This is how all home repair experiences should be! I was able to reach company right away and schedule appointment. They showed up when they were supposed to, finished the work efficiently, charged what was estimated and were pleasant throughout the whole experience.

My husband has been attempting to clean out our dryer vent from the roof. Little did we know that he was missing so much! The tech that came to our house was fast, efficient, courteous and filled a large bag . My drying time has been cut by 2/3's!

Family owned business; everyone showed up on time and got to work immediately. I was impressed as their professionalism, willingness to help me move a table into another room and how clean they left everything. They were efficient and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them! I will have them back to clean out my dryer venting ASAP.

This is the second time I have used Charles. First time was for dryer vent cleaning. He is very professional and prompt. You feel comfortable around Charles he is extremely knowledge. He patched holes in fireplace and measure for new cap. I plan to use him each year for my dryer vent and my chimney.

Golden Dryer Vent and Chimney sweep came to our house at the appointed time and spent two hours carefully cleaning and inspecting the fireplace and chimney. They suggested further repairs of a new custom chimney cap (which I knew was needed due to previous inspection by the gas company), replacing the door to the ash bin, which I knew was rusted out, and some repair work to the chimney brick, which was not a surprise considering the age of the house and chimney, and the knowledge that nothing had been done in the past 12 years. We wrote a check for the recommended repairs, and were told that they would be completed within two to three weeks, depending on delivery of materials. It's always a gamble writing a check for services that are promised, rather than delivered, but Golden Dryer Vent and Chimney Sweep were as good as their word. Within two weeks we had a new custom-made chimney cap, a new ash bin door, and the required repair of the chimney. I would definitely call upon this business again for any dryer vent or chimney needs, and I can whole-heartedly endorse their services.

Charles took my call immediately even though he was on the roof of a house!! He asked me to email my needs and possible dates. I did and heard back from him a few hours later. They came within 5 days of my call and they came promptly, they were polite, on time , made sure my house stayed clean. They inspected my dryer vent as well as my chimney. - I was very impressed and will hire them for all my chimney and dryer vent needs!

I bought the $59.00 Dryer Vent deal from Angie's List. When I called to schedule, expecting to need a few weeks to have my vents cleaned, the nice gentleman on the phone said he had a team out in my area that day, would it be alright to have them come between a couple of other jobs. I agreed, the team arrived on time, went right to work, and that was it! The workers were thourough and polite.

The called to tell me they were on their way. They arrived promptly. The cleaned the dryer vent and fixed the hose in the back. They put a piece of wood behind my dryer so the hose will not get damaged in the future.

Excellent job. Very friendly yet professional and explained what the service entailed in details. Showed proper working of flu and went on roof to fix the damper to improve wind draft for smoke removal.

They arrived on time and did a thorough job cleaning the chimney. They used appropriate items to make the process as clean as possible and cleaned up before they left.

Made appointment two weeks before the date. Slight mix-up, with office staff who I thought was the 15 of December and when he was a no show, I called and the appointments was made for the following Saturday of December 22nd. I felt the owner, who I talked to was genuine and apologized about the mix up. Next time I will ask specifically to repeat the date and time and not rely on "next Saturday". Came exactly at 10 AM, called 15 minutes before his arrival time. One worker started with the cleaning inside the fireplace, and the other started on the outside cleaning the chimney with a wire pole. Pulled out debris and inspected the brick, mortar and other parts that made up the fire-place. Gave me a good report that the fireplace is in excellent condition and no issues were found. I initiated how much a screen for the top of the chimney would be since a t-shirt and a nest with 2 dead birds were found. He stated it would be $150 including installation, but since I was on Angie's list and it would be a minimal work, and he had an extra one that was standard he would charge me $100. I felt it was more than a fair price and a needed addition. By the time he had finished installing the screen on top of the chimney, his worker had finished the cleaning of the inside fireplace and area around the face of the fireplace. They left the area very clean. Total time just little over 1 hour.

I wasn't here when they did the service. My husband seemed very impressed with them because they were a small company and the owner and his wife came out to do the job. They really cared about the results and he felt like they knew what they were doing and my husband had a more critical eye than I. They did a good job and didn't leave a mess when they left. My sister was living in the guest house and she had sneezing fits which stopped after they did the service. Our house was built in the 40's and probably never had the ducts cleaned. They really worked hard and we got a great value for the money.

Mr. Golden will be hired again for his professionalism and knowledge of his craft.

I purchased a condo with a fireplace. Before using it, I wanted it checked out. This company came, cleaned it and checked. I am pleased with their service and feel safer using the fireplace.
