CC Sunscreens

We worked with Seth of CC Sunscreens and we are very pleased and impressed with his service. His estimate was very reasonable and the work was performed on time as stated. The screens are of excellent quality and look great on the house, in fact we've had several compliments from our neighbors. Plus, Seth took care of submitting the paperwork for the SRP rebate on shade screens which saved us over $200 on the total cost, and we received the rebate in record time, only 3 weeks after the work was finished! We would definitely use CC Sunscreens again and will recommend them to all of our friends and neighbors.

I contact SRP to obtain some referrals concerning solar sunscreen installation; replacing the original non-solar window screens that were 15 yrs old. I checked the companies out using such online services such as BBB and Registar of Contractors first before contacting each company. I put together a checklist of questions that I would pose with each company. If one contractor brought up a point that I wanted clarification on, I gave the other companies the chance to address that point. All three companies brought samples of their work to my house. All three used the same solar sunscreen material (textilene-a PVC-coated polyester yarn) and used aluminum frames with steel corners. Also, they offered 80% or 90% blocking versions. All three had varying product/workmanship guarantees. All prices included installation except one company that wanted $85 (+tax) for installations up to 10 screens. All promised the completed product within 14 days. CC Sunscreen was the only company that did not require a down payment first; although I was prepared to provide 25%. In the final analysis, I chose CC Sunscreens because of cost - $150 less the the other two companies BEFORE the SRP rebate; AND product guarantee which was 15 years versus 1-yr & 5-yr by the other two companies. We used the 80% blocking on the front windows, and 90% on all windows behind the fence. In preparation for the sunscreen installation, I removed all the old screens an hour before CC showed up at my door. The entire installation took approx 45-60 mins.

The installer was to be at our home between 8.30am and 9.30am. At 9.30am they called and said they would be 45 minutes late. They showed up at the revised time but didn't really have a good explanation as to why they were late. We were the first call of the day. They also promised to haul away the old sunscreens and they did eventually......5 days and multiple phone calls later.

Was the only company who offered to come out to show us screen options for this small job. Everyone else was content to trust my measurements and wanted to just take the order over the phone. They came out, measured, discussed the differences in the options, scheduled the installation earlier than planned and the installation was flawless. Great family owned business I will gladly refer in the future!

We purchased the sunscreens from Seth who came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate. We received fast and excellent service. Everything was straight forward and no hidden prices. All our questions were answered and we were given suggestions on taking care of the screens. One screen was off a half inch, which to our surprise, was fixed and installed the very next day. Steve did a great job installing them all. Our biggest decision was choosing between the 15 year and 5 year warranty. We got the 5 year warranty sunscreens only because of the color. We are pleased with the quality and are very satisfied with the service. We love our sunscreens. We recommend CC Sunscreens for their professional, efficient service and high quality sunscreens.

We couldn't be happier! Christan was very efficient getting measurements for the windows and door. We ordered 90% efficiency for the upstairs and 80% for the downstairs, with framing that matched the color of our existing window frames. That's exactly what we received and installers were very quick and all screens fit wonderfully. We have been really really pleased, it has been amazing how much difference these sunshades have made in the temperature of our house, especially the upstairs! We've already had record breaking temperatures and our power bill is still under $300.00! The sunscreens were not as expensive as we thought and really wish we had made this purchase four years ago when we bought our house. Thank you C&C Sunscreens! Also of note: Christan was very understanding when I needed to change my initial appointment and the Installers were very accommodating as our window cleaner was not finished cleaning windows when they showed up.

CC Sunscreens was the first of multiple bids to respond, and offered the best combination of price and quality, too. They measured very carefully and double- or triple-checked every step of the order so there would be no waste or delays. When one preferred typed of installation did not work well due to an oversized screen needed, CC figured out a better solution. (Builder apparently either didn't understand certain things about screens and screen doors, or didn't build for original owners' intent to screen this area.) They kept me well informed about how the order was going and times things would be scheduled. Everybody I had contact with in this small family-run business was very nice, as well as efficient!

Called and made appointment for estimate. They only got a B on punctuality because they had to cancel last minute for the initial estimate. They beat the other estimate I received by about $650. I postponed the work to coincide with getting the home painted and they installed the day after the painting was finished. The install was fast, less than 4 hours for all the screens, they look great and it really cut down the light in the house as well as making it cooler. Everyone there was professional and responded to every call..

