Never used this service provider

He was very nice to speak to and made our appointment right away, however when the appointment day came he didn't show up. I called a few times and he finally called me back. He had been sleeping. He did come out right away after he called. I am not sure how his work is but missing/being late for an appointment is why we didn't use him.

He came when I was there, and I showed him all the things I wanted and renovated. I told him I wanted the estimate broken down, because they are different projects. One is outside of the house, and then another on the inside of the house, and then I also have a garage that was converting, and I haven't gotten all the stuff. He has contacted me, and has given me a partial. He has to get all the subcontractors out and get the specific people to tell him how much they will charge. He has access to the house through the realtor, so he can let specific people in to go and see there for the estimates. I haven't made a decision yet. He has been responsive to any questions. He had a good rating on Angie's List. He originally told me he would have the quotes to me before the end of the year, but he didn't. He did call me though. He responded, and we corresponded, and he seems to be good, but I don't have enough experience yet.

I (Eric Shrode) operate a Home repair & maintenance business and was representing a client at the address listed. The property has a second story deck that had some water damage to the sub-floor which needed to be repaired and the deck covering repaired or replaced.

John was very easy to work with, very professional and very fair. Did what I call my 8 words to live by. Did what he said, said what he did. DID NOT try to "talk" me into other things, listened to what I wanted and gave me a bid. Started when promised and completed when promised. Great guy to work with. He gave me the name of a stucco guy who is also great. WILL ABSOLUTELY USE THEM AGAIN.

We made arrangements for the repair to be made the following day, a Saturday. Even though that was the week-end, I received an update phone call, a visit and my faucet was fixed for the weekly rate. During the next week, I was contacted to check up on how things were and if I was satisfied. I would not hesitate to use JDS again or recommend them.

This was the best experience I've had in the 10 years I've been in the verde valley. These folks work well together, are professional, competitively priced, keep you in the loop and are respectful of your belongings. I've thrown away all my other construction contacts. I'll always call John's organization first

The price quoted was 35/ hr. but there were 2 workers. One skilled the other not. I ended up being billed $35/@. The lead person spent all his time talking on the phone. In some cases he was rude. I was charged for thing they didn't do and the work was fragmented, they'd show up for and hour then comeback another time for an hour or so, on and on. I think this company should stick to corporate work and drop the ' God bless' stuff.

THE FLOOR EXPER WAS ON TIME AND VERY RESPECTFUL.

The bi-fold door was fine. Made the door frame the wrong size...came back next day to correct. Job was shoddy. Nails showing, no caulking...door did not close. They came back, fixed the door not closing, and tried to cover nails and caulk. Just was not a very professional job.

John and JDS have been an absolute pleasure to work with. My second home needed some TLC. The JDS crew was fantastic to work with. John and team are always on time, very fair when pricing work and it gets done the right way. I highly recommend JDS!

john was great. actually answered the phone and showed up when he said he would. initially i had asked him to put new deadbolts on a couple doors. when he got there (with an assistant, matt), my husband wanted him to install a microwave. i'm sure john didn't intend to spend a few hours, but was willing to tackle the job. involved removing a cabinet over the stove, making a shelf and wrestling the thing into place. great job, great attitude. would use these guys again.

These guys were fantastic from start to finish. Their communication was over the top. At all times I knew what was going on and when anything changed that needed to be discussed. I checked with at least 5 other companies and none of them wanted to do the project . This company came right out the day after I called to give an estimate. The project was not easy as it was a mobile home that had three layers of siding. The only change in price was a small increase per window because of the unexpected layers of siding. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I am very impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone needing a variety of projects done. I believe these guys are capable of doing any construction task. I thankful that this company was available to do this project.

See above. He told me the night of the rupture that he would be up from Sedona about 9:30 am. He called at 9:30 to let us know he was a bit delayed and arrived at 10 am. My husband (who was there) was pleased with his work.

The guys showed up on time, were respectful, and very neat. The quality of the work was good, so a good experience.

He was competent and was able to do all the job. He lives a little bit far away so I think the first time he came, he was running a little late but other than that he was good.d

I was very pleased. The owner he always checked up and came over and looked and see if he was satisfied. He had to make the judgement. He had his hands full. He checked up on the work. He checked up on the work they were doing.

The work of JDS Improvements was good.

JDS sent a un-licensed repairman (with his girlfriend) to dig a hole in driveway to access the leak. The repair to the main water pipe was completed. Job clean-up was very sloppy. Owner of JDS arrived two days later to view the repair job and collected the check. Unfornutaley, the leak was not at the site JDS "repaired" but 4 feet further from JDS actual repair site. Another company was called to repair the problem which cost an aditional $267.

Had a 60 inch TV and a 42 inch niche. Called JDS. Talked to John who sent out David who did an excellent job in a very tricky situation. Had to make sure there were no load bearing studs involved before proceeding. David arrived when scheduled, was very meticulous in examining the situation and proceeded in a cautious and methodical manner. He did everything possible to keep the job as clean and free of gyprock dust as possible. The result is a large enough niche to accept the 60 inch TV and associated electronics. Since this was my first experience with JDS as well as my first real experience with a contractor (usually I do this stuff myself) I was somewhat apprehinsive at first, but the end result is great and the price was fair. I would certainly use JDS again.

Very nice person, I will call him whenever I need repairs done. I know that I will get quality work at a very reasonable price. This is the kind of company I look for on Angie's list

I had called them from a neighboring town on a morning with the treat of a new storm a few days off. They were at my house around mid-day, the job started that afternoon and finished the following day. I couldn't be more pleased!

Company arrived when expected, got right to work, he was clean, efficient , friendly and we are planning on several other projects for him to complete.
