Description of Work: Replaced start / run capacitor, that was expensive but they had it on hand, added R22, also expensive but on hand, very prompt and professional ...they have gotten me running quickly and they arrive when they say they will. They try to keep you going and educate the customer without a big sales pitch, ...I would recommend and use them again!

Description of Work: We moved into our house over the winter and, even though it passed inspection, the a/c units worked poorly when we first turned them on in the spring (the house has 2 units). I contacted Day Advanced Air and got a response by email within an hour. We set up an appointment and Steve Day spent about an hour with us (maybe longer) giving our cooling system a thorough inspection and explaining what he found. One unit needed a new motor, the other needed some leaks repaired, a freon charge, and some other work. Both needed a serious cleaning. We scheduled the service for two days later. The job was done in a professional manner and ahead of schedule. We hit these guys just at the time when they were getting flooded with calls due to the warming weather, but they went out of their way to make time for us and treated us as if we were their only customer. | |Now we're almost to the end of June and all of the equipment is still working well. When it comes time to service our system again or replace it (it is getting old), Day Advanced Air will be my first call.

Description of Work: Tested 3 heat pumps; replaced defective condensers on two, and replaced a damaged motor on the third.

Description of Work: They came to inspect our system. They worked on the unit and i paid them close to 1,000 including the inspection. They promised before and after photos and a report which I never received. I called several times to get these items. The unit seems to be working fine.

Description of Work: Top notch experience with this company! Dave thoroughly examined both units and was able to repair the unit that was not functioning properly. We will be needing to replace these units in the next few years, and Day Advanced Air Conditioning has earned our respect and our future business!

Description of Work: They serviced our air conditioner and heat pump. Very informative about the unit and what repairs they made.

Description of Work: I had an inspection done for each of my AC units (2) at $50 each due to a deal through Angie's List. Dave reviewed the units and was extremely thorough. He even fixed some exposed wires he noticed (huge "thank you" for that). I could tell he took his time and was able to give me way more details on the condition of my units than I was even able to understand. The only downside was that I could not record all of these details in writing and the report that I was left with did not seem to have all the details discussed verbally. Granted, some of these things that were not recorded were recommended upgrades to improve efficiency, but I tend to like as many details as possible on paper - just a personal preference. Another minor gripe would be that I would prefer the report typed rather than handwritten - again, a personal preference although I'm not sure if other companies even do this. These small suggestions aside, I would definitely use Day Air again and would recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Needed pre-summer maintenance on two 14 year old AC units. They (the owner and an assistant) came out and gave us an extremely thorough report on both units. They replaced one of the motors, and other smaller parts (caps and such). Satisfied with the work, and hopefully it will help keep our units going a few more years.

Description of Work: These guys are very professional and take the time out to explain anything and everything you have questions about. I was very impressed, they explained every last detail of their analysis to me and went over their pricing structure for repair to a very detailed extent (which is much appreciated). Would recommend to anyone needed A/C service as they do a wonderful job. My only criticism is that throughout the process of the checkup and then the service after, it did take them some time to answer their emails and voicemails. This had no effect on the overall quality of the repair, however, and it is simply something to be aware of. Would still highly recommend.
