Description of Work: found a gas leak

Description of Work: Sent an email Saturday morning about my water heater that I could not get the pilot to light. Never heard from them.

Description of Work: I saw them on Angie's List with good reviews and called them for estimates on some big projects. They came and reviewed the projects and said that they would get back to me within a week, but I have not heard from them at all since they came in January.

Description of Work: never responded to my call.

Description of Work: They did exactly as they quoted and had exceptional attention to detail, follow up and timeliness and they worked around my schedule. I was very happy!

Description of Work: Five doors shorten to fit frames, 4 lights installed in garage, woodpecker annoyance covered and painted, roof down spout replaced. On time and did all I asked of them. They are competent in many areas and for generally house repairs that I can't do for myself, I will call them again.

Description of Work: John responded same day I called and gave me an estimated for my ceiling where I had a water leak damage. I then asked about replacing my florescent lights(4) with track lights. This was a big job as there were 4 large cutouts for lights with plastic covering, framed in maple wood. John had David on the job the next day. David not only did a great job, he was very tidy and always cleaned up the working area. Plus he was very polite. John came by several times to check on the progress and if I was satisfied. I am going to continue with John and have a concrete gate wall fixed, concrete driveway put in and new steps for my deck.

Description of Work: My home was flooded and he provided an estimate for the repairs. He was very nice. I will probably use him at some point. His price was half of what another provider quoted.

Description of Work: JDS rewired our main circuit breaker box after we discovered that the majority of our house was running off of only a few circuits rather than how they should have been according to the labeling that was on the breakers. They also did a three way switch in our hallway as well as changed our kitchen fluorescent light from a dimmer knob to a regular on/off switch. We had asked if they could repair our dryer and since it was not their area of expertise they arranged for an associate of theirs to come later that week to fix it. Overall we were very satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: Installation of skylight.

Description of Work: I had a outside faucet that had 4 bib on it ,it had a severe leak. John indicated he would need to enter the drywall in the kitchen to repair the frost ? connection. He found that it would not require that and only had to need a washer replaced., He only charged us for the service call. I had hesitated to call him because the items reported in Angies List were bigger jobs. I would not hesitate to use him on any type of home improvement. I am so glad I found him on Angie's List and will be glad to recommend him in the future,.

Description of Work: We had a water leak from an outside faucet that we tried to fix it but had to call our "old stand by" John. He sent a man out that day and he did what he could so we could turn our water back on. This repair has taken a little time since they had to cut a hole in a wall to get to the soldered on faucet so it could be replaced. Since the wall had to be cut out it had to be repaired gradually so the patch would dry properly. Nevertheless we had water and the service was great. John is great to work with and has done several other jobs for us and like I say he is our "old stand by" for any repairs we have. I would use him to paint my house, if it needed it and I plan to recommend him to anyone that needs repairs of any kind. My Dad was a contractor so I am well aware of what is needed to do a repair and John is your guy. He is inexpensive, punctual, a perfectionist and just a great guy to have programed on your phone for all kinds of work. I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: we own a place in Cottonwood, Az that we rent out. We live in Pittsburgh PA so to have someone like JDS that we can count on eventhough we never met them, gives us a great deal of peace of mind.
