I previously gave this company 5 stars. I take it all back. This company is not someone you want to deal with. They are just out to make a buck. They helped us out in a pinch and we signed up for their 5 yr (2x/yr $1,000) maintenance contract. When something went wrong with our 4 yr old system they told us the entire system needed to be replaced ($9,400). Got two second opinions and had repairs done (most parts under warranty) for under $1,800. When I asked to cancel the maintenance contract they said we had used $1,000 worth of services in 3 visits and would not refund a penny. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY - Like I am.

Overcharged and tried to sell me a new unit when one was not needed. Fast talking sales pitch. No Thanks!

We had an emergency on the 2nd. We had water running through our ceiling from our air conditioning. We called them and they came out within a half hour and fixed it. We signed up for a five year maintenance agreement with them. They do it every six months. The technician we had was just excellent.

We would say it didn't go well and at this time we have lost confidence in your company in telling us the truth. We have decided to cancel our contract with you, and we feel that considering the circumstances we should be given a refund for the remainder of our contract. It seems that the only idea was to get us to purchase a new unit, that wasn't needed. We are wondering how many others have been tricked into purchasing a new unit when a repair would have worked just fine. When a person purchases a contract with your company, I think you should be honest and upfront instead of making people feel they need to get a 2nd opinion and pay out of pocket. Thankfully we had someone we could call without having to invest a lot of extra money.

I scheduled a final preventive maintenance contract service call with Desert Valley Aire and after checking the unit the last thing their technician Mike said to me before leaving is “good luck staying warm” in a menacing tone which caused me to be concerned that he may have sabotaged my 6 year old heat pump unit. About 1 month later my heat pump unit stopped heating and the cause was a copper wire which was touching a copper pipe suction line causing a short which made a hole in that line resulting in all of the freon leaking out of the unit. I phoned Desert Valley Aire and told their master service technician Rick about Mike’s comment and my heat pump unit not heating and he told me he’s sorry I took MIke’s comment out of context and that I couldn’t prove anything, their service manager Alex who works out of their Phoenix location also told me I’m sorry you took Mike’s comment that way during several different conversations. My experience is that Desert Valley Aire’s company philosophy is to blame their customers and not hold their technician accountable for poor customer service at the very least. I scheduled an appointment with Advantage Home Performance whose technicians are very professional, thorough and customer oriented and repaired the unit at a price $100 to $150 lower than Alex admitted his company would have charged for the repair and my heat pump unit has operated properly and efficiently since the repair.

The service representative that was sent to our home was excellent arriving on time and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with his work.

Turns out it was a normal defrosting process of the unit (like I said, this is my first experience with with an HVAC unit). He duplicated the sound and explained what was going on as a protective feature of the unit. He continued to check the unit with all of his gages, caught where two lines were touching and fixed that so a leak did not ensue in the future, and also looked at the handler. He was very thorough. Will definitely use their services in the future and will recommend to friends and neighbors.

Ryan was very proficient and professional. kept his working area very clean. made sure to let me know that he had turned off the lights in the attic.

The technician, Eric, was very professional, very knowledgeable, very efficient. He diagnosed the issue, discussed it with me and then went and did the repair and the scheduled maintainence. I am very pleased with the service and would gladly recommend Desert Valley Aire, and Eric, to anyone.

The work was done immediately the service man Cory has been my A/C guys for 3 yrs now. Very professional courteous and knowledgeable .

My most recent service call went well. I had a concern and question which I called the company about after service was completed. They responded immediately and made certain the work was done correctly by sending out another technician. This is a good quality company under good quality management.

No major problems found. Thermostat adjusted and checked for the "heating" season. All filters inspected and replaced if needed.

Installation was scheduled for the next day. The installers were prompt and courteous during the installation and did a very professional job of installing the new system. I would recommend Desert Valley Aire, Inc. for regular heating or cooling maintenance or major repairs.

As I said above, Rudy is great, and most importantly, I trust him. I strongly recommend Desert Valley Aire.

Employees were courteous and easy to talk to. They went over my options but did not pressure me into a purchase. I had to reschedule twice due to my schedule changing unexpectedly and they were patient and willing to change my appointment.

This was a new system and they have done great work for me. If I ever had issues I am reassured they will come out that day to fix the issue. I'm really glad with how its worked out.

Everyone I speak with is polite and friendly, and it starts with the schedulers. From there, Cory was professional and non-aggressive in explaining to us what work was needed on the unit. I was able to ask questions, he explained what was up and also showed me pics of the unit. He was right on time, fast, and friendly. It's a great company
