The service went well. I had them repair a leak under the kitchen sink as well as some other repairs. I thought the pricing for the deal was worth the service. They completed the service in a timely manner and the technician did a nice job. He was friendly and professional. I had no issues with scheduling.

They came out and did all the work. There were about $400 worth of additional fees. The pricing wasn't out of line. There were more things wrong than we thought, but they got everything done promptly and we felt they were honest.

The service went well. I paid an additional $130 to have what I needed done. It was not clear that I could not purchase 2 deals for additional time. I had the technician repair a few faucets that were not properly installed. They also installed a water softener and worked on the dishwasher. The technician knew what he was doing and is very capable. I had no issues with scheduling and he was very prompt. aba

the drywall next to a bathroom shower. It was an emergency. When I explained the problem to him he came immediately even though his availability according to Angie's List was several days later. He quickly solved the problem and replaced the pipe. He put fans on the drywall and carpet around the leak and arranged to have the dry wall replaced. He gave accurate estimates of the repair, explaining everything in detail. His subcontractor who repaired the dry wall was equally adept and responsive. His fees were reasonable. I chose Kevan because so many of his Angie's List evaluations seemed sincere and factual. He is an excellent plumber, but he is more than that. He has a wonderful attitude. He was deeply concerned about the problem and as they say, "My problem become his problem". My wife, daughter and I all agreed that he is on of the nicest people we have ever met. I would not consider calling another plumber. The recent job involved more or less routine maintenance. I expected quality work that was fairly priced. I was not disappointed. Woke to a water leak from under my sink, realized the leaking was coming from the RO system. Called Kevan, he was on another appointment at the time in Avondale, but he arrived at my house in Peoria an hour later. Got right to work, knew exactly what the problem was, had all the tools and replacements parts available, and was finished in less than a couple of hours. Removed the system, replaced corroded vales, replaced drain tubbing, and cleaned up any evidence of being in the house. Very professional, did not try to upsell in any manner. Presented me with an itemized statement for much less than I was anticipating. Very pleased and would recommend H&K and Kevan Delaney to anyonewho wants honest knowledgeable service for a very honest fair price. We live in such a transient community, it is hard to find service providers that know their trade and will charge a fair price. Kevan is one of the rare few you will want to keep his number as the first in your list of plumbers.

My son was at home when they did the work. He said they were fast and looked like they knew what they were doing.

Kevan contacted me by email within hours of my purchasing a Deal. I gave him a call and made an appointment for him to come fix two leaking toilets. He arrived early and was very nice as he introduced himself and then asked questions about my problems. He checked out both toilets and found out why they were leaking and proceeded to show me where the leaks were coming from. He advised me as to what would be the best way to fix them. He completely changed out everything inside the tanks and put in modern parts that will work better than the old models. Then he replaced the water supply lines for both.. He even cleaned the inside of the tanks, that had some black residue in them, using a cleaner and paper towels. Kevan worked at a good pace and was careful not to harm anything around the units. He did a great job of making sure to clean up so well that you wouldn't know that there had been anyone there doing such work. He even took all of the old parts with him, as well as the paper towels that he had used to clean inside the tanks. I was extremely pleased with Kevan's work ethics and will use him again if/when I have another plumbing problem. Thanks Kevan!

Everything went great! I originally chose to go with H & K plumbing because of Kevan's willingness to take the time to respond to my questions via email with substantive answers that made sense before making an appointment. We have had an issue with an intermittent sewage smell in the house. This is a 40 year old home that we have only owned for about 1.5 years and we have heard it was empty for 3 years before we bought it. He first looked at the whole system with his camera. Found the vents to be full of filth so he cleaned those out but he did not see any issues with leaks in the pipes. He also found that one of the sewer cleanout lines was buried under the ground so he raised that for us since it should not be under ground. After that, we were still experiencing the sewage smell. So, he came back and performed a smoke test and was able to identify one area of possible leakage which did happen to be the area where we were experiencing the worst smells. It was corroded so he replaced that. He also suggested a specific product (BIO-CLEAN) to use in all the drains once a month which should help breakdown buildup and etc. in the drains. He followed through with everything he said he would do. Arrived early every time. He knows what he is talking about and works hard. He clearly cares about people and his business. We appreciated his help very much and will call him the next time we have any plumbing needs.

