They were great for us. We don’t use them for home security. They were great for us. We don’t use them for home security. It’s on-going because they spray our house like monthly or whatever. I think we pay $60. They’re services are pretty good. They’re service is nice. We are still using them.

I've had this system since 2/2015 and I'm counting down the months until the three-year contract that I stupidly signed is up. I will be switching immediately when there is no contract. I was tempted to go lower than a C in the grading because I'm that unhappy with this service but I need to be fair. On the plus side, the owner is very nice. I like the fact that it's a local company. And the carbon monoxide alarm works well. That's about all I can think of that is positive. After 2+ years of issues, I really only ever set the alarm for show. Here are the specific reasons I'm so unhappy: 1) So many false alarms I stopped keeping track after 10; 2) a disabled glass break that I paid for but then have disabled because any time my dog barked it went off; 3) An unreliable battery that is supposed to last for years but that instead needed replacing, only problem it is in a locked box in my very own house but to which I don't have the key; 4) bad sensors, windows can be closed but still show as open except for one window that I can leave open and still set the alarm (I figured out to my detriment just last night that it takes about 5 hours and being in a deep sleep for the system to realize the window is open); 5) slow phone call response times (for example last night I got the call 7 minutes after the alarm and too late to let the police know they were not needed); 6) a remote control that worked for about a day and then went into a drawer because it was already enough trouble just to get the device; 7) unreliable, I hold my breath when I travel because I'm not there to handle the false alarms that invariably happen when I am more than five minutes away from home. I instruct various house sitters and dog walkers not to bother with the alarm because it sends false alarms that I can't deal with. There are other small things but I will stop here. I will say it's entirely possible that I am an outlier and just got a bad system. Whatever the case, I am very unhappy with this service, wishing vehemently that I didn't sign a contract, and am awaiting the day when I can get a different system and service.

Great service. Plus they are concerned with making sure your house is bug-free and will do repeat service if needed.

Bulwark is great. We had one hardware problem in five years, and they responded quickly and made the repair. About twice a year, we set off the alarm by accident. Every time, the Bulwark alarm monitoring location contacted us in under 30 seconds. If great service at a very competitive price is important, Bulwark is the firm to consider.

Jeff came out and made his suggestions. He was very professional. The technician arrived on time on the scheduled date. Everything went smooth and I definitely recommend their service to others.

Very prompt and personalized service. Jeff came to our home, listened carefully to our needs and concerns, and designed a security system to address them. We had previously had a do-it-yourself system which cost $700 for half the coverage Jeff offered at the same cost. The system was such a great deal that we added on the smoke and carbon monoxide monitoring. It's worth noting that Jeff never "sold" us anything. He just explained options and costs. We never felt pressured, upsold, or scared, even a little. Very upstanding guy--which is so important, because you need to be able to trust the people who are protecting your house. The system was quickly and professionally installed (unlike our previous DIY system, which was bulky and occasionally the little stickers they provided failed and pieces fell off the wall). We love the cell-phone based monitoring service and the system is very easy to use. A great experience.

I called about the deal on Angie's List before purchasing. Jeff came out the next day to determine what, if anything, could be salvaged from the ADT system installed by a previous owner of my new house. I was able to salvage several pieces. An installation appointment was set. I'm really happy with the price and that I can reuse some of what's there. The monthly pricing falls in between a cheaper SimpliSafe and the pricier ADT. Bulwark has different options as far as terms, contracts and monthly fees go. I picked Bulwark because the Jeff didn't try to scare me into buying. He stated the facts and let me decide. I think I'm going to be happy with my service.

Jeff Monson couldn't have been better to work with! The fix was more intricate than initially thought, but he worked personally and patiently with us through the problem, updating the firmware on our DVR, upgrading the power cord to the unit, and replacing the hard drive. These services were by-and-large covered under warranty, so there was essentially no added cost to us. Bottom line: Jeff and Bulwark stood behind their products and services well after installation, showing an admirable dedication to the customer's long term experience. Installation of a new, or upgrading an existing security system is a major decision of its own, but knowing that a company will stand behind what they sell you is priceless.

