Bulwark came in and were very professional. They did what we asked, when we wanted it and in the the budget. I would use them again.

It went wonderful. I called them and they came the same day which gave me peace of mind. Jeff was phenomenal to work with.

Went with them requested they check all wiring, update wiring and probe light/siren attachment outside. Asked about billing that they would only do quarterly if we submitted a cc. When contract was up, I was going to opt for a different company because I wanted quarterly billing, then they gave me the option. Cox was doing services and they notified me that the alarm line was going to fail. They are really nice people but I think some of their installers were lacking.

Very professional installation in a house that was not pre-wired for it. The only thing that shows are the discreetly placed motion sensors and the keypad. The technician explained everything and demonstrated the system. I later added a pendant panic button for $45 that was mailed to me and free to configure into the system over the phone. Fortunately, this has never been used. The rest of the system seems to work well. The monitoring fee (since I pay annually) is $270 per year. This was an Angie's Big Deal and as far as I could research, the best bang for my buck in installation and monitoring fees.

I contacted Jeff Monson, owner, in early June 2012 to request quote for security system to be installed in my new home near Phoenix. He responded the same day (actually within 2-3 hours). Although I knew something about systems from previous purchases, I left the recommended configuration plan up to him. He quickly responded, after I sent a floor plan, with a complete quote and several questions and options for the system. The quote was complete and just what I anticipated as far as pricing. Jeff offered installation within 48 hours after my closing. On the day of installation, the technician arrived at the scheduled time. He had to do about 5 hours of installation work. This involved several trips into the attic. He explained each step of the process and cleaned up carefully after drilling to install components. He then explained the system operation to me in detail. I was exceptionally pleased with the professionalism, promptness, and care taken in planning and installing the security system. I have worked with a top notch security company for other property in another state, and Bulwark is definitely of the same caliber!

Jeff completed an assessment, made recommendations and offered other options we could add if desired. Absolutely no high pressure tactics. He then emailed a professionally prepared estimate. Based on other reviews and our own perceptions of Jeff and his company, we decided to proceed with Bulwark. The installation was scheduled and took place exactly on time. The installation took between four and five hours and was completed without any problems. The installer tested everything which worked as described. Everything was cleaned up properly and we were very happy about the process from start to finish.

They had good customer service, but the system isn't functioning well. Specifically, I'm having problems with the smart phone application which allows me to activate the system and monitor the house.

Prompt, professional service. Looks like a good product. Technician had the patience to explain everything to my wife while she recorded his instructions on her phone. I viewed the instructions when I returned home from work. Now we have an instructional video! Would strongly recommend.

Bulwark Home Security (local business) did a fantastic job. They were very responsive, I ordered a coupon deal and they called me, I didn't have to call them. They saw that I purchased a deal so they called me about it. They made an appointment and they were on time. I trusted them, they had a good product and I recommended them to someone else who has also used them. I haven't had any issues with the system that they installed.

First I set up with Jeff to have a consultation. I had reviewed Bulwark on line to see what other products they provided and so had an idea of additional installations that I wanted. An old alarm system was no longer functional but I was able to get the system installed in a good place for me.

Jeff Monson came to the house and did the estimate. He was professional and very helpful with suggestions about how best to install motion detectors that would not be set off by our cats. I was also impressed by Cox Communications, but Bulwark was able to give me the best price by being able to use the existing wiring from the twenty year old Honeywell system. They replaced the computer/circuit board in the house so that we can monitor and activate the system with our smart phones. Installation went well. The only complaint I would have is that they don't carry extra parts in their tiny service vans/trucks (my SUV is bigger). I tried to add something at the last minute and the installer said they would have to come back another day with the part, and that would coast and extra $40 service call. The new system is working well. I have had no problems with it and it's been four months.

We had it installed and have a 3 year contract. Their monthly fee is the lowest I have found and they are local.

I purchased a deal from AL and was immediately contacted by Jeff Monson to set up installation. They quoted a time between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and showed up at my door at about 9 a.m. That never happens! I was already impressed. They came in, got right to work, encountered a couple issues due to the set up of my house, solved problems, installed, and even vacuumed up their own mess. Explanation for how to use my system was easily understood. Monthly service fees are completely reasonable. I feel 100% safer in my home now that I know they're taking care of me. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Jeff Monson (owner) visited the house, we discussed our objectives, he explained all the options, made several security recommendations and answered all my questions. He emailed me 3 estimates within a day or two, based on various equipment configurations using both a landline system and a wireless system. I received estimates from 2 other firms and subsequently revised the equipment configuration with Bulwark to use only motion detectors and a smoke detector. Jeff was always helpful and patient as we zeroed in on the right configuration. The install took more time than estimated but this was because Bulwark tried to re-use some of the existing wiring from an old system (that we had disabled) to help save us money. The installer (Dwayne) tried for several hours to resolve the challenges of the existing wiring. We ultimately agreed that the best solution was to install 3 wireless door sensors for a small additional cost (which was very reasonable). Dwayne was on-time, very courteous and worked diligently for 5 hours to complete the install and testing. He also provided a good explanation on how to use the system. I chose Bulwark partly because I wanted to pay for the equipment to minimize the monthly monitoring cost and partly because I was very impressed with Jeff and his honest, straightforward business approach. Jeff understood my priorities and worked to meet my objectives by offering a very competitive monthly monitoring fee of $20 (landline monitoring). I highly recommend Bulwark Security Systems.

I got a very timely appointment for a consultation. They took into consideration all the details of my location including HUGE dogs & a second building that is 70 feet away so had to be wired separately. They were very detailed & thorough & gave me a better system of protection than ADT had bid. The installation date was 2 weeks out. They were on time, they let me know I was a complicated installation so it would be a while which was helpful. They were neat, clean & tidy. Took the time to explain the system & the details. Followed up and billed & invoiced me promptly through email.

I am very pleased with the service and attitude of this family owned business. The representative, Jeff Monson, was cordial and attentive to our needs. He was punctual and there was no pressure whatsoever. He had already told me that I would receive the "Angies List" price of $22.95 per month. After completing a one page form, Jeff called the service person for the company, a 16 year veteran of the industry. Dwain came the same day and meticulously went through the steps to hook into their monitor and completely tested our system. I considered the charges reasonable for the area. I am very pleased with this association and would highly recommend this firm! (the $105 charge was for the purchase of equipment that I requested to update our existing system, otherwise I would have only paid the first months service) Update 3/17/2013. I just changed to annual billing to take advantage of 10% savings, price is still $22.95. I recently contacted Bulwark about some upgrades, I still feel very good about the integrity of the company.
