Desert Valley Aire is a company that is very professional from the individuals making the appointments to the technician that came out to service my units. The technician, Jonathon, was punctual, pleasant and very efficient in performing his work. I would definitely recommend Desert Valley Aire to anyone looking of an excellent heating and cooling company.

Doug the agent for Desert Vally Aire was extremely knowledgeable and informed me in regards to thermostat and other aspects of the heating and cooling system.

They came-went right to work. No kidding around and we had our air conditioner up and running in just a little over an hour.

IT WAS VERY NICE FOR A CHANGE HE TOLD WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO TO GET AS MUCH LIFE OUT MY UNIT TILL I CAN AFFORD TO BUY A NEW ONE. I FELT SO MUCH BETTER AFTER THEY LEFT.

We were very happy with the service and the 2 young men from Desert Valley Aire were polite and worked very hard. The temprature the day we had this done was 110 and I am sure hotter on the roof. We ended up buying a 5 year service contract from the company.

I have a service contract with them for the last 4 years. They are fine and great. I have recommended them to neighbors and friends. They come annually to check the furnace and a/c and clean the same.

The visit went very well. Scott was punctual, professional, and took time to answer my questions and offer practical advice on maintenance. He suggested adding a surge protector, start assist, and condensate stop to improve our current system, but he was not pushy or manipulative in making these recommendations. Also, when we opened up the A/C cover, we found a black widow spider just sitting there. He killed it - at no extra charge.

They are superb. They listen. They work with my budget. They don't make me spend money that I don't need to. They find remedies. They are courteous. They clean up after themselves. They give me a lot of useful information. They have been helping me with my air duct fiber glass issue and been very good with it.

Yearly maintenance performed and warranty purchased at fair price.

I have a maintenance contract so I had already prepaid. They are very knowledgeable in that they suggested a part for my older model unit. He suggested a surge protector, which doesn't come with my unit regularly. I added that. They are very knowledgeable but they are not pushy. They give me options. I haven't compared their pricing.

A nightmare! After having what we found to be unnecessary repair work done, had our ceiling fall in where they did the work due to a full pan which should have been dealt with during the original call. Had to fight with company to honor the warranty we insisted on, along with repairing the damage caused. After a lot of hassle, they did repair the ceiling, but only because we had the warranty in writing. They try to sell a service plan, more than worrying about the work that needs to be done. Steer clear!!

We were told that the motor on our AC unit, which is only 4 yrs. old, was about to burn out and was leaking oil. We were also told that we lacked a drainage pan on our furnace. We were quoted $600.00 for the motor and to extend our service plan and $400.00 for the furnace pan. We have an extened service plan with our Home Warrenty and called them to have a service person look at the AC and Furnace. 1st. both are in good shape, 2nd no oil was leaking, 3rd, if we needed the motor on the AC to be replaced it would only cost $100.00 including labor and the Furnace pan would only be $15.00 but we didn't need one. This company tried to get over $1,000 out of us for our AC and Furnance which were both in good working order. The Freeon in the AC was low by 6 oz. so the service guy we called replaced it. Do not use Desert Valley Aire. They will call and say that they are providing a free inspection of your AC and Furnance and then tell you something is wrong and sell you a one to two year service plan. We fell for that last year and probably didn't need anything then either. But we bought a 1 year plan with 2 servicings for $200.00. Never Again. Always get a second bid. Our Home Warrenty only charged us $55.00 for a service person to come out and inspect our appliances. Big difference from $1,000.00.

They did have to exchange air conditioners due to the one they brought would not fit in the small space. Old a/c was over 15 years old. I'm happy and so are my new, lower rates!

First of all, I must say that Desert Valley Aire was very kind, professional, courtious, and had much compassion on our situation. We previously has just purchased a foreclosed home in which needed several repairs. We did our homework, getting several quotes ranging from the definate $1000.00 to having to actually replace our system. Desert Valley Aire well exceeded our expectations by replacing parts, cleaning coils, sealing the system and providing us with a maintance program, for less than half the cost. They even resolved an issue that we incountered with improper air flow throught our home. I have since referred their company to all my family, friends, neighbors, and co- workers. Thank You so much!!!

We signed a ten year preventative maintenance contract for $1600. Their original visit would have cost over $500 for routine maintenance. So thinking we would save money (since the $500 would be counted toward the contract fee) we signed up. The second maintenance visit we were told our AC unit would last about 6 more months unless we had extensive work done, costing $500 with contract ($1115 without) or get a new unit (they sell AC units). We got a second opinion (from Angie's list recommendation) and realized we had been grossly over charged and the unit was still in good condition. We were able to cancel the contract and got $800 of our original $1600 back. Not counting the $50 cancellation fee, they kept $750 dollars for two preventative maintenance visits where no major service was performed. Wish we had consulted Angie's list before contacting Desert Valley Aire, but we have learned a valuable lesson. Hopefully others will learn from our mistake.

Bad, really bad. We have a house warranty, after calling them and inspecting the unit, I was told the unit needed servicing, this is 6 days after Desert Valley was in our home.

The result was a positive one for me. My air conditioner is running much better.

After getting the estimate, I called Noble Refrigeration, and they confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the Condensor fan motor, and that they could see that the top of the A/C had been loosened and was just laying on top with nothing holding it down, and several other things has been loosened. I called Desert Air and cancelled my service order, and they told me they could not because it had already been charged to my credit card. I asked them how they could charge my card before they had done the work. After several phone calls and discussions, they finally issued a credit to my credit card. Noble Refr. undid whatever Deser Air had done to make my A/C work again. Desert Air told me that my A/C, which is on my roof) was very old and would go out soon. Noble informed me that it was not very old. Later, the fan blade of the air conditioner blew off. Again it appeared that the screws had been loosened on it some time back. Noble said that once those are tightened down properly, they never blow off. He also said it usually would be sucked back into the A/C and would have torn it up. Luckily this did not.

Very frustrating to find out that the look inside my A/C unit was going to cost me $170 dollars. I asked to speak with the boss and the price quickly was dropped to $110, which I went ahead and paid. My main problem was that they didn't mention that they charge $55 to drive to your house (Service Call) nor did the tech. mention it when they arrived. Second problem was that they gave me a "no guarantees" verbal quote of $900 to repair the broken pipe and refill my decade old A/C unit with Freon. I told the tech that I would rather replace the unit with a new more efficient model and then asked what I would owe for today. At that point they mentioned the $170 bill for the 5 min. inspection. Then I asked to speak with their supervisor, and the price was immediately dropped by $60. This company should never be called to perform any service work!
