New Life Roofing

I never heard from them I ended up going with another company not thru Angie's List. This was my first experience with Angie's List overall not satisfied.

Richard with New Life was very responsive to my request & scheduled the estimate for the following week. Richard arrived at the house when scheduled & followed up with a written proposal a few days later. We received three quotes for the job, and New Life's was a little bit higher than the others. Richard did a very good job letting me know that his company prides themselves on using quality materials and that all of his employees are permanent, full-time technicians. New Life's quote was also unique in that they do not ask for payment upfront - only when the job is complete. While we ultimately chose another firm for our job, I appreciate the time Richard took with us and the thorough quote I received. I am certain that New Life would have done a great job on our roof.

Appears to be a good job. The owner came out to see if his people did what he promised, and was very satisfied.

No complaints, very responsive, work looks like it is good quality, they had some constructive suggestions to improve the house, nice people to work with.

We have used Richard for our roofing needs for years. After buying a house which had been abandoned and suffered from "deferred maintenance", we have called him a bit more frequently in the last two years. We called Richard after the recent Storm of the Century, when we experienced some leaks in the roofing of both of the buildings on our property. Of course, we were one of thousands (just guessing here) who did... it did take Richard a few days to get back to us, and we had to call and check on the progress of scheduling repairs several times. This is where having a long-term relationship with New Life Roofing comes in handy; it was apparent, understandably, that the damages citywide from an unprecedented storm cycle were affecting their ability to respond in their usual very prompt manner. Richard and his crew have come out to repair our shingle roof on the detached garage, and did their normal amazing job. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and they sent someone out a day or two later to inspect the work and do a final cleanup. We received the bill a week or so later, exactly the amount of the quote to the penny. We are on the list to get repairs schedule for the repairs to our primary residence, and look forward to seeing Richard and his crew again. I have, would and will recommend Richard and New Life Roofing to anyone I know with roofing needs.

called, left message with someone who sounded like it was an answering service, no one called back, it has been 2 plus weeks. I used them before and was happy with service, have appts. with other roofers now.

Offered me 2 options to repair leak. I approved the more robust fix. Arrived on date scheduled. His crew was great and answered all my questions. Unfortunatly, aprox. 1 week after repairs, we had a storm that revealed the leak was still there. To make a long story short, Richard and his employees came out an additional 3 times before the leak was completely fixed. Richard NEVER hesitated to make me his top priority after a storm. Finding a leak is a VERY challenging task and they never let me down. Richard's work ethic and high standards are a breath of fresh air. These types of traits are what Americans are looking for.

I called them on 9/10 and a very nice gentleman took my information and told me an estimator would call me back. I never received that call back.

Never bothered to call us back !!!.

I called New Life after my roof leaked and had water coming into my home. The lady that answered the call said she was going to mark it as an emergency since there was still a leak and that Richard would call me back immediately. Well that was 3 days ago and still no call back. I would have understood if the lady that answered the phone said they were extremely busy and had to pass on my call but to say someone (Richard) would call me back and then never did is totally unprofessional. You might get rave reviews when you do the work but unprofessional conduct will come back to bite you in the a......... My advise to Richard, tell your potential customers the truth up front (too busy, too lazy, just don't care) and not lead them on.

My wife found an advertisement for New Life Roofing and noticed they were on Angie's list. We thought we would give them a try. A little background, I needed repair on my roof several years back and used a vendor suggested through my Golf Club, will they made the repairs and the end result was not so great. So a few years went by and leaks had reappeared... So we had New Life Roofing come by to give us an estimate. Of all things the owner came out to give the estimate for the repairs. He gave us a detailed workup with pictures and arrows what they planned to do. A few days later we contracted them come out and make repairs. Day of Repair: Well first, they arrived on time, next the gentleman who made the repairs was great, very personable and gave detailed information on the repairs, did not try to sell us on anything else. Just made the repairs. Well we got the Bill and it was for the amount on the estimate, no more. (Which by the way was much less than I thought it was going to cost) Well it rained and the repairs worked, no more worries. I would use these folks again, and I would definitely reccomend this company to anyone with no hesitation. Value for the dollar cannot be beat, great customer service and just positive all around service. thanks Chuck Gillum

Within one week of my initial phone call, the president of the company, Richard Bourassa, came to inspect my roof from damages due to monsoon winds and rain; and the next day the estimate was submitted via email. You can imagine how backed-up they can be after a severe monsoon storm. Richard also included the pricing for some possible damages as well; this could only be determined once the work has started (e.g. plywood & waterproof paper); however this was not necessary and subtracted those materials from the original estimate's total. New life Roofing maintains high standards of work ethics as well as quality workmanship; I wish other businesses would display these values. This company is represented by certified roofers who know their trade and don't take advantage of people who don't. Thank You.