Called and left a message. Seth returned the call promptly. We made appointment for measuring and estimates. Seth arrived on time. The measurements, estimate and rebate information was completed fast. The price to me was reasonable. After I got approval from HOA, i called him and placed my order. They were ready as stated by Seth in 7 days, they were up in no time and look great. The guys that put them up were quick and efficient. The company even took care of the rebate information. Seth came home and provide us great explanation about the type and quality screen we need , he provide us with an estimate and time frame to expect to be installed , they worked well with us as we were having an exterior pressure washing of the house and window cleaning Seth told me he would granted us the 5% off from the Angie's list coupon They came to install on time on the day they told us but was not Seth who came , anyway everything went uneventful and rightThey did a good job , were on time and my screen looks good Their price was the most competitive from the bids I got, you would wonder why I rated it B , because when they billed me they didnt take off the 5%offered and they didn't leave me the receipt ( I also forgot to ask for it as I was on my way out ) later I realized when compared to my estimate I have wrote down what he offered I left a message to Seth to ask if they would anyway grant what offered but has not returned my calls I would update my review once I get an answer from them ( i also rated B for responsiveness due to this ) otherwise the product seem to be good , competitive price and professional

We had 3 quotes and Christen's was the best by about $200.00. Christen was very easy to work with. She came out within a day and gave me a written estimate for two sides of my home. Later, when my husband and I made the decision to have the East side of the house done as well, she came back again to quote me a new total price. The screens were made (23 in all) in 8 business days and installed in about an hour on the 9th. Christen also offered to complete and send in the SRP rebate and we'll be getting back about $200 in 6 weeks. Between her already low prices and the SRP rebate, we couldn't be happier. The house looks beautiful and immediately felt cooler inside. There is a slight darkening effect to the interior of the house but in a good way! No more bright spots on my carpet or brown leather furniture. You can tell almost immediately that your AC doesn't kick on as much. With the Summer upon us, I'm excited to see the energy savings. The guys that did the install were prompt, friendly, answered my questions, did a good job and cleaned up when they were done.

They did a great job. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

I bought new sun screens for the entire house, except for the sliding glass door. Seth met me on time to measure the windows and provide an estimate. He brought samples of the screen materials and colors with him. I asked to borrow a sample book for a week to discuss it with someone else. Seth agreed to allow me to borrow the sample book.When I placed the order, I was given an estimate of when it would be ready. As I recall, the screens were ready earlier than estimated. We set up a time for the install. Seth was there on time and completed the work quickly and with detail. Seth was very professional and easy to communicate with.The entire process was smooth and easy. I would use CC Sunscreens again.

We requested a quote from CC sunscreen for a quote in april. Maria showed up to take measurements for the estimate. She did not bring a ladder with her so she measured from the inside. The quote we received was much lower than the other companies I contacted. They said they would need to retake the measurements from the outside before they could get the screens built and they would call me to schedule a time. A week went by and I didn't hear anything. I called was told I needed to speak with maria. I left my number for her to call me back. Couple days went by and I still didn't hear back. So I called again and again and again. It thought about a month to have someone come take the measurements so they could order the screens. It took another week after they took the measurements, to get an install date. I have not heard from Maria since the first estimate. It's been over amonth since the install. I mailed the SRP rebate form to CC Sunscreen for they to fill out the vendor portion. I have not been able to get a status from CC sunscreen on whether they even received my form. When I call, I'm told I need to speak with Maria and that she will call me back. Yet she never calls. I would not use this company again. The price is good but the hassle is not worth it. In the end Imay end up paying more if I don't get the rebate from SRP.

Seth with CC Suncreens was GREAT. He responded to my initial call quickly despite being a saturday afternoon. We set up an appt for sunscreen measurements and an estimate. He gave me options but weighed in his professional opinions which were helpful. Seth gave me a more than fair estimate, so I ordered the same day. I had called another company for a 2nd estimate, but never received a call back (and still haven't). Each time I contacted Seth he called back very quickly and he or his crew were on time or early to the appts. I was very pleased with the entire job and of course the suncreens.Thank you Seth and crew.

CC Sunscreens was the third company we got estimates from. They came in the cheapest, using the same materials as the other two companies. The sunscreens were built and ready to be installed before we even got approval from our HOA. They patiently waited for our HOA approval, and provided sample material and pictures to help get approval. The screens were installed efficiently and look great! I would recommend them to anyone in need of sunscreens.

They did an awesome job overall! Christan was very friendly, prompt, easy to schedule with, and had great prices. She provided great service all around, and I would recommend this company to others.

The estimator arrived on time and provided a professional, wriiten quote as well a very good explanation of the sunscreen product, frame material and installation process. The sunscreens were installed as per the estimated time-frame given and we are very satisfied. We certainly use them again.

The owner and installer were punctual, communicated well, and sold me a good product for a reasonable price from measurement to installation. Good value for the money.
