Supplier performed his job well but was 1.5 hours late for his original scheduled time. I had to call him to remind him of our appointment time. I called him about 30 minutes past the scheduled time. He was always cordial and said he would be here in a half hour. 45 mins later he called for me to re-relay directions as he was unsure of where he was in relation to my house. After relaying directions 2 times this day, he (and his son?) finally arrived. They were very nice and went to work immediately. He offered to sweep my dryer vent but I reminded him twice that it was 8" long and probably was not clogged. They swept the chimney that hadnt been swept in 10 years, and found no issues. They also cleaned all of last years ash out of the fireplace. That was a nice touch that I didnt expect. I actually was expecting to clean the fireplace out myself as the ash was sitting there all summer. The only thing I wished that they had done was to go on the roof to inspect the chimney cap to ensure that there was no issue with the screen and such. In my one story house, that didn't seem too difficult. I could have done that, but thats what I thought was included. Next time I will be persistent.

They arrive on time and well prepared. They explained what they were going to do and proceeded to clean out the chimney. They were very professional, knowledgeable, thorough and did an excellent job capturing the soot so it would not get in the house. They also repaired a crack in the fireplace floor. I would definitely use them again.

The owner and his son, a very well-behaved and intelligent high school student, cleaned the dryer vent thoroughly. If they were my next door neighbors I couldn't have been more pleased. Unfortunately, they are not.

They arrived promptly at the specified time, completed their tasks professionally, and were friendly and gave helpful advice. I intend to have them service my dryer yearly.

After a lengthy scheduling process, service was scheduled and the tech arrived on time. Very courteous, friendly and professional. Task was completed in short order, and we are pleased with the results!

It went very well overall. Less than two hours for the work and cleanup. Mr. Golden is very thorough in his work and very reasonable in his pricing.

Charles and his assistant Paula were able to come two days after my request call. They removed accumulated lint from the dryer vent (it's incredible to me that Arizona building code allows dryer to vent vertically on the roof. Never had such a situation in my entire life). Paula took the fake logs from the propane fire place and clean each one, then reassembled the logs very close to the original arrangement. During that time, Charles was on the roof installing a mesh cover on top of the chimney cap. No fuss, no muss. Extra credit for showing me how to light the fire place and turn the propane tanks on and off.

Service started on time and was completed in a reasonable amount of time. When we bought the house, we saw that there were some small cracks in the chimney. We were reluctant to use it until someone could tell us it was safe to use. They inspected the chimney, cleaned it, and installed a cap to prevent rain and debris from falling into the chimney. It has all worked well!

Called them to make an appointment. They arrived promptly and cleaned the chimney, leaving no mess behind. Only issue was that they were listed as an Angie's List Big Deal when we called to book them, and they did not let us know about the option. But it was our fault for not being more observant about emails and specials.

Charles arrived on time, got right to work and got the vent cleaned out in quick time. He is a very nice person, very professional and kept the mess to a minimum, even though it was one of our rare, rainy days.

Appt was scheduled for 2-4 pm, and Charles arrived early after calling in advance. He also voluntarily scheduled our appt for a Sunday. All 3 services were completed quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. Charles is very personable and obviously knows his craft quite well. He was very careful to explain any additional costs and getting my approval before performing the new services. The overall experience was excellent, and I would definitely recommend Charles and his company to anyone. Even though I feel the prices paid were fair I was surprised to get an Angies List Big Deal the very next day offering Golden Co. doing a chimney sweep and cleaning for $10 less than I was charged.

I submitted a service request on the company website. Charles, the owner, contacted me within the hour to talk about my service needs and set an appointment for the next day. Charles and his son arrived at the agreed upon time after calling again to confirm the appointment. They were both professional, quick, and clean. When writing up the service invoice, Charles asked where I heard about the company. I told him Angie's List and he rewrote the invoice with a discount. That was much appreciated. I would definitely use Golden Dryer Vent and Chimney Sweep again.

Cleaning went quickly and no problems were found.

He cleaned the vents and also the dryer. He got it done quickly and we have had no problems since.

Cleaned all the air ducts, taking precautions to not to spread the dust, debris. Cleaned each vent cover one at a time. He had a good, courteous and hard working team. They also cleaned the dryer vent which we debated whether or not to do. We had heard about fires due to dirty dryer vents and decided to have that done also. They showed us just how bad it was and was definitely a fire hazard. I would recommend and hire them again.

They arrived on time and cleaned out the dryer vent. There was lint stuck in the vent so we were glad to have this done and avoid a possible fire. The work didn't take very long, they cleaned the vent and made sure all was working well and went on their way.

They arrived on time and prepared for the job. Everything seemed to be going alright, and cleared a huge amount of accumulated lint (the place was built in 1977 and i don't believe the vents were ever cleaned) onto my back porch but they cleaned that up before leaving. There did seem to be some sort of problem but i was busy with trying to prepare for the arrival of my furniture. When i went upstairs after they left, i found the exhaust vent ripped out of the ceiling and a 4-inch wire brush head with embedded lint on the floor. There was ceiling material and wood chips all over the upstairs bathroom. I was pretty upset. I took pictures of the problem, sent them to the vendor and they responded immediately. He returned the next day, fixed the vent ( I had already cleaned up the mess). Although i didn't get a good explanation for what happened, the owner was respectful and fixed the damage.

Great job. There was some confusion on the scheduling of the appointment. I called and spoke with the owner and to make sure I was happy he came after his normal business hours to perform the work. I truly appreciated that extra effort.

They were very prompt. Very Professional, friendly. My washer and dryer are stacked on top of each other and put in a built in closet. (No easy feat.) I haven't moved these since they were put in eight years ago. Crew came in moved washer and dryer and took the time for my plumber (Journeyman Plumber) who was here doing work to check pipes in back to make sure all is well. Golden Dryer Vent and Chimney Sweep cleaned out dryer vents and returned to washer an dryer to closest, leaving me large moving pads for free under appliances . Great group of people. Calling them this week to come clean my chimney in my fireplace outside. A nice touch, they left me a magnet on my dryer as a reminder to clean next year. I am ICU nurse who works burn unit. I have been worried about the inability for move these monster and clean vents. Vents are the number one cause of fires in homes. I am very grateful to Golden Dryer Vent and Chimney Sweep for making cleaning my vents easy and inexpensive. Great job guys
