The front desk receptionist was very polite and timely and called me back right away. They also called to check up on the services they provided to make sure everything was working properly. The installation person was great to work with as well and explained everything about the system. I am very impressed with this company!!!! I highly recommend them! Great Customer Service!

This was an overall good experience.

Contacted Bulwark after a neighbor had a break in and Bulwark's strong Angie reviews. A rock was thrown through my neighbor's glass window which did not trip a door/window contact based alarm. Wanted to add additional security via motion sensors. I requested an estimate via email and was promptly contacted. Jeff Monson, owner, met with me. He reviewed our current security configuration and suggested motion sensors based on my concerns. As we were utilizing Safeguard Security at the time, he openly discussed Bulwark's monitoring services and how it might compare to Safeguard. I got comfortable with this change as Jeff would not sell the equipment without monitoring services. While I never confirmed this, Jeff indicated that Safeguard's equipment was priced significantly higher than Bulwark. Jeff was very professional and went over options and costs. He never attempted to upsell something that we did not need or something that I did not request. We made arrangements for installation the next week. Installation went very well as well. A Bulwark technician arrived on time and completed the installation in a few hours. He was very professional and instructed me on how to use the system before leaving. On a side note, installation may result in some small touch up and dry wall work for the home owner if you are replacing some existing equipment. A few days later, I received email correspondence from Bulwark regarding alarm licensing that I would need to update with the change in monitoring services as well as a letter that I could submit to my home owner's insurance provider for potential discounts. I did not request this information. It was part of the Bulwark service which was a nice touch. My experience with Jeff and Bulwark was very positive. I would highly recommend Bulwark based on this experience.

It went very smoothly.......the person that did the original assessment was prompt and competent and we decided together on what elements I wanted in the system. Installation was done as expected and all sensors were cleanly installed. The system has been running for over amonth now and I am very satisfied with it.

They did a very good job with the installation and I am very pleased with the results. I feel much more safe with their system.

Overall good serviceJeff came to do the estimate and he took the time to answer all our questions.The installation went great too,except that they missed one window sensor(even though they had said they would cover all)We will be notifying them of this and will update the review once the problem is fixed. The bigger issue however is - we are paying 2 bucks a month for a phone app to remotely arm/disarm the system.The app doesnt work and the alarm has gone off several times after we have disarmed from the app. We have been told to contact the app company for this. I would have appreciated if they would have got it fixed instead of handing over the number for the app company. Update 7/20/2012 : Jeff Called us back . The missing door sensor is no more an issue. We are still working on the app issue. Will update my review once that get resolved.

When I initially called to get an estimate, Jeff the owner came to the house. He was very professional and straight forward and didn't give us any of that salesman pressure, which we really appreciated. The prices were very reasonable . . . with a discount for being an Angie's list member and also a lower monthly price if you signed up for a three year contract. We got estimates from several security companies and decided to go with Bulwark because they ended up having the lowest price and we also liked their straight forward, honest and professional approach. When the guys came to install, they were on time and professional. They worked very diligently and made sure to clean up well after themselves. It took them 4-5 hours to install everything and before they left they explained the whole system to us and helped us get everything started. We are very satisfied with the job they did, the company itself and the security system . . . so far we have no complaints and would recommend Bulwark to everyone.

Everything went on well. They did individual service and very accommodating. The technician was very nice. We were very pleased with the work.

Based off of the great reviews on angie's list I called and spoke to Jeff about my situation. I was already using ADT and wanted a wireless keypad that ADT said they could not add to my system. Jeff came out and looked at my system and was very honest about what I had and what I could do with my current setup. He developed a plan that allowed me to use my current hardware and allowed for another wireless keypad which ADT said could not be done. The install guy came and did a good job setting it all up and cleaned up nicely after himself. I got a great price on the annual monitoring and the best part was that Jeff worked with me for an extended period of time to get my system programmed just the way I wanted it. Never got this kind of service from ADT over the four years I had them.Highly recommend Jeff and Bulwark Security.

Excellent, Jeff was third alarm company one spoke with and the only one to give great suggestions on better protecting our home. He offered the most equipment in the lowest price. Our home was not prewired and installer really thought outside the house in installing everything the way we wanted with no wires showing.

I chose them because they offered more features than another company. I would have had to pay $10-$20 more per month with another company for those features. I also got an Angie's List discount. It cost around $200 for the installation because I had a new fire sensor and different kind of hookup done. I have recommended them to friends and I would use them again.

Well, after Duane explained the system and left, both my daughter and I just looked at each other. We both thought the other one understood all the keypad buttons and the key fob. We tried to review the book, but didn't understand it either. Now, here's where their superlative customer service came into effect. I called Jeff and explained that we simply didn't understand. We have exchanged numerous e-mails and now both my daughter and I understand. It's really simple, just that we couldn't seem to grasp it. I doubt if most other people would have the same problem we did. My daughter was also having a problem with using the cellular interactive since she has an android phone, not a smart phone. Jeff went to great lengths to try to get it to work without success. There are companies out there who will install an alarm without charge, but I wanted to be sure of both the system and the kind of customer service I could expect. I would hire these people again in a heartbeat. I have even referred them to three other people in El Mirage. And, by the way, the system is working perfectly even with the imperfect people using it.

