Good company just don’t follow through with what they promise. Had door fall off June 2020 and technician said all work has 1 year warranty. Then garage door falls again December 2020 and they can’t tell me why. put door back on. Then try to charge me even though I was told work had warranty. Go somewhere else where they stand by there word

I couldn't be happier with the job! Javier first stopped by to give us an estimate for either replacing panels or a whole new door. The difference in cost between the two wasn't much, considering the quality of door was better and all the rails/trim were also replaced. We went with a new door and it looks great! He was prompt, friendly, and did a thorough job.

Each issue was handled completely and well. We have the utmost confidence in this company; their staff is accommodating, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, thorough, the list of adjective could go on. The first fix for one issue didn't quite take so they came out quickly resolve it the next day (they offered same day, but I couldn't accommodate). The best thing of all is that I was never upsold. The first issue we had I even asked if a new garage door was needed but instead he fixed it! That alone earned my repeat business and I'll trust them when it comes time for the costlier repairs.

Tim and his team have been great! I have used his company before when they replaced the garage door opener on my house garage. They did an amazing job there so it was only natural that I would use them again when I needed garage doors for a two car detached garage I was adding. The space was going to be air conditioned and very high, so I needed something out of the ordinary. they were able to provide a great insulated door built to order here in the Phoenix area...and it is a great quality door! The tracks are high lift...one to 10' and the other to 14' and are powered by two Liftmaster 8500 wall mount motors. The installer was there from 8 am till after dark to get these installed in one day (the was A LOT of work to do) and I was very impressed with the final product. I'll be hiring Tim and his team at A Better Garage Door again when I am ready to replace the double door on my house with an insulated door.

My garage door began to malfunction on its own when I left town. It had opened by itself. Fortunately the neighbors noticed the door was open and contacted me. After searching Angie's List I called Tim Wirtner and told him of my problem. He responded immediately and the next day I had a new opener in place. When I returned to town the garage was clean, the old opener was gone and the new opener working. It is actually the quietest door opener I have seen. I would definitely recommend A. Better Garage Door Company to everyone. They lived up to their name.

Arrived on time and provided a quick diagnosis of the problem. Gave us various options, and checked unit to determine whether other repairs were needed to help us decide between repairing the existing opener, or installing a new opener. Ultimately, we decided to repair the existing opener.

His price seemed reasonable, and worth every penny when you get the kind of integrity that you feel you're getting from this guy. They had a big job going that week, and we weren't in a rush, so Javier installed the new door on Thursday. He was also very professional, and did an excellent job and it took only a few hours. It's been a little over a week now, and I called them back out to see if an adjustment was needed because the door was sometimes creaking and groaning more than we thought it should. Javier just left here and the door was working perfectly with no undue sounds while he tested it. He lubed some of the parts anyway that may make sounds and said that if it starts making those sounds again that we should call. We're very happy with the door, and the quality of the service from the first call to the last.

This is a really dumb question for the work performed. Details on replacing door rollers? The technician knew what he was doing, did it with much skill and efficiency. Impressive in today's market.

This is review is a few months late. This was first rate from start to finish. The tech was nice and professional(I believe his name was Xavier). I was surprised the tuneup and roller replacement would make that much of a difference on the operation and quietness of the door. The bottom door seal was hard and cracked and I wanted that replaced also. The replacement seal was a lot better quality than the ones I saw at the Big Box stores. I thought the pricing was great for the work accomplished. the bottom line for me: I would not hesitate to use or recommend "A Better Garage Door" again.

Perfect! Not one issue. I bought one of this company's "big deals" for a Liftmaster 8550, installed. The company called me the day after it was purchased and set the installation up for later that week. The person who did the installation was very professional and explained everything to me. It turns out the system I bought was better than I thought and came with an outdoor kepad. I'm very happy with the service and with the product so far.

Tim called ahead of time to confirm the appointment then called to advise when he was leaving his prior appointment. He looked over the door and identified that some of the noise it was making was probably due to a loose brace and tightened it. Once he'd fixed that, replaced the rollers and lubed the drive, it operated much more smoothly and quietly.

They contacted me and said that they couldn't service the area that I'm in. They were very prompt in getting back with me.

The owner did the service. He was extremely quick and professional. He also provided good information on maintenance. I have used this company before, and will use them again as required. Every service call has been timely and an excellent experience. Prices are competitive.

We purchased our home 5 years ago, and our garage door and opener system was installed in 1993. We're not sure when it had been serviced last. Also a couple of problems had come up over the past few months that we wanted addressed. So we purchased the Angies List garage door tuneup from A Better Garage Door Company, Inc. Company owner Tim Wertner scheduled the visit for the morning, called to say he would be there at 9 am, and was just a few minutes late for the service. Both he and his service truck presented an excellent first impression. He was cheerful and courteous, explained what service he was there to perform and listened to two problems I was having with the garage door - a remote that was not working and a stop-start-reverse action that sometimes occurred when the door was opened. With those issues in mind, Tim quickly performed an examination and located the problems. Tim then explained options, including not completing repairs if we decided they were not needed. At no time did he try to up-sell us on new equipment. We decided to repair the broken system, and also opted for a new remote and a keyless entry system. Tim explained options and costs and said that he had all the parts on his truck. He noted that the cost of his parts was the same as purchasing the product at a Home Depot or other store. And, because we had already paid for the service call, there was no additional cost for installation. He also offered his advice on several side issues while he completed his service and installed the new parts. I would not hesitate to use Tim's garage door service again, and will be recommending his company to anyone who might need that service. Tim showed up when he said he would, performed the service he agreed to, addressed additional problems that we had, and had all the needed parts available on his service truck.
