They came! Roofers we worked with in the past were terrible about coming as promised, so we were happy to see them. They analyzed the damage to our roof ( no flashing around the fireplace) and made Arrangements to repair it. Very professional and nice.

The torrential rains in early November brought some serious leaks in the flat portions of my roof. I selected Porter Roofing from Angies List based on the very positive reviews. I called their office and talked with a very friendly person who set up a schedule for Randy, the estimator., to come on December 12. Randy showed up on schedule and was very professional. After inspection, he gave me a quote to repair which I accepted on the spot. The actual job was performed on December 26/27 by a very professional and courteous crew. I am very pleased with the work, the company, and the entire experience.. Definitely recommend them.

The owner of a construction company that my wife works for has always said that a company can live or die by the quality of its front office. That is where Porter apparently fails and will be dying a certain death. It took several phone calls to actually reach a person who would answer a phone call just so that I could schedule an estimate on a complete re-roof and some patio cover modifications. The earliest date was two weeks out. They showed up at the time, were friendly, answered all of my questions, said all the right things about how they rebuild a roof based on my research, and all that was great but that was where the business relationship ended. Nearly a month and multiple answered and unaswered phone calls later, I have nothing to show for it. I have no estimate, no guess, no anything. I've called, but usually the calls go to voice mail. When I do get a voice on the other end of the line, they seem bewildered and confused and always seem to have no idea of "who's on first." The ability of this company to provide a prompt and accurate estimate should be a cornerstone of their business model. They had done some previous work for me several years ago with no problems and were very prompt. Something has obviouly changed and some of the recent grades suggest that this company is no longer worthy of an Angies List "A" Rating. It's kind of sad to see a business fall so far so quickly. I will look elsewhere and will no longer recommend them.

Never returned my call, I find that very unprofessional. It has been two weeks since I left a message.

The only issue was getting them to get me the original quote due to being so busy. When job was scheduled they showed up on time with a large crew and did a great job.

The recent rainstorm caused some leaks in our front room. I called Porter Roofing on Saturday morning, because their Angie's List profile showed that they had good reviews and were open on Saturday from 9-2, I think it said. Called at 9:10. No answer--left msg. Called at 10:30. No answer--left another message. They finally called me back Monday around 2:30pm. The girl was very nice, but apparently, they have no one on call for emergencies unless you are a current customer. There is a guy who works Saturdays, but only current customers are allowed to contact him. So, they may be the most awesome around...as long as you are a current customer, it would seem, since I got no response until after I had called several other roofing companies to come give me estimates.

I called this company for a free estimate after we lost a tile single off our roof after the big storm this last summer. I didn't think there were any other problems with the roof but I am not even close to an expert so I wanted a professional to take a look. These guys came out and fixed the tile for free said there were no other problems and didn't charge me a dime!! Will definitely call them with any other issues.

He took pictures for me to see of addional work needed and the price he gave was below what we were expecting. We definitely will do business with Porter for any future roofing needs.

The process went smooth. They arrived on time, cut trees, removed debris and re-coated our roof. The service was professional and completed within 6 hours or less.

We obviously won't call them again.

I purchased a home and the seller hired Porter roofing to do the repairs prior to my closing. We were concerned about schedule because they were very busy with the damage from the recent microburst in Ahwatukee but they squeezed us in. They came back after the closing to finish painting and I did not even have to call and follow up. I will definitely refer them in the future.

Quick response, good estimate, and all work performed as requested. We will definitely recommend them to neighbors.

Arrived, removed the old bent and undersized T caps, replaced with correct size. Removed old turbine vents, replaced with low profile vents. No leaks after repairs even during the crazy monsoons.

Called provider on Monday 8/5/13. No response until 8/7 end of day which was a message asking if I was still needing an estimate. I called back, got VM and said yes, we still needed a repair estimate. Provider called me 8/8 but I was unavailable to take the call, which prompted their office to send me an e-mail with a very rude, disrespectful tone. I explained that I was in a class at the time of the call, and during CE classes we are not permitted to take or make calls. I picked up my VM after the class, but after seeing the e-mail, I decided to pass on this company. If this is the kind of service you get on the front end, I can only imagine what sort of service my client would have received on site.

