Everything went well we also received the discount of the month.

The service went very well. They custom made the door. It took a little bit to get the door ordered in that case and we also had to wait on approval from our home owners association. All of that went pretty smoothly. The only problem we had was with the re-key of the door. They brought the wrong brand of lock for the security door and were not able to make the same key for both doors. They had to send someone else out for that and it took a 1-2 weeks to get that taken care of. A sales person and an installer were out for the service. They both did a fine job and everything went as expected. I had no problem scheduling their service and they were accommodating with our schedules.

Met with the salesperson to choose a door within my price range. With his experience, he was able to answer all of my questions. The contract was signed on 11/29/2014. The install date was scheduled for 1/08/2015 and they called the day before to confirm. They called 1/2 hour prior to arrival. Matt was my installer who was extremely professional and did an excellent job. Some minor patching had to be done from removing the old door and he did an excellent job with that, too. It took less than 2 hours. After the job was completed, Matt verbally explained tips for maintaining the door, as well as provided a brochure. I would highly recommend First Impression Security Doors.

The guys that came out were pretty nice and helpful. It was a good experience and the prices were a bit high.

the screens are very nice and really help keep the rooms cooler. i can see out the windows but it is hard for someone to look into the house. the doors are very well made and look very good on the house. the salesman was very helpful with his suggestions on color and what is included in the price. the screen installer said they measured one window wrong and the next week was here with the right one. the installer of the doors did a very good job installing the doors and cleaning up after the install. the bottom piece of the patio door was measured wrong so they brought out a new one the next week. all appointments were on time and all the people i worked with were kind and professional.

We have a 3 panel glass patio door; one panel is the slider, the other two are stationary. We wanted security doors and contacted several companies for quotes and product reviews/information. We chose First Impressions after visiting their location and talking to the personnel. The representative came to our home and reviewed the process, took measurements and showed us the various patterns. We picked out pattern and they gave us an estimated installation date. Several days later we received a call confirming our installation date. We received another call the day prior, confirming a 4 hour window for the installer to arrive. The installer arrived about an hour and a half past the 4 hour window time frame. But we don't consider that a big negative. Installations don't always go as planned and there may be some delay. Our 3 panel required extra effort; one door opens for entry/exit and the other two panels are covered by a "french door" concept to allow opening for cleaning the glass. The installer did a very good job, and the product is excellent quality. We are very happy with the additional security, the attractive pattern, and the quality of the product as well as the commitments made by the company. Would absolutely use this company again, and would recommend them.

We have had work done in the past by First Impressions. There doors are very good quality but they cut the screen in one of our doors to small and it keeps coming out. When I called for a service appointment the came out once and said it would be a $75 trip charge if they had to come out again. (Like their mistake was our fault!). Well we ran into them at the home show in Sep 14 and since they did build a good door we thought we would give them another try since it didn't involve screens as we were in need of some deck railing. We scheduled an appointment for Sep 30th and Shauwn came out to our house. I explained my apprehension about using his company again but he was very nice and apologetic and said he would ensure that would not happen again. Shauwn took measurements and said he would have a quote to us by the end of the week. Well the end of the week was 8 days ago and still no word from Shauwn or anybody at First Impressions. There lack of response in both instances is extremely unprofessional and I will never use this company again for anything! Too bad, word of mouth for a good or poor company really goes a long way.

Ashley called about an hour before she came out to verify an appointment using an out of state phone number. Then she called about 15 minutes later and hung up without leaving a message. The fact that she called from an out of state number and that she didn't leave a message the second time made us feel very uncomfortable. I called the number back and asked why she called and she just said she was sorry. She arrived at 11:01 am. I then asked if she would have someone else to call me immediately to reschedule to do the estimate. I called the owners cell phone number between approximately 11am to 1pm and left a message to get an estimate. Almost 2 and a half hours passed before I got a call from Shane at about 1:30. When I spoke with Sane, he informed me that Tim, the owner, was in a meeting. I asked Shane who Ashley's supervisor was, he told me it was Terry Harden. I was willing to talk to her, but I was not able to get her phone number. I asked Shane to inform her that I would like to speak with her, but I never got a phone call. The only person I want to hear from is the owner and only by phone. Follow up: I received a voicemail from Tim Cornelius, the owner, with a second cell phone number to reach him by. I had a conversation with Tim on 9/16/2014. My conversation with him was extremely inappropriate. He told me that he left in his voicemail message, that comes on when people call him, that he was in Mexico, he did not do that. When I called him on both cell phone numbers that I have, neither of the voice messages said that. He also stated to me that he is a very busy man, as an excuse for what took him so long to call me. When I asked him whether or not Terry Harden works for his company, he told me that he had no further comment. I felt that being in Mexico was a very inappropriate excuse and I also felt it was inappropriate that he wouldn't answer whether or not Terry Harden worked for the company.

Very responsive company. Found them at the Home and Garden Show. They came out 2 days later for an estimate. The rep worked with me on a price that was acceptable. On the install date the workman was early for the appointment! Did a great job and the door looks fantastic.

Installer showed up on time called 30 minutes before driving to my house just as promised. Installed door very professional and explained everything what to and not do after installation. Was very friendly and knowledgeable. I told many of my friends already how good this company is.

This was a big purchase that I pondered for a while... I spoke to several companies before deciding on First Impressions. From the bidding process, design and installation, fantastic. And most impressive is how amazing the door looks. Great business will use again... the only downside is now I need to upgrade my courtyard gate to look as great as my front door!

excellent craftsmanship and installation, long lead time to acquire product

This was the second security screen door this company installed. The first was last fall with a double front door and this was a patio to hallway security screen. It is something we should have done 20 years ago. Although the installation time from the order time was long, we recognize that a custom door needs to be exact and it is often difficult to find a time that works for installers and our time available. The door looks great, the installer cleaned up completely after himself and was very punctual. We would definitely recommend this company.