The estimator and the installer were friendly, professional, and efficient. We asked for and received their "Angie's List Deal" - a monthly discount for being a member of Angie's List. In comparing their service, installation, and product so far with ADT, which we had at a previous home, we are very satisfied and happy with what we purchased. The "free" ADT system you see advertised is pretty basic (that's my understanding), and what we got was wireless with an app for our smart phones, but Bulwark did seem fairly expensive right up front. The only slight wrinkle was that the installer was an hour or so later in arriving than we expected, and there was a slight miscommunication between the estimator and our installer re: what we had ordered, but overall, it was a very good experience with Bulwark.

Duene (technician) showed up at 11:30 am on Saturday Feb 11th 2012. From start to finish he spent ~4 hrs installing the system . He was very courteous and professional. He listened and answered all the questions we had and provided recommendations. I would definitely use this company again.

From start to finish, the process was very good. Jeff and the installer were friendly, prompt and professional. The additions and upgrades were made and are all working great. We chose to have the system connected to our cell phones and absolutely love it. It allows us to arm and disarm the system remotely; which is really great when you are gone. It also allows you to check and see when the system was armed and disarmed. I would definitely use Bulwark again and would recommend them to anyone. They are a local company and I do prefer to do business locally.

I am pleasantly impressed by this company. I will use them in the future and refer others without hesitation.

It all went excelllent. Dwayne was my installer. He was excellent! I He got in and out in a day. Dwayne was fast but neat. I wanted a hard wired system and that's exactly what I received. You can not see one contact, they all are hidden. Dwayne spent a lot of time in my attic. Everything was done very neatly. Not one sliver of wire was left on my floors. This is an excellent company to deal with. I'm very picky and they passed my test with flying colors. I have a nice alarm for a fair price. The monthly monitoring was the best that I priced, that's what you have to remember. How much will it cost over the years?

This company was great! During the closing of our new home it was broken into and all of the new appliances were stolen so my wife and I knew we wanted to get a very good system. I found Bulwark on Angies list and gave them a call on a Sunday. First thing monday morning I received a call from Jeff Monson; his friendly and and easy going attitude was a refreshing change from many of the other companies I have talked with. I scheduled an appointment with him to give me an estimate on an alarm system and a security camera system. Jeff was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable about his product, not to mention his low pressure sales technique made me feel very comfortable that he was not trying to make the most he could on the job. Jeff spent about an hour at our house and gave us several options. Jeff also found several money saving ideas by using some of the previous security equipment that was already installed in the house. Needless to say we went with their company, I would suggest that anyone else who is looking for a good one on one experience do the same.

We had an extremely positive experience with Bulwark. As he has done in many of these reports, Jeff came out to our home, surveyed the house and provided a good overview of what make sense for our home and life style. He was very professional and, as best as I could tell, knowledgeable about the work and products available. He provided a written estimate for us within a day. We had one other company provide an estimate and theirs was about $350 higher than Bulwark's. The main difference was, I think, that Jeff said that we could use the house's existing security-system wiring; the other said that we would want to use a more costly and visible wireless system. We went with Bulwark. The company was then very accommodating in scheduling installation since we had expressed an interest in having the system installed before we left on a trip. We didn't really press on that point but Jeff arranged for a Saturday install for us anyhow. Dwayne came to the house early on Saturday morning and it took about 5.5 hours; admittedly longer than the 3 hours we were told. Dwayne was very professional and competent. He explained how the system work very clearly and, we were amazed when we brought in a vacuum and cleaned up some dust that had been generated in the install. We did end up needing one wireless unit installed; there was no additional charge for this. Overall, I don't know if this could have been better. We were relieved that we went with Bulwark and very happy with their work. I'd recommend them in a second. We did sign up for the cellular, web interactive service and had a smoke alarm put in, too. I guess we'll see how effective the service REALLY is if we ever truly need either the security or fire features of the system. Hoping we don't...

I had problems with another alarm company. Jeff, the owner of Bulwark, came to my house to give me a quote. He was friendly, direct and to the point. There was no funny business. He told me the pros and cons of everything I might install. There was no pressure to upgrade to stuff I didn't need. I had two other quotes, but went will Bulwark because of their perfect reviews on Angie's List and the BBB. Jeff was my first estimate and I almost told him to install on the spot, but I wanted to see what others had to offer. The install went very well, taking just under four hours. Dwayne was very professional. The equipment is up to date and easy to use. Both Jeff and Dwayne had some good suggestions of how to solve some minor problems. I was offered a senior discount on the install and a 10% discount if paid the monitoring fee upfront so the money indicated above that I spent included the first year's monitoring. I recommend Bulwark without hesitation. They are head and shoulders above the rest.

No complaints. Would use them again for a similar project. I've used other vendors in the Phoenix area and Bulwark has been the best by far.

He did a good job. He was honest and we got a good price for signing up for an annual contract.