I got three quotes - two companies wanted to replace the entire roof. I did not want to replace the roof yet as it is only 20 years old. The Porter estimator arrived on time, was very professional and did not use high-pressure sales tactics. Theirs was also the least expensive quote and they had a good reputation on Angie's List and from a neighbor. They replaced the underlayment and also some plywood where the 3 leaks were and replaced some T-tops which were the source of 2 leaks. They redid the patio roof which had serious water damage and rotted wood - replaced all plywood and fascia boards and installed a Polyglas roofing system. They arrived on time and took about 4 hours to complete the job, and also cleaned up the site afterwards. I waited to post a review until we had had a few rainstorms so I could see if the roof was still leaking - looks good!

I called this provider 3 times for an estimate. Unfortunately, I never received a return call from them.

They were okay. The roof has not leaked since they did the work.

Requested estimate and within 24hrs received a reply. Randy Halfhill the superintendent showed up on time for estimate and answered all questions my wife and I had about the foam application. The crew showed up on time and was very professional. When I got home that day I noticed the area was clean and could not tell anyone had even been there. We will continue to use Porter Roofing for any additional roofing needs we come across.

We are selling our home and the home inspector that inspected our home put in his report that he thought the roof had been installed incorrectly and that the buyers should have a qualified roofing company look at it before buying. Of course the contractor that was hired by the buyer gave an estimate of $8500 to remove all the tiles and reinstall. We had five days to respond back to the buyer so we were under a time crunch. I contacted Porter roofing through Angies List and explained my situation, and even though they were extremely busy the owner himself came out to look at my roof and provide an estimate. I showed Dennis the inspectors report and he went up on the roof to inspect and measure. When he came back down he said that the company that made the tiles were no longer in business, but that the tiles were installed correctly and he had a brochure back in his office that he could provide if I needed it. He further stated that we did not need to do anything to the roof but repair some cracked tiles, install some new flashing around a portion of the asphalt shingles by the air conditioners, seal around the chimney, and replace the flat roof over the patio, with an estimate of $1500. This expierence was outstanding and if I ever need to have any roofing done I would definitely use this company. I will also tell everyone I know that if they need roofing done to start with Proter Roofing first. Thank you Dennis and Porter Roofing for renforcing my confidence that there still are ethical and honest businesses available in Phoenix!!

Called to get/set appointment for an estimate on Roof repair. Its been several days and no one has called back. I have selected someone else from Angie's list to provide my estimate/repair work

They did a great job. They were polite, on time and professional. It rained the next day and NO LEAKS. Very happy with them and the price. Would use them again.

Randy provided a very detailed estimate on the spot and answered all my questions about the company and services they would provide. It was one of three extimates that I got and I choice to go with one of the other companies, but it was a tough choice because the pricing and services were very close.

Upon acceptance of the bid, a date was set for the work to begin. The Roofing Team showed up on the appointed morning and started the work. The work took about 4 days of tearing down, the old tiles (long faded with many chipped or cracked). installing the under portion and they putting down of the new tiles along with the repair of part of the flat roof portion. The roof was totally torn down to the original Plywood and inspected before the roof was installed. Every day after completion of the day's work, the area was cleaned completely. The team that installed the roof were very kind and considerate and always ready to answer questions if I had any. Upon completion, the head of the team came over and inspected what had been done and decided on a few items that he was not satisfied with and made sure that the job was done correctly. I would never consider using anyone else for roofing. You will never be happier than with Porter Roofing.

First of all, their prices can't be beat. I had two areas that were leaking. One area continued to leak and I had to call them out a couple of times to get it fixed. And they did. I was frustrated at the time because my house was on the market and it was a stressful time - but - now looking back, they did everything just the way you would hope. Each time I called them back, they came out within the week and continued to look for the problem until it was fixed. If I ever need roof repair again, I will definitely call them first.

Within the week it rained again and we had the same problem occur. I contacted them and they were out within a couple of days. This time they took the hose and forced water down the roof to watch what went on and this time decided that the water was running back and dripping down because there should be caulking inbetween the stucco and the roof. We are wondering why they didn't do that test the first time they came out. Now we are out $300.00 and still have the problem.
