coils; adjusted the clip for the grill at the bottom of the fridge (that hides the coils). Liked this service provider a lot. Paid $95 for the service and $99 for the motor.

Josh stopped by to check out our Washing Machine. After inspection he did an estimate and then offered help to find a new Washer. The repair totaled what a new washer cost and Josh suggested we find a new one. Professional, honest, courteous and very helpful! I would not hesitate to use them again!

Mike (the owner of E.V. Appliance repair)) moved the dryer out and discovered that when it was installed the installer did not remover the paperwork from the hose. Amazing there wasn't a problem before now. The $65 was for the service call and if repair was needed it would have been waived. He would be the first person I would call for any future repairs.

Washer in new home we bought was making noises in certain cycles. Repairman said we had a good machine but that the pumps they originally used in these models had problems and that the manufacturer had since revised the pump and eliminated the bad design. He replace the pump and the washer runs great.

Mike phoned us before coming to our home, to better determine what might be wrong with our ice maker. He had my husband send him some information concerning the model number, via text, which enabled Mike to pick up the parts needed to complete our repair. He said it could be only one of two issues, so he brought with him, the fixes for either problem. He arrived on time and got right to work. He was quick, neat and even cleaned the floor behind the fridge, and the freezer drawer and floor before leaving. Mike explained what he was doing and told us what to expect after he left. He was personable and efficient. I would highly recommend calling East Valley Appliance Repair for any of your kitchen appliance repairs, though I understand he works on both large and small appliances as well.

Guided by a high rating on Angie's List I called East Valley Appliance Repair and scheduled a repair visit on Friday, 10/4/13 to replace the door latch on my Samsung microwave oven. On Friday, they called and said they couldn't make it until the next day because an illness with one of their employees. Josh, the technician, came by the next afternoon. He knew what needed to be replaced, a common part failure on this unit and he had it with him. Before he replaced it he told me there was a high minimum service call charge. This seemed excessive to me and they should have been up front with that on the phone when they were scheduling my appointment. I had a 10% off coupon via Angie's list but even with that it was too high in my opinion. Anyway, I needed the oven fixed and it took Josh less than 10 minutes to replace the $6 part. My main complaint is they should have told me about the minimum service call charge (which I think was way too high) when I was on the phone scheduling the appointment. My total bill was $91.46 and that was with the 10% off coupon. The part was $5.99. It took him less than 10 minutes to replace the door part. So the minimum service charge was close to $100. I really can't recommend them from my experience although the technician was very professional and knew exactly what to do and came prepared with the part.

Mike called about 30 minutes before he arrived telling me that he was on the way. He and Kevin took my dryer apart removing lint and change which was making noise and showed me that the motor was clean and operating. Mike wasn't happy with the way the vent had been crimped and wanted to straighten the gas line so they took some extra time to complete that work. They proceeded to clean up my laundry room floor and then moved to the kitchen to install a new disposal. They kept me informed as to what they were doing and how it was going. I felt very comfortable with their work and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any appliance repair or work. I felt the price was reasonable for the quality of work and my peace of mind.

It went really well. Great service and follow up. I would this service again.
