My experience with Donation Movers during this move was outstanding! Every aspect was great from the intial contact and scheduling to the completion of the job! The staff at Donation was very responsive and helpful during the initial inquiries and scheduling of the appointment. There was great follow-up to ensure that the date/time/cost etc was fully explained and set up properly. The moving team called ahead on the day of the move and arrived ahead of their target time - which was great! The Donation team that worked with us (Alex, Juan, and Maurier) was polite, hard-working, professional, and extremely good natured. The team worked non-stop on a very hot day and it was impressive to see how they ended the job still having the great attitude and demeanor they started with. They were considerate with our belongings, wrapping them when appropriate and careful to coordinate with us to make sure the move was going well. The apartment move was completed right on time (about 3 hours) including a move to a second story apartment. Based on this experience, I would work with Donation Movers LLC on my next move without hesitation!!

The crew were unable to meet the original schedule due to a delay on an earlier job. However, the crew leader kept me informed and they arrived at the appointed rescheduled time, as promised. The whole crew was friendly and hard working. The work was completed to our satisfaction in a very reasonable time. I have zero complaints and the price for the work was very reasonable. If I ever need the help of a local moving service again, I will call on Donation Movers.

They could not move us in one day. My wife, Carol, had to pay for the first days service and did not receive the 10% discount as an Angies list member. In the confusion of the day, she did not ask for the discount even tho we were told by the owner if we joined Angies list we would receive a 10% discount as a member. The following day when making the payment she ask for the total discount including the first days payment and was told she could only get the discount for the second day since I did not have the coupon in hand to show them on the first day. Further more, she had to sign a no damage clause right away and later found damage and broken items.

The moved went absolutely perfect! First and foremost, Paul is a great person that made our moving experience fantastic. Paul and team showed up on time and ready to go. I might have had the door open 1 minute and his guys were already stacking boxes to move outside. I had to leave for work and my wife was left to work with Paul and team. I was fully expecting to get phone calls from my wife with issues (I moved with another company 1 year ago and my phone rang of the hook!) and even planned on leaving work early, BUT when I received my first call from my wife at noon, the move was almost done. The only issue I heard was that they were moving TOO FAST, that's right too fast, and she did not label a couple of boxes. Since we had over a week before closing on our new home, I also rented a small storage space to access items I knew I would need to get to but did not want to take with me to our temporary housing. I fully planned on moving it all myself, but like every other item in our house, Donation would not let my wife or I move a box, it was their job and they did not want to see us get dirty or injure ourselves with heavy lifting. We move into our new house soon and for the first time I have ever moved, I am NOT worried about the move, I know Paul and Donation movers are coming and will take care of it. If you use any other mover, you are making a mistake. Donation had great people and had by far (I am talking not even close) to the best price our there!

The movers arrived on time, loaded the furniture, drove to the new house and unloaded without any issues. As we got closer to the move date the list of items that needed to be moved changed, but that was not a problem because Donation charges by the hour. If it took more time that was no problem. If it took less time then it cost me less.

They finished the move in excellent time, wrapped the furniture to protect items I was moving and a few I was leaving (in order to protect from remodel work) They were all nice guys. Explained things and asked questions along the way if needed. Will hope for same crew when I move it back into the house post remodel!

I had a very good experience with them. They did a great job, were good, and no problem. They were mannerly, helped do some packing and that as well, didn't hurt my furniture, and I would recommend them. They were very punctual.

They were supposed to show up between 11 and 1 PM and call an hour in advance. When I hadn't heard from them by 11, I called. I was told they were running late, and wouldn't make the promised window. The man managing the move said he would be there between 2 and 3. So being patient we went for a long lunch. He said he would call an hour in advance, and when I didn't hear from him by 1:45, I became concerned. I called the office but no answer, and then I called the person who was to manage the move directly. But still no answer. I waited until 2 o'clock, and still no return call. I ended up having to book another mover because my chronically ill mother couldn't wait any longer. At 2:30 they finally called and the man said that he was going to CALL between 2 and 3. Had I known when they were actually planning to show, I would have called another mover immediately or demand that Donation send someone else. The lack of response and being unacceptably late was unprofessional. What stress!

Paul, Ivory and the other men were very professional and courteous during this whole move. They were flexible when my closing date kept changing and arranged times so that I would not be inconvenienced any more than was absolutely necessary. They made a very stressful time into an easy time as possible. They were respectful and careful with packing, moving and unpacking my furniture and other belongings. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a mover. My realtor took their business cards and has handed them out to other people who will be needing a mover and spoke highly of them.