I left a detailed voicemail that I needed an estimate for a complete re-roofing and never heard from them. It's ok because there are many good roofing companies in Angie's List to pick from.

We are in the midst of monsoon season and when I called Richard to schedule an appointment to repair my roof and he gave me a great quote and even an Angie's List member discount. They were able to schedule me in the next day, which was a Friday, and came early in the morning to fix my roof! They were very professional and it was a pleasure working with the company. I was even more surprised when they billed me a couple weeks later after the work was done. I paid for what I was quoted for and my payment did not seem like his first priority. I really appreciated that because it gave me enough time to let me know the roof was repaired and had no further leaks. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Richard came out and took a look at our roof and recommended repair instead of replacement. Roof had cracked tiles, slipped tile, and was in need of some flashing. Appreciated his honesty in recommending repair as we really didn't want to replace the roof right now. Good communication, timely, and was flexible. Would highly recommend.

Richard was great! He came and gave a free estimate on the roof of home we are purchasing. He was very professional, punctual and answered all of our questions. We called other companies for estimates and they either did not respond or gave us an attitude about charging $250. He was very nice and easy to work with. I will definitely be calling him if we end up purchasing the house!

Richard answered my Angie's List email promptly. He sent out a man to look at the job a day later. He gave me a quick estimate to repair a small area of roof at my rental property. I didn't need to show up. His man went out to the place the next week and did the repair after I accepted the estimate. The cost was exactly as quoted. I will use them again when I need the roof replaced. Thanks.

Richard gave us an estimate and an estimated date (within a few days) for the repair to be completed, since he needed to locate the correct tiles for us. He found the tiles and scheduled the repair for his crew to come out. On the scheduled date, the two gentlemen arrived early, completed the repair within 15 minutes, and even brought extra tiles along "just in case", which they used since they found an additional cracked tile while they were up on the roof. After they were done, the roof looks perfect. The entire experience was extremely positive, my husband and I are both very pleased with the results and professionalism of New Life Roofing. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I called and spoke to Richard about installing a roof for my new patio cover. He came the next day and gave me a quote, and provided information about the roofing system. The next week his team installed the roof and did a great job. Richard and his team were very professional and responsive, and the knowledge and quality of their work was great. I would highly recommend his services to others.

A small micro-burst removed and destroyed six or eight roofing tiles. Richard came out and gave me a great estimate and included replacing a tile or two that had been missing before the micro-burst. He recognized that the roof is definitely showing signs of aging, but did not try to push a whole new roof on me. He was even able to find replacement tiles to match our 30-year old, no longer made, tiles. When we need more work on our roof, we will definitely give New Life Roofing a call. Thanks, Richard!!

They were on time for estimate and scheduled job at my convenience. Did a good job on replacement and clean up.

Came and gave a estimate shortly after I called. Took pictures for me. I live out of state and couldn't see the completed .job. Called the tenants living in the home and let them know when they were coming. Painted all the spouts to match the house. I was told they completed everything down to the last detail by the tenants. Gave me a discount since they only had to remove one layer instead of two layers of roof and an additional discount for being a Angies list member. Very professional, very honest and so happy to have a great experience.

He arrived on time, ready to go to work, and offered a discount because we'd gone through Angie's List. Estimate matched the actual cost. He/his crew was quick and efficient - got the job done in just a few hours. Clean up was perfect, wouldn't have known they had been there. Very pleased with the service AND the workmanship.

Reached out to them because of all the positive reviews With no call back, I'm assuming the company doesn't need new business.

Richard, the owner of New Life Roofing, was especially helpful in repairing our leaking roof just before the recent 2-1/2 inches of rain we had last weekend. He was careful to determine why the roof was leaking, and kept us informed as the project became more involved. The workers were very skilled, and were careful to cleanup after themselves.
