Description of Work: Concrete work appears to have been done ok. Major issue with professionalism. There was some property damage. The first instance involved a broken window on a vehicle. The offer of repair for this instance was not satisfactory to me as the offer involved a used part. Handled it on my own and received new glass from my insurance. The liability for that, however, rested on their shoulders. Another instance resulted in a condition that bothered me significantly as I was not told that something had happened. Nothing significant occurred because of that but it could have. Cleanup was marginal at best. There is still concrete splatter on the side of the house. Another unprofessional instance was while making notes, the owner wrote on the electric meter box with a permanent marker. Will need to be repainted. I have not heard from them again. I expected them to want to check on the concrete to see if it had set ok. Plan to do more concrete work but will not even entertain the thought of using these people again. Do not recommend this company/people for any sort of work.

Description of Work: Did a great job on our front walk & porch. Was able to make the changes in the layout that I wanted and add concrete reinforcement rods to prevent the new concrete slabs for getting out of alignment again (like the old ones did, forcing us to redo the walk). One irritating item: Did not come back and pick up all the left over concrete forms (concrete coated 2 x 4's) In spite of repeated promises that the forms would be picked up, I had to pick them up from the front yard before our guests arrived for a party.

To prevent the potential for future problems, RT installed rebar dowels into the adjoining existing concrete to help bond the new pour with the existing and to prevent lifting in the future. He also installed wire mesh to prevent any severe cracking. This was above and beyond what the original concrete contained, and if it had been done, I probably wouldn't have needed to replace it. RT researched the trench drain alternatives, recommending a cost effective solution that I believe will meet all my needs. The work crew showed up on time each day and kept the area pretty orderly for a construction site. The project was done on time and budget. Roger was responsive throughout the process, from a timely quote, through the execution of the project he was reachable with phone or email. This was very refreshing. He will be my go to guy for any future concrete work I may have.
Description of Work: I had a 10 year old concrete apron to my garage that had heaved and was causing rain water to be directed into the garage. I had RT Concrete remove the bad concrete, replace with new, and add a drain to ensure water didn't enter the garage in the future.

He told me that his guys were there for the day and if I needed anything extra, there would be no extra charge. He'll just have them do what I needed. They showed up on time.  + 1 moreI requested fixed price bids from eight different contractors all of whom I found on Angie's List. I had a very difficult time finding a concrete contractor because most of them claimed to be too busy or thought my job was too small. Roger w/ RT Concrete came out the day after I called him and went over the job scope with me. He was very appreciative that I had clearly defined the scope of the job and written out exactly what I wanted. RT Concrete submitted a firm price bid by the end of the week that was very reasonable. They started work the following week. At the completion of each stage of the project RT Concrete submitted an invoice for the work completed up to that point. Since completing my project, at least three of my neighbors have hired RT Concrete to repair concrete drives and block walls after witnessing their work at my home.
Description of Work: I hired RT Concrete to do a lot of small masonry repair work and some concrete flat work. The total of which ammounted to about 2 weeks worth of work. Work included repairing about 60 linear feet of block wall that was deteriorating Extending another block wall Rebuilding two cinder block pillars for an RV gate Removing and old brick mailbox and repairs several brick planters Digging out and pouring a new slab foundation for an extension to the garage

The work was performed professionally and work area left clean. I feel comfotable when I recommend them and would use them again on any concrete work.
Description of Work: I had a sunken living room that made the room layout difficult. Roger and his team helped finish removing some of the existing hardwood floor and professionally filled in that section of the room with concrete.

He was pleasant to work with a breath of fresh air from so many lousy construction contractors and subcontractors still in business.

 + 1 moreRoger is very responsive over the phone and email. Was able to look at pictures on email and determine the size of the job. Emailed a written contract detailing the work, very professional, knows what he is doing. Eventually he came out to take a look before I made a decision. I ended up not doing the job due to other reasons, but RT Concrete was at the top of my list for the work. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Needed a quote for adding a concrete slab next to the pool, then finishing off the decking to match the pool decking. Also to grade the slope correctly so water would drain to the yard.
