Description of Work: They installed a security panel in my home and overall I was really pleased with the installation, however, the panel lettering tend to drop off as they are just stick-ons, however, I mentioned it to the company and they promptly sent me replacement stickers.

The installer was a highly experienced professional, very respectful of our home, worked efficiently, and completed the work sooner than the projected time. Description of Work: I was using their alarm services. I was paying them annual to provide security. However, my alarm went off about two weeks ago and they never followed up. They usually do but this time they did not call to notify me. At this point, I am unsure if I am active with them. I wish they would have notified me either way to let me know if my system was active or not.

+ -1 moreThe owner of the company came out a week ago and explained exactly what needed to be done to move from a landline to cellular and provided the costs. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I also purchased a smoke alarm. There was no additional cost for the monitoring of the smoke alarm. The installation was performed on 5/13/11 and was done within 1 hour. The service tech was very professional and nice, I would recommend this company.
Description of Work: I switched my alarm service from a landline to a cellular system and also subscribed to their monthly monitoring service.

+ -1 moreJeff came over and provided all the options for an alarm system. He explained the system thoroughly and gave me the estimate on the spot. We then set up a date and a time for the installation. The installer was on time and the system was installed as per the original plan. He cleaned up completely after he was done. There were no surprises. They were very low pressure during the sales part through the installation, a much different experience than I had when talking to ADT, who turned me off at the very first call. I would highly recommend Bulwark Security.

+ -1 moreShowed up on time, friendly and knowledgeable, everything works. Required an extra visit as the installer didn't have a wired smoke detector in his truck (my fault, wasn't specified in quote). The extra visit was on time again and no extra charges. Monitoring for this company is good as well with a shorter term an lower costs. Bulwark also offers a discount for paying 1 year at a time for monitoring (unlike other alarm companies). We've had the system for a couple of weeks now and everything works great. We had one "event" where our dog opened an unlocked door and set the alarm off while we were away. Response from the monitoring service and police was excellent. Police were pretty forgiving given the circumstances (how many dogs are there that know how to open a closed but unlocked door?).
Description of Work: They upgraded an existing system by replacing the "brain", keypad, smoke detector, and motion sensor. The rest of the system was a decade old wired system.

+ -1 moreI started communicating with Jeff via e-mail which worked extremely well. We knew more or less what we needed and Jeff provided us with a competitive quote. Kolton, the very knowledgable technician, arrived on time, checked out the existing installation, installed all the new units and verified thoroughly that everything, including the various window contacts, was working. While the previous system used a number of wireless sensors he was able to find pre-installed wires and also hooked up the previously stand alone smoke sensors. Based on some additional recommendation we organized a second visit to install one additional terminal in a location, where a hidden wire was detected, as well as a wireless sensor for overall better user friendliness. We were not around at that time, again Kolton did a great job and everything worked out very well. We had a number of e-mail exchanges since then to address some additional questions and Jeff has been always very responsive.

Another benefit that their system offers is self monitoring, which means that if a battery goes bad or something then the system will tell Bulwark & then they will come out & replace it for me as part of my service. I mean I was already happy about the service & then they hook me with more benefits. It's like putting on my favorite pair of jeans & finding a $20 bill in the pocket! Good work. Nice co. Still an A+ in my book. Job 2: Superb. Jeff was very professional. He knows his stuff. He was quick & courteous. He answered any questions. He reset our pass-codes & he set a delay on a door that need it. We were very happy with the service he provided. We would recommend this co. to anyone & everyone. Now that is really peace of mind. Thank you!
Description of Work: Job 1: I had them add another key pad to my alarm system so that I could turn the alarm on and off from a different location in my home.($60.) Job 2: Jeff was very professional. He installed a monitor upstairs, checked our current system for errors, and made some needed adjustments to the system. He also helped us reset our pass-codes since they were still on the builders codes. The whole service took about 35 minutes. He was much quicker then we anticipated, which is a good thing in my book. He made sure that there were no questions and that we were completely satisfied with the work. ($100.)
