Description of Work: He was awesome and thorough. I had a crappy poorly installed fiberglass sink removed and new one installed. He also had to pretty much change everything out. Garbage disposal was changed and he unclogged the kitchen sink. Was a lot of work. He was a great guy that knew what he was doing. I feel blessed about the entire experience and I am ever so pleased with my new sink, disposal and water flow!!

We had him install a new kitchen faucet that is very high tech and required more time to install than a normal faucet. When he successfully completed that we asked if he could install a new dishwasher that we had just purchased.....he was more than willing to stay and perform that installation also, of course for an additional charge. We were very satisfied with his work and would certainly use him again if we have a need.

Kevan came and replace 2 handle and a shower arm & head in a master shower and 3 handle shower arm & head , tub faucet, drain trim and overflow plate in guest bath, also replaced a host bib in yard. The work took about 4 hours, which was a littler longer than I expected. I supplied all parts. Overall Kevan did a good job installing new fixtures except that the water from tub faucet spread a little widely and spills over the tub edge when turned on fully. He said he would need to come out again using a different type of spout to fix it.
Description of Work: replace a shower trim set in master bath, a shower and tub trim set in guest bath and a hose bib in yard

+ 0 moreI don't know about anyone else but I had my home built 15years ago during the housing boom. Lately problems have been arising. After investigating the problems I find thing were done right when they built the home. This is the first time I have used Journeyman Plumbers but I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of Kevan work. My brothers are in one trade or another so I know good work. Kevan work goes beyond good its off the scale. Kevan's dedication to detail and determination to do the best job is unmatched. When he is doing a job and runs into a problem he invites you in to see the problem and discusses with you solutions and alternatives. He always corrects the problem and the work is exceptional. All my fittings and been put on wrong within the house was built and water had been leaking causing damage to pipe and fitting. Kevan corrected the problem and now I feel safe that I won't have further leaking and possible mold problems. Kevan is my go to guy for all my pumping needs. His prices are very reasonable. I never feel like he is trying to take advantage or increase his prices. I feel bad my brothers don't live in Phoenix to help me maintain my house but with finding Journeyman Plumber and Kevan it?s the next best thing. For the amount of time and work he had to do I found his prices to be more than reasonable.
Description of Work: I supplied Moen tub and shower heads, Kevan completed hall bath and master bath repairs and installation, He repaired tub spout with copper line and had to solder in new fittings and cartridges before installing new fixtures..

I went through what I wanted done and he jumped right in and performed the work in a very timely manner with excellent results. He was very thorough and tidy upon the completion of the job. + 0 moreDo not buy this coupon, this guy scammed me. I purchased a coupon for 2 hours of plumbing for 99.00. I had two facets that had slow drips. Five hours later I had a drained water heater, 2 drips stopped and a recirculator diagnosed as broken. 5 hours!!! He left for over an hour and added the time to my bill to go get the parts that he didn't carry on his truck. He was overly dramatic from the start, telling me he had never seen a water heater with so many calcium deposits, took him 2.5 hours to drain, keep saying "wow" with each thing I had him look at. The grand finale was when he left a container of CLR on my kitchen counter, (after he came back in two times to make sure he didn't leave anything), I picked it up to move it and the liquid came pouring out of a razor like slit half way down, 4 of my travertine tiles are ruined...This was a terrible experience. 5 hours of work, I was told by another plumber that it should have been completed in two hours.
Description of Work: Water heater drained with super special high tech wet/dry vac of calcium deposits, 2 drippy facets resolved, recirculator pump diagnosed as not working.

Description of Work: I contacted Kevan about a week after I purchased the coupon off angies list. And asked him when he could come out to do some plumbing for me he told me as soon as he could come out was Oct 23. He asked me What time would I like him to start I said early he said 7 am? I said that's fine with me. He was hear at my house Be for 7 am because I went out side to shout the water off to the house around 6:50 he was in his van drinking his coffee. He came in I showed him what I had to have done he took notes on a note pad. He said he was going to go out to his van and gather up what he needed. And start on every thing I had 2 sinks I needed the drains installed and a disposal I got from costco. (not a good buy) He went to install the disposal and found that the drain for it was way to low and to make it fit right he was going to have to cut dry wall and redo all the drain work pluming and that was going to cost me a lot of money. He told me the best thing to do is to home depot and get a new evolotion disposal and that would take care of the problem with the drain and all or he could sale me the one he had on his van but it was a lot more money. I went up to home depot picked up the new evolotion while I was gone he removed the one from costco put it back in the box so I could return it to costco. He installed the garbage disposal and 3 sink straners for me and the pluming from the sink strainers to the drain reinstalled the RO system for me also. While he filled out the bill he let things run and checked for leaks. He knows what code is and how things should be done. Kevan says he only sets up 1 job a day so he don't over book and tell you oh I willl be there between 12:00 and 5:00 and you take the day off work and he showes up at 6pm. I was very happy with the work that he did and how does work its not fast but he makes it right the first time. I did provide a lot of the parts he needed to do the job. I try and buy good stuff that will last not cheap stuff. A word to the wise if it looks cheap and is cheap it won't last so walk a way from it. He took be for pics and after pics after the work was all done.