Jeff Monson Is great to work with he was on time for the meeting, to see what I wanted and give me a price. He didn't try to sell me more that I needed. But was more concerned with getting ordered what I needed, to have the home secured. Jeff asked me what time his Technician could start on the date we had picked I said any time, he asked if 7:00 am was ok I said yes. The day befor Jeff called and asked if was ok if the Technician could come at 7:30 that he had to pick up some of the equipment from the office. I said sure. I think this is great customer service. Jeff is easy to get in contact with to answer questions. The Technician was great all so. He know what he was doing. He put in wire to most of the sensors and contacs so we have just a few wireless ones, where he couldn't get to. He was also good in teaching me how to use the System. I wish my Apple Iphone was as easy to get working on the system, but that was me and the Iphone not Bulwark Thanks Jeff

Showed up on time. Performed installation as per our discussion without any problems. Charges were as agreed. They have continued to make themselves available for questions as needed. Recommended.

I have waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure that I had enough experience with the company to provide a sound assessment. From start to finish I was impressed with the company and all employees that I have had contact with. I started by having an in home consultation with Jeff Monson who provided me with very good information and a solid assessment of what I might need in the from of home security. I was impressed that he did not try and hard sell me on his company and services. I had another vendor come to my home for a consultation and he kept trying to get me to sign a contract that night - he pushed me too much and it made me appreciate Jeff's approach all the more. The installation occurred on 1/25/2014 and I was very intimated by the system and was concerned that I wouldn't know what I needed to know in order to avoid false alarms and being fearful of using the system all together - the system is VERY easy to use my concerns reflect my own lack of skill not the system or the installation. The installers spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and I was much more comfortable after that. Since the installation I have had no problems except that I recently noticed my motion detector didn't look like it was on. I thought a light should be showing on the detector and it was not. I called their Customer Service Department and Danyell answered on the 2nd ring - no voice mail or automated answering service. I told her my concerns and felt a little silly doing so. She made me feel comfortable and then she told me how we could test the system with her on the line. She walked me through the steps and we confirmed that the motion detector was working properly by setting it off (she set it so it would not register to the monitoring station so we could test). What piece of mind I have now and I don't feel silly asking the question. My advice to anyone looking for a home alarm system to always get three quotes and don't focus on the price. I was offered a "free" system with "free" installation but the monthly fees were higher, they wanted a longer contact and they charged for all service calls. Compare all aspects of this type of purchase and always consider customer service. Based on all of that I highly recommend Bulwark Home Security.

To start I found Bulwark on Angie's list and spoke with Jeff, he was able to answer all of my questions and addressed a couple of concerns I had. We scheduled the installation for the 31st of January and his crew showed up on time and was friendly and very professional. The alarm installation went without a problem, there was an issue with the cameras due to the way the house was constructed and the crew did not have a bit long enough to penetrate through to the attic. This was discussed with Jeff, and he scheduled a return visit for the 14th of February. Once again, the crew was on time and went straight to work, this time without any problems. I can?t speak highly enough of this company, Jeff and the crew I dealt with were nothing but helpful and pleasant to work with. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a monitored alarm system. Installing the cameras that Bulwark did not sell proves to me that this is a company that wants to help their customers, not just sell product.

We chose them based upon Angie Reviews, a special install offer, and the fact that they use Honeywell equipment just like other major home security companies. The company was prompt in their response, very imformative, and did a great install. We have since contracted with another of their companies for our pest control work and have been satisfied there as well.

All the replaced batteries were done for free--this really surprised me although they said the set up visit was going to be free--I didn't think it would include batteries, too. Their monthly rate was less expensive than my old company plus it was even less with a year paid in advance. They brought a new sign plus 6 decals which my old company promised but never did deliver. From my experience you could not expect a better service call and pricing.

Jeff is very honest and pleasant to work with. He does not try to sell you equipment that you don't need. The installer was very professional and neat. I would highly recommend this company.

Their service turned out fine. They were fast and clean. It was free to reactivate the system if we signed a contract with them. I have no complaints. They have been wonderful and very responsive. I would recommend them to others.

Their service turned out very well. The gentleman that came was very conscientious. He did a great job and got everything working in less than two hours. They are very responsive and I have had no trouble getting in touch with them. We forgot a password recently, called them, and they took care of it right away.
