We had already leveled the ground. Roger came out and I shared my general vision for what I wanted poured. I wanted rounded edges - lots of curves. Some broomed and some exposed aggregate. He quickly saw what I was thinking and offered lots of really good suggestions. He thinks like a landscape architect. He was thinking in terms of aesthetics as well as flow of traffic. His estimate was significantly higher than "the other guy", but that "other guy" did not offer anything beyond what I was telling him to do. Roger took my ideas and expanded them. The work was done in a timely manner and it turned out beautifully! In addition, the guys actually cleaned up after themselves. There was a little bit of residual cement on the ground, but nothing excessive. I had to have a little masonry work done as well (we had torn down a block pillar in order to use the tractor in the back yard). Roger had hired a subcontractor to take care of building the new pillar, raising the height of my wall, and adding stucco. Roger came out after that work was done and inspected the stucco. He was not satisfied - the stucco was done in a different pattern than my existing wall. He immediately called the subcontractor and insisted that it be re-done. (I paid separately for the masonry/ stucco work).

Added another 100 Sq ft for another $800. Wood deck was demo'd and concrete poured but they ran out of mud and was short 8 inches so they took off $20. Workers never came back to complete clean up or finished removing the outline boards. Entire job was messy. Have overflow of concrete on my pavers, splatter on my house, and wooden stakes concreted into the ground that I cannot remove. Tried multiple times to contact Roger regarding original scheduling, timing, and eventually clean up and rarely heard back. Last time I spoke with him was about a refund for clean up since I had to do all of it because his guys never came back to finish the work. And I never got my refund. The concrete pour and slab are great but overall the lack of communication and clean up was an amazingly huge disappointment.

He repair stem cracks. -Clean stem at cracks. -fill cracks with a cememntuous caulking, skim larger repair. -caulk along fireplace gaps. -chip back loose concrete in garage stem and patch back. Roger Navarro a real nice person to talk to. I would hire him again.

He never returned calls even though I called and texted several times asking him to respond. I do not know what his service is like but he was very poor at responding even if only to say his worker couldn't do it. No one showed up and I never got any help.

Roger is very easy to work with. Met him and highlighted what was needed. He met the date and work commitment. Had asked for another quote on additional work but he did not follow through on providing the quote.

He's really knowledgeable on making sure that the water drained away from the house instead of towards the house so he tried to grade everything that it goes towards like the sides and everything like that which I would have never thought about that. He kind of let us know what the expectations were and things like that so he's really knowledgeable on what needed to be done, what concrete. They were on time whenever they did need to come like if he said that they're coming at a certain day and time, they were there. When I first called and get an estimate from him, he came out. He just let me know that his cellphone, he didn't use messages sometimes. He told me different ways to get a hold of him.

Roger came out and gave us an estimate on all the work. My husband had some questions, so Roger came back on a Saturday to answer those questions. My husband was very impressed with Roger. He explained everything he was going to do, how long it would take and the price. We got two other estimates and Roger's was by far the most reasonable. He sent a crew to do all the work. The foreman, Edwin, was so very nice and very, very, hard workers. They were here first thing in the morning and stayed till dark. Edwin made sure that the colors were just what I wanted before applying them. They cleaned everything up before leaving. The patio looks AMAZING and we love the front porch. I would highly recommend this company for future jobs...we couldn't be happier!

The home we purchased had a rather limited pool patio (cool deck) area. We needed someone who could remove the existing concrete, pour a new and larger concrete area, coordinate the new cool deck coating/painting, and haul the broken concrete away. Roger and his team far exceeded our expectations and did a great job. Roger was juggling a number of projects but his team jumped in and did a very professional job. They we careful not to hit existing irrigation lines and when we spotted a leak they quickly replaced the PVC. They stayed on schedule, made the pour, and 10 days later the cool deck was applied. Perhaps the toughest part was that the pool and concrete were some 50 or 60 feet below the driveway level and maybe 100 feet from the street. They poured the concrete that far down the hill and hauled the broken out concrete back up the hill to remove it. Everything they said they'd do they did professionally- I would definitely work with Roger and his team again.

Work went well. Immediately after they finished, even before the concrete dried, it was cracked. They told us that it was just debris and not to worry about it (it was alight crystal looking crack). The crack was ugly and huge within days. We wet the concrete for weeks and would not even walk on it. The two guys Roger hired to do our work yelled and said that we parked our car on it the day they poured the cement! It was ridiculous. We never heard from Roger again, so we contacted AZROC - the day before AZ rock came Roger came unannounced and poured a filler over the concrete which did not take care of the crack and looked terrible. AZROC agreed that the crack was large enough in areas to fit a nickle in and extended our coverage through AZROC another two years. But the entire project is horrible, and Roger will not respond, only to AZROC, so there is no point. I will add pictures. We work hard to have a beautiful home, and now the front of our home looks terrible because of this company.

After discussing the project with my husband, we decided not to go ahead with the Big Deal and requested a refund. But the staff that I spoke to on the phone was very nice, professional, and I would use them again in future.

't had some trouble getting started. Probably mostly at my end. We never seemed to talk / message when we were both immediately available. I had a lot going on and didn't check messages frequently enough. During the preliminary meeting, care was taken that the job was well understood and they even created a picture of the job for my wife as I had not been very good at this. They arrived as promised and did the work well. When it was done we were both happy with the job that had been done. Everyone from RK Concrete did their job professionally and carefully. And, they had people skills that are somewhat beyond my current abilities to describe. Thanks!