I initially went into the showroom to look at the doors. Adam answered my questions and took my information. I wasn't ready to order the door yet, and he kept in touch with me via email for several months. When I was ready to order Adam came to my home to measure the space and explain my options and choices. I ordered the door and I was sent the design drawings within several days. Initially I was given an install date 6 weeks out, but I was called and the date was delayed one week. Every phone call and face to face contact that I had was professional and friendly. On the day of installation, Mike called beforehand to let me know he was coming. He was very thorough in his install and he went out of his way to keep the area clean. The door looks beautiful! I am very impressed with First Impressions!

I ordered the gate before the wall was completed - which I guess is a little backward. But since the gate took about 5 weeks to get (a week longer than originally quoted) I didn't want to wait for the fence to be done and then order the gate... The salesman was nice, prompt and knowledgable; I signed a waiver about the size of the wall opening. I thought that might come back to bite me, but it did not. Gate fit perfectly, it is very very attractive, and work well.

We met the company reps at the Maricopa Home & Garden Show and scheduled an appointment. Kurt, sales, was very helpful in choosing what would work best for our budget & design needs. He had a tablet, took a picture of our front door and used it to "try on" the doors we'd chosen to consider. It was interesting to see that the one I liked best did not look best on my door! We found a better choice & ordered it. TJ came out to install it (3 weeks lead time from order) and was super. He was very professional, explained our new door's features and left our home so clean I only now even considered that it could have been messy! We love the door & working with First Impression has been very smooth & we are happy with the result.

They were very professional, responsive to emails and phone calls, and made it effortless on our side. We knew we needed a new front door, had a specific idea in mind and they were very able to meet our requests.The new front door was installed in one day, their installers were very courteous and the new door is even better than we imagined it would be. It has a screen inside the door so that when we want the outside air we just open the glass panel and can get cross ventilation. I love it so much more than having a door and a screen door. They did a great job. It was a good experience, and we are very happy with the results.

We were impressed from beginning to end with this company. The showroom is nice and the sales person was very helpful and honest and offered us some suggestions and information we had not considered. The order was completed quickly and the installation went great. We can now finally leave our door open and for an evening breeze and not let bugs in or cats out.

I would like to preface this by saying I am a purchasing manager and deal with vendors all day. Customer service is paramount when deciding who to use. We did not use First Impressions because I felt the service was lacking from the beginning. This company was referred to us by a friend who had a great experience. The sales person that came over to give us a quote was right on time and knowledable about the product he was selling. But there was too much "salesman" for me. An example is, they had a door in their "outlet" that was gorgeous and I wanted to see if it would fit our opening and the price. The sales persons response was over the top "this is a perfect fit. I have NEVER seen this before" Really? Never? He wrote up the quote but did not leave it with me which I thought was odd. We then had another company come and quote us a door. I called this sales person, who was on the road to Utah for a family emergency, to ask that the quote be emailed over. He then proceeded to ask/tell me he felt I was shopping his price around. I did not like the tone of his voice or the implication, even though that was the correct assumption. That's what savvy customers do, they shop. We also stopped by their showroom on a Sat afternoon and felt like we were putting the staff out. It appears they are all on commission and we were not their customer so why should they care. I had researched this company and did not like the reviews I was seeing. In the end because of the lack of customer service we went with another company. The price is great but I had to wonder what my install would have been like based on the service we had received through the quoting process.

Cade came out and spent approximately 2hrs to give estimates on a single gate as well as a double gate. Unfortunately, you get no response from this company. After many of phone calls and more than two months later, still no estimate. The lack of communication, timely manner and professionalism will have my business sent elsewhere.

Despite the quality product this company makes, they don't appear to appreciate their existing customers. I explained exactly what I needed when I called on the phone and no one mentioned a $250 minimum. I stayed home from work to meet the salesman who promptly informed me that he could not help me with a replacement screen. One of the screens that blew down I was able to recover and I need another the exact size. Despite this, he said he couldn't provide me with a quote unless he measured the actual window AND I was going to spend $250. I don't need $250 worth of screens because I already bought screens from them! I only need to replace one screen and have it rehung. He tells me I can bring the one I have to their Gilbert showroom and they can make a replacement for me, but they would charge me an $80 trip charge to install (I don't have a ladder, but for $80, I'm pretty sure I can buy a very nice one and install them myself!) Customer service and word of mouth referrals are important aspects of business. As I stated, I have spent a lot of money with this company (Screens and doors for 4 different houses) and I have also told friends about them. As a customer they should be interested in helping me replace the screens I bought from them. *UPDATE* After posting my review above, Manager Mike West contacted me and worked with me to get my screen replaced. He had someone pick up my existing screen, make a new one to match and arranged for installation. I'm very glad to see this level of service from First Impression as I have used them for years and wasn't feeling valued as a customer after my previous interaction. They more than made up for it and I would be happy to use them again.

$1280 Dollars for a plain white metal 4ft high 10ft long straight pool fence and gate. I went into the Gilbert showroom, had all dimensions and I said I was willing to go with stock sizes, nothing custom, Cheep. The man explained everything was custom and the price would be $32 per square foot. The math was right but the price was much much higher than anyone else. If your project is small and price is considered you should also get a price from another fence company here on AL.

Definitely the place to go if you are looking for security doors that don't take away from your house's curb appeal. Also great for sun screens. Very fair pricing and excellent service.

The sales person and installers were very helpful. The design insert was incorrect-similar but different from the one I ordered per HOA approval. No one called me back when I called to report the error during installation. In the end the HOA agreed it was acceptable & it is a very nice door. The door was also missing it's wreath peg, but installers returned 48 hours later to install one.
