Description of Work: They were pleasant and did work the whole time, but, left many things that they should not have. I should have been more hands on, but, I was moving smaller things to my car. The price was good.

Description of Work: We had a POD delivered to our house in Ftn Hills with our furniture and boxes from TX. My husband had insisted he could handle taking everything out, up until the two days before the POD was delivered (the 19th). Then I was calling around frantically trying to get a company to send out moving guys to offload our stuff before the POD was to be picked up (morning of 23rd). |I left messages at two companies, one of which was Donation. I received a call back within an hour of my message, from a pleasant woman who was not sure they could fit us in as they were fully booked. She did offer for them to come on Sunday the 20th, but our HOA does not allow workmen on Sundays. When I said I would keep looking, she told me she could squeeze us in on Monday afternoon if we were flexible with the time. Great! |The movers called earlier on Monday than their window of time and said they had finished early, could they come by. Absolutely. |Paul and two other young men arrived, and were very pleasant. They quickly, but carefully, offloaded everything from the POD in less than an hour. The great thing about this company is they charge a $60 trip charge, but then only charge for the amount of time they are there, with no minimum. |We were so happy with their service, we will be using them next month to move to another house and to take things to my mother-in-laws. |Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Excellent from beginning to end! I hired Donation Movers on very short notice when another mover I had hired had a child answer their phone. That didn't seem very professional to allow children to answer your business phone. I decided to go with Donation Movers because of their ratings/reviews here and their Angie's List Super Service award. That made a difference. We had no time to mess around since we needed to move out on New Year's eve. When I called, I left a voicemail and the owner, Paul, called me right back. He confirmed that he could move me on New Year's eve. He asked me to fill out a detailed form on their website. It asks for all of the pertinent info for my move- date of move, point A address to point B address, and a check off list of entire household items. I received a confirmation call a day or two before the move telling me that the movers would arrive at 8 AM. Probably the only complaint I have about this experience was that they called me at around 6:30 AM on moving day saying they were on their way. We expected them at 8 so needless to say, I was rushing to wake my family up to be ready for their arrival. Aside from that, when they arrived, they wasted no time and did a quick walk through to assess the items in all the rooms and give me a quote. One guy was carefully wrapping fragile items and the other men were already moving furniture into their truck. They worked non-stop and quickly. All of our belongings arrived to our new house without a problem. We were very pleased. I think the cost was fair for a household of furniture and trip charge.

Description of Work: The movers worked at a pretty slow pace and took breaks every so often, costing me more money. While they were moving the stuff into our brand new house, they damaged walls and doors in several areas. When I walked through and showed the head mover the damage after they were done, I was confronted by the three other movers as they became very defensive and aggressive, saying that they didn't cause any damage. I never received any follow up calls regarding the damage and they never offered to repair any of it. I will never use this company again and would definitely not recommend them to anybody.

Description of Work: Most of the packing was done so all they needed to do was load and move. Two trucks came out and I thought they were a bit slow getting the job done. Not sure they maximized the space either. Required two trips to get everything moved. Some were very professional and experienced but you could definitely tell the rookies. Caught one dropping a box off of the two wheeler being careless

Description of Work: THE COST FOR THE MOVE WAS $249 FOR 3 HOURS WITH A 24 FOOT TRUCK. 3 YOUNG MEN ARRIVED WITH THE TRUCK WE WERE TO MEET AT OUR STORAGE UNIT AT 8 AM AND THEY WERE THERE AT 7:45. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK CONTROL OF THE MOVE IMMEDIATELY. THEY PACKED THE TRUCK IN 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES AND WHEN WE ARRIVED AT OUR HOUSE THEY UNLOADED AND DID SETUP IN 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Description of Work: Four young men and a truck arrived on time. Thy were all polite and obliging. It took them about 21/2 hours to move our boxes , furniture from our garage to a storage location. They were proficient and wrapped furniture without our prodding. A very reasonable price for the service performed.

Description of Work: They did a great job. They arrived on time and move everything fast. In addition, they have half hour service price, so if it takes less than half hour, they will just charge half of the regular price, and there is no minimum hour requirement.

Description of Work: I needed a refrigerator picked up and moved to a new loation. I called on Monday October 8 and the move took place on Tuesday. After providing information on the telephone I received a confirmation email. Great....... Everything in writing!