They did everything as quoted and promised. Workers were timely, quick, professional, good natured, respectful, knowledgeable, consistent and experienced. They took the items that I did not want and donated them to charities/Thrift stores; such as Goodwill, Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, and Veterans Thrift store. I was amazed and satisfied with my moving experience for the first time in my life.

Ivory, Juan and Maurier did an incredible job. They [aid attention to detail, very respectful, quick and professional. I would highly recommend these guys.

Ivory and his crew of 3 were extremely fast and efficient. His also took his time to teach his new member how to properly wrap and pack an item. Whiched showed me that he takes pride in his work. They took the time to wrap all my furniture a pack it in their trailer. Very professional and down to earth. When it came to unpacking they were careful not to bump the walls or scratch anything. But there was one bump on my wall and there were willing to touch it up but I was happy with such the great job they did. I told them I would take of it. Definitely would recommend them to anyone. No hidden cost. And they informed me of the coupon on Angie's list so that I could save more. These guys do GREAT WORK!!!

I had never had to use a moving company before and was skeptical about finding a company that would in the end not have any "issues". I called Donation Movers and received a quote for moving our belongings from a storage unit to our new house. The service was impeccable. The movers ( 3 great guys) carefully loaded our things and drove 3 1/2 hours to our new house. My husband and I were extremely happy with the service we received.

Called for quick and small move and they came out the next day. They called ahead and took all donation items for me! I forgot to print the Angie's List coupon so missed out on the discount. They inquired about it when I scheduled and didn't ask when they did the move and I completely forgot.

My wife contacted donation movers after using angies list and seeing their high ratings. We move a lot and have worked with a lot of good and a lot of bad movers. I would rate donation and the crew that moved us as the best we've worked with. From the original call to the guys who came out and did the work. Great job and we will recommend and use them in the future

I've used them before and they always do good work. I was very happy with the service.

The move went very smoothly. The movers were friendly and attentive and we would definitely use them again. The price was extremely competetive, nothing was broken and the guys were lightening fast.

There were four men for $100 an hour. They did a fantasic job. We are using them again for the rest of our move.

We contacted them independently of their web site at first, as we had used them several times in the past. This was a very simple move of a small amount of items and we were hoping they could work us in on short notice. They were able to get us in on the next day! We went through the website and requested information as they requested for an official record of the quote. They said they'd call 1 hour to 45 minutes before they were at the pick up site, and they drove up 40 minutes after their call. Was not a big load and they had it loaded and ready to move within 20 minutes. Unloading was even less, and they prorated the 1 hour charge. Was very smooth and they were very careful with the small furniture and heavy lift-recliner.

they confirmed 24h before, told us they would be at our house at 7am. They showed up at the gate at 7.1am! perfect timing. Great team leader of 6, he did the walk trrough with us and then the team worked under his guidance. Together they managed to pack, transport, unpack and build up at our new place in 7 hours ! great team! hard workers, professionals, very friendly.

They showed up on time. They moved furniture for us many times because we were working on moving furniture into a smaller space and wanted to try different layouts. We had to change the moving date a couple times and they were very flexible and accomodating in regards to that.

Let me start off by saying, that this was the best moving experiance I have ever had. I didn't have to break my back or con friends with beers to break theirs. Donation was the best deal out there and their crew was wonderful. They arrived right on time and immediatly got to work. I was disapointed that it was going to take too trips with their 26' trailer, but quickly realized they had no choice as we had too much stuff. They worked like lightining and still took the care and caution needed for our possessions. In the end even with the hour and half delay in taking the 70 mile round trip to the old house they still finished our move in less time than that estimated by the others. (In fact some estimated twice as long, even with the same 4 man crew. Those guys probably moved like snails.) The crew worked right through their lunch and even went on to another job afterward. Can't imagine that. Do not heistate to use this company. My experiance was top notch, and if they continue to use such good guys you will get a great move too.

Last March they did moving for me. They did a great job. Only one pot was broken. Considering the amount of household items they had to pack I thought that was good. When I called to have the empty boxes picked up they were there next day! Great service all around.

The move went pretty well. Nothing was damaged. 3 guys showed up on time (early morning slot). One of the guys did most of the work and one wasn't a regular mover guy and did not do much. I think the move could have finished faster. It took them 5 hours in total. They also forgot to bring closet for hanging clothes. Apart from that, overall, good experience.

They helped us move in September of 2011. They helped us move from an apartment to a home that was about a half a mile away. 3 guys helped us move. They were friendly and careful. We had everything boxed up and wrapped up, but they did offer to help us with that. They just helped us move things to and from the truck. The apartment was on the 2nd level and our home had 2 stories; so they did have to move things up and down stairs.
