Excellent service from beginning to end. Prompt estimate, work done 2 days after I called to tell them to do the work. Javier (Havier) was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was very flexible around my work schedule, and arrived on time with the new door. Had it installed and working in a few hours. A minor adjustment was needed, I called the next day and he went above & beyond to come at 6pm in the evening and had it running smooth in about 5 minutes.

Overall, it was a joy and relief to have this business, and their repair person, Tim, take care of a problem that, as far as I knew, could have necessitated a whole new door installation. I am happy to recommend this company without reservation. My next door neighbor happened to see the company truck outside, and came over to see if Tim could take a look at their garage door, which he very kindly did even though he was on a tighter schedule. It is that kind of kindness, going the "extra mile", that makes a fine company stand out even more from other companies.

The initial call was professional and knowledge and bottom line, they had the best price for the total package. Some companies charge extra for the key pad or extra remotes. I called approximately 10-15 companies before I settled on this one. The installer arrived on time, he was charming and he didn't press any extra products on me. I knew I wanted better rollers than those installed by the builder. There is a bedroom above the garage and I didn't want it to be noisy. The installer explained all the options in a clear, unbiased manner. He wasn't trying to push a move expensive item, he was only explaining the advantages/disadvantages of all the options. He took the time to explain the operation, the need to perform periodic safety checks to make sure it was working as it should. He helped me change the codes, but gave me privacy so he wouldn't know the code I'd selected. Overall, if was a great experience. I also appreciated the honesty of including everything in the price instead of giving a low quote and then charging extra for items that seem to me essential: key pads and extra remotes for your cars.

First came and gave me an estimate on our garage door that wasn't moving up and down properly. I didn't know if it needed replacing or what repair.... He was very thorough with telling me about the mechanics of what was wrong. He suggested we brace the door and give it a tune up, and told me why my door and mechanisms were in decent shape (except for the one problem area). We decided to have the work done, and he was prompt and quick. He went over everything and the door works great now.

Tim the owner was very personable and friendly. We had some things in common so we had plenty to talk about. It was the best hour and half of work I have been through. He kept me up to date on everything going. He is quick and knowledgeable. He was very polite and asked for permission before entering my home. As a single women I felt very safe and comfortable around him.

I thought it was really good service, they were at my home within an hour.

They were pleasant on the phone and scheduled a no cost appointment for the following day. (Another company I called said they would charge $64 just to come over). The tech called early the next morning to provide a time estimate; he was one hour late. However, he was friendly and professional and completed the work quickly.

Everything went very well from my initial call to Shelly who set up the appointment to Steve the technician who came out the next day to fix the problem. Shelly was very pleasant over the phone. Steve was an exceptionally pleasant guy who did the work in an excellent manner and whom I would call again at any time. All in all this is a good company with no nonsense who took care of everything to my satisfaction and whom I would call again at any time.

Very pleasant experience with work done quickly and efficiently. with additional advise given to prevent future problems. We felt this to be an ethical and honest company with reasonable job cost.

Good project from start to finish. Over the phone quote on the initial call, at the site "final measurement" scheduled for a couple days later, and installation three business days later. Javier did a great job, the new doors are adjusted perfectly and insulated doors are VERY quiet compared to non-insulated. A Better uses high quality rollers and heavier gauge hinges (compared to original doors circa 2003). Price was several hundred lower than a competitor that promised to install the next day, and slightly lower than two others I had quote (also with positive ratings).

I think they did an OK job. I thought it could have been better, but they tried fixing it at least. The cable they tried to fix is still giving me problems, but not as bad as before. So if I had to recommend them I would, at least they tried fixing it and the price was not bad.

Sent an estimator out 2 days after initial call and 3 days after that they were installing my new door! This was a totally pleasant experience, they arrived on time, were finished when promised and left the garage cleaner than when they started job.

They returned my telephone call promptly, gave me a firm price over the telephone, came out the same day and completed the repair in less than an hour. The repairman was very courteous and lubricated the door mechanism at no addition charge. I would use this company again.

Very satisfied with the work. Steve came out in the window of time frame promised, performed the work quickly, efficiently, and well. We are pleased with the quality of work and would recommend them to friends. They recommended two springs vs. our one. Five year warranty.

Garage door suddenly fell when opening. Repairman came next day and did the job quickly, pleasantly, and at approximately the cost mentioned over phone without having seen the door.

Steve was a man of few words, but he dove into the work and went beyond what I'd expect by straightening the bottom panel corner and securing it with sheet metal screws. He gave me advice on how I may want to take care of the panel down the road. I don't think anyone else could have offered these repairs at this price. A Better Garage Door Company, Inc. will be taking care of my door replacement in the future!

I was satisfied with the work. They guaranteed the parts and labor. The door is working fine after one week.

Steve Vallejos came out within 1.5 hour of my call. Was very pleasant and made great suggestions. I wanted a whole new set up, and he told me nothing was wrong with mine, it just needed some major parts and adjustment. Saved me an enormous amount of money, and was in and out within 1.5 hour!!!!

Overall positive. They give us straight-forward information about the problem and repair, and haven't tried to sell us on additional work. They have always been prompt and courteous.

I called and he was here the same day by 10:00am. Awesome! Very prompt and professional. Steve, the gentleman who did the work, was nice and knew the garage door business. We used my "old" opener and it saved me some money. He made suggestions to quiet my door without the "hard sell" and very proficient in the work (he was in and out in less than an hour.)