The service did not go well. What they were offering was a subpar product. They say you get 3 inches of concrete with no steel. That means you will end up having cracks. They wanted to charge extra to do the service properly. I had to wait 4 weeks to get them scheduled. Most of that time was me contacting them and rarely getting a response. I had to contact the company back after the service after noticing a crack in the concrete. The technician did not seem to be concerned about the issue. I was not happy with the service whatsoever and would not use this company again.

This turned out just fine. It was work on a rental house. They took out an old sidewalk, removed a tree root, and installed a new sidewalk. They called and informed me of everything, so I would say I was fairly happy.

We are very happy with the job performed. Roger and his crew came early and got everything prepared. When the cement truck came Roger and the fellas went to work. Refreshing to see the owner work with his fellas and do such a nice job. The crew was enjoyable to be around. We closed an in ground spa and had an additional area by our pool equipment filled in also. Roger and his crew cleaned up the site and had everything back to normal in short order. We were so impressed we are having them back to pour an additional area next week that has major drainage problems whenever it rains. When we finish the back yard next year Roger is the person we will call. You can have complete confidence that Roger will get the job done correctly the first time. One other thing you should know about this provider is he charges what he said he would and does not add additional charges at the last minute. That is also something we have experienced with other providers. Nice to work with people that have integrity.

I received an email from Roger within hours of purchasing the Angie's deal. I let him know two dates and times I was available to meet. He let me know he might not make the first one, but would try. When he didn't show up for the first meeting (this was not a problem for me), I emailed him to let him know I'd see him the following Monday. He called me and assured me he'd be at the house at 8:00. He did not show up until 9:30. He measured the sections that needed to be replaced and explained what his process for removal and pour were. He did not say anything about the job being larger than the 100 sq ft offered in the Angie's deal so I was a bit surprised when I received an email with a quote for another $900. The total cost was still pretty reasonable, but Roger should have told me that there would be an additional cost. He told me they wanted to start between 6:30 and 7:00 am on May 28. When they had not arrived by 7:45 I called him. I got excuses about needing to put air in the tire and getting a different piece of equipment. Again, I was surprised as he had been so adamant about starting early. I left for work before they arrived. When I got home they had removed and hauled away the old concrete and everything was neat. He had said they'd be back at 6:00 am on May 29. He called at 5:50 to tell me they would arrive in about an hour. Again, he did not keep his start time. I worked from home that day and they did arrive before 8:00. He showed me what they had found during the concrete removal and what they would be doing that day. During our first meeting I had specifically asked if they would need the garage doors open for any part of the work. Roger told me no. When the arrived on pouring day he asked for the doors to be opened. I don't know what I would have done if I had needed to work in the office that day. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality of the work the three man team did and I would use them again. I would expect Roger to keep his commitments on appointment times and work start times.

Never showed and did not respond to text, phone, or email. His delay held up all my other construction projects. He also promised a bid on a large (3000 sq ft) paver job and never even sent the bid.

Very prompt with both the estimate and actual work had to be called back for a small repair in original work and came out immediately and had it fixed no questions asked. Excellent value

I was very happy with the final product, Roger the owner first came out for the evaluation and quote for the job. I sent an email after finding him on Angies list and he got back to me promptly. to schedule a visit within 2 days. We spoke about the project and he gave me many new ideas and suggestions which made the final outcome better then I expected. Once the job was started it was a quick turn around and they were finished in two days. One day to setup the frame work for the concrete and a second day for the pouring and finishing. The people that worked with Roger were as professional and easy to work with as he was. The final outcome was a nice looking slab for both the shed and the barbecue and the area was cleaned up nicely and all the landscape rock put back into place. There was little I had to do but build the shed that was being place on the one slab. I am very happy with the overall experience and would use them again for sure.

I contacted the provider regarding getting an estimate for replacing a gravel driveway with a concrete driveway. I called and left a voice message after reading the glowing reviews on Angie's List. Spoke directly with Roger and we set up an appointment time to meet at my home to review what needed to be done. I am a physician and took the afternoon off work to meet with this gentleman. He stated he had another job in the morning and would come over as soon as he was finished. I waited for hours and never heard back from him. I called and left a voice mail to which he never responded. There was a substantial cost to me in terms of lost time at work plus the frustration of waiting around for someone to show up - and then have a no-show! Although this company might do beautiful work, I would be very, very hesitant to proceed with a major project with them based on my initial experience!

Roger came out to provide an estimate and took a lot of measurements. He told me he'd be able to get the estimate by the weekend, but actually had it in my email that same day. I approved and we agreed on the next week and it would take about 3-4 days because we needed to perform grading and two pours. After the first pour I paid around 30-40% of the total estimate, after the second pour paid another 40-50%, and then after the column rebuild and gate hang paid the balance. We did have a problem with the column rebuild as the gate was too heavy to be hung on a freshly rebuilt column and the column ended up drying out of plumb. After calling Roger, he immediately had his team out to fix it and they spent the whole day correcting the issue and did an awesome job! RT Concrete crews are friendly and stop to talk with you if you happen to come out and see how the job is going - they don't ignore you or try to avoid you. Very professional. I will use them again in the future for all my concrete needs. Thanks Roger and team!

He was very professional, seemed to know what he was talking about as far as the details that was needed to be done. I have a civil engineer actually working with him and wanted me to run by everything that he had brought to the table to get the job done. He wanted me to run up by the engineer because they have the engineer did not even have maybe another solutions to my problems. Most people just go straight with what they want to do and not offering to anybody else and above in our distance making.

I contacted Roger after reading the glowing reviews on Angie's list. After providing a quote and assuring me they can do the job, he fell off the face of the earth and stopped responding to all communications, leaving me hanging for days. I see by other reviews on here that he does the same thing to other people. I would stay away from this contractor.