+ -1 moreHarvone was recommended to me by a friend who is also in the trades (home repairs/remodeling).Two years ago, I had contracted a handyman who in addition to being a crook, did not know what he was doing. My area under the sink was constantly flooding because the before mentioned Bozo used PVC pipes. I in turn tried repeatedly to repair these pipes, I tried to hold them together with (yes, you guessed it) duct tape. In addition, my dishwasher (which I never really use) smelled like a sewer. Harvone fixed all these problems quickly and professional using copper pipes (running them flush around the interior walls so I had more space) and fixed the dish washer. He even un-bolted the dish washer from the floor explaining that the un-handyman I utilized should not have done that. Harvone has my deepest respect for people who take the time to be a journeyman in their trade. He is a masterful plumber and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

+ 1 moreHe came when he said he would and stayed with the job to completion.He made sure that I was satisfied with the work performed.His fee was very competitive, and he only requested a camera/locater service after the location marking by the sewer utility proved wrong.They started on Friday morning and it took an extra day of digging on Sunday to get to to the pipe, but there was no additional charge.His business is a local business located in Glendale.
Description of Work: Kevan and his crew patched a missing 6 inch section of the sewer pipe ( 7 feet underground ) from my house to where it meets the pipe from the street.He also replaced the house water shutoff valve and hose bib next to the house.

He has a very wide scope of experience, knowledge and skill. He provided the highest quality of work on this project, it was all done far faster than expected, and he provided excellent Customer Service.It was truly a gift to have Kevan come to my house to do the Solar Hot Water Heater and Solar Panel installation. Because of this work he has become my "Plumber for Life." It's a rare thing to find someone that you trust absolutely with any projects or problems that arise. Kevan is one of these rare people. I think the two things that makes Kevan stand out head and shoulders above the rest are Craftsmanship and Pride in the quality of his work and in the Customer Service he provides. I think these two things are rarely found these days, and the fact that Kevan has these makes him a true treasure. On this project I could not have been more pleased. As you will see as you read further down in the reviews, I was so pleased that Kevan has continued to be my one and only plumber.

+ 2 moreH & K Plumbing and Kevan to the rescue again! The main water line running from the water main to my house burst and was flooding. I immediately called Kevan. Kevan stopped what he was doing and came over to my house immediately. He quickly figured out what was wrong and needed to be done. THIS is the plumbing problem you do not ever want to have. Having someone did up 35 feet of front yard to find a burst or leaky pipe is always going to be expensive. On top of that you're paying the City for thousands of gallons of water that is just flooding away. H & K Plumbing and Kevan dug up the yard, found the two pipe leaks, replaced the broken pipe, and solved the entire problem within a few hours. Once again, excellent work, excellent customer service, all at an excellent price. Most importantly to me - Kevan once again always shows excellent craftsmanship and pride in his work! Thanks!

+ 4 moreH&K Plumbing to the rescue again! H&K Plumbing had previously replaced my Solar Hot Water Heater and Solar Panels and had done all the necessary plumbing work association with this project. Kevan had done such an excellent job I hired him immediately to "fix" 30 years worth of other people's "DIY Plumbing" that had been done before I purchased my house. Kevan re-plumbed all the outdoor plumbing and fixtures, repaired and re-plumbed my outdoor pool shower, and repaired my outdoor sprinkler system to get it working again. H&K Plumbing and Kevan once again did an excellent job. I was extremely pleased. Again, it was high quality work, craftsmanship and pride, and all at a reasonable price. I would be very difficult to find a better plumber and craftsman than Kevan. He is my plumber for life!