First of all the owner, Kevan Delaney, came out personally and spent about 3 hours going over all issues and questions. He used a sewer scope and sewer rooter to identify exactly what needed to be fixed and/or looked into more for my main sewer line. He identify what needed to be replaced to stop my main water line leak and also looked into how to tie in a water softener. He explained all the issues and all possible solutions in great detail and provided a very competitive quote (my neighbor had a similar sewer repair done a few months ago and he cost him double!). Kevan and his crew came out on time as expected and without any issues. The area that needed to be dug up was under the main gas line and cable and above the main electrical lines, so great care had to be taken digging in the area. They dug up 2 sizable holes to investigate one section of sewer that didn?t look right in the scope and another for the break. The part that didn?t look right ended up to be a cleanout that was put in incorrectly which they fixed and put salt around and filled in. The main break ended up to be a foot and a half section that was replaced. Turns out that it seems very likely that the gas company dug into it when laying their pipe. They fixed the break while taking pictures along the way to show every step and to aide in my gas company complaint. Kevan and his crew were very professional and friendly during the whole process. I would highly recommend H & K Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

I had purchased two faucets on line and was planning to use this big deal to install them. However the first faucet installed turned out to be defective. H & K looked at the second one also and found that the seals were dried up. They took the time to find two new touch faucets in the area and went and picked them up and installed them. My faucets were off because they leaked and this was a house I purchased to live in so we needed them asap. Most of the touch faucets are not in stock at the box stores. Long story short even though it took most of his day the faucets were done and done right. I appreciate their work.

Kevan completed the job (which turned out to be fraught with some very unexpected problems) in a highly professional manner. He was timely and demonstrated competence from start to finish.

Kevan was professional, courteous, and prompt in all of our dealings with him and his company. We had a leak at the kitchen faucet and as this was for a home sale we wanted to see if it could be repaired rather than replacing the whole unit. Kevan was out at the home the same day. While it could not be repaired he fully explained just why it couldn't be so that I was very comfortable that I was not being taken. He was able to replace the unit that visit with one that fit in well with both the home and the price point. Furthermore, Kevan identified a leak that we had not noticed but that he was able to easily take care of and that would have been a problem for the sale. As an out of state owner, Kevan worked well with me to ease my concerns. Going to the point of taking pictures during the work and texting them over to my cell phone. I was very pleased with the work performed and the way in which Kevan performed it. I would definitley use them again and highly reccomend them.

I was very pleased with their service. They always call, they're always on time, and they're always polite. They tell me exactly how much it will be, and the free estimates are always right on. If a project goes a little bit over time, they don't immediately start charging an arm and a leg.

He is very reliable. He did an excellent job. We love using his service. He was not willing to work with the provider that had put in the pump before as they had not been providing good service to his customers. He put in a better pump than we originally had. They did the work when we were not home and he did not have to access the interior of our home. Our neighbor checked out the work and he told us while we were on vacation everything was done very well. We only had 10% plumbing usage prior to leaving and after that the plumbing has worked great.

It went wonderful! I loved his service. He came early. The job was done right. Most importantly, my sink does not leak anymore! He talked to me about other plumbing concerns I had, and now I scheduled another appointment to fix them. Finally, I found a competent plumber....priceless!

He convinced me to use a recirculating pump attached to the water heater instead. Therefore he sold me the pump, installed it, and I returned the hot water heater. The reason given, that I agreed with, is that the undersink heaters can leak and make a mess. The only thing that I did not explore with him is the cost of the recirculating pump on the electric bill. I have since found out that the cost of the pump is nothing on an electric bill. I love having hot water at the sink instantly and not wasting our most precious natural resource here in the desert- WATER. The only additional point I would make is that he was so busy that he had forgotten our appointment and I had to call him and ask where he was and he came right away. The cost above includes the $136 I paid for the deal on Angie's List.

Had warranty coverage for problem so I did not use the full repair service.

There was some difficulty in scheduling the appointment after buying the 'big deal', since the provider was quite busy, but the work was not an emergency, so that worked out. I was pleased with the work performed, I had several small things that needed attention. He came on time, corrected all issues and cleaned up before leaving

I have been troubled and put off doing this review since my chief complaint is the price. Kevan, the "K" in H and K Plumbing, told me in August that the cost would be about $2,100. Without my consent or talking to me in any way, the final bill was $5,100. I paid the bill since I employed him on an hourly basis and could not refute that he put in the time. However, this is very improper. He does very good work but does not listen to your needs. I provide him with the company sketch for the water system that used 3 feet of wall space, He ignored the sketch and did an enormous piping and valve system of over 6 feet. This took out my ability to put a whole cabinet on the wall. The recirculating hot water system is partial at best. It only works partially for the kitchen sink. The master bedroom is not even a part of it really. I am very disappointed in it.
