The original estimate for repair was one to two weeks - but Fred needed to send away for a special hide to be shipped to Phoenix - which he did. When the couch returned to my house 3 weeks later - the work that Fred and his company did was amazing. It was like the couch was brand new - possibly better than brand new. I would highly recommend Fred and his Company - their work is outstanding - Matt Leonard

Excellent. They came on time, they knew exactly what to do with the Knoll Barcelona chairs and how to sew the straps the ex-tenant had damaged --- all four were disconnected and how to clean the leather. Since these were expensive chairs I only wanted a company that was experienced and I felt comfortable having them take the chairs away. I had also called Speedy but did not get the sense that they knew how to handle the leather chairs. I was very satisfied with Leather Like New and would highly recommend them. I was very upset that my tenant left them in such condition and relieved that Leather Like New was able to repair/restore.

At first I thought the $200 cost to repair the tear was high, however the repairman was here for about three hours working. He explained how he used double strands of thread so that hopefully the tear will not recur. He also refilled the back cushions with extra Dacron filling, which was helpful. Finally, he gave me a bottle of leather conditioner, which the owner had promised when i first talked to him about my sofa. I think they did a great job!

Had a tear in the arm caused by wear and cushions had flattened from use. They replaced the leather in the arnrest and re stuffed all cushions and dyed the leather to the original color. Nice job....

The couch is beautiful. They did a wonderful job, and I would recommend this company to anyone that needs leather repair. All of the people we dealt with were polite and knowledgeable. Our couch was picked up on Monday, June 3rd, and returned to us on Thursday, June 13th. It looks brand new, and I know that the work that was done will last for quite some time.

Called for an appointment, scheduled for the following week. Waited all day for service man who never showed nor did he call or anyone from his company. A few days later we receiced a call and when asked what happened my husband was told "I guess I just skipped it". I would not call this company again...not very professional.

This is a new review and a modified review of a previous post. I had some repair work done on my leather couches 3 years ago. My dog decided to get up on my leather chair for some reason and scratch the surface prior to laying on the chair (she had never done this before). Consequently, she damaged the cushion and it looked horrible since the damage was in the middle of the cushion! I called Leather Like New and dropped off my cushion after speaking with Lena over the phone about the photos of the cushion damage. As I was headed out of town, I wanted to have the work done while I was gone, so I dropped off the cushion at their workplace on a Thursday afternoon. The guys in the shop found my write-up - Lena and Fred were both out of the office- and photos and took the cushion and gave me a quote of about $150, but not more than $200. I received a call on Tuesday saying that they had the work finished and the final cost was $125. I picked up my cushion on the following Monday when I returned to town and although you can see a few of my dog's claw marks in the leather, it looks remarkably better and you cannot tell that it was damaged at all. I never did meet Lena or Fred, but they did a great job on the cushion.

The service was great from start to finish. And the couches look phenomenal - they're like new!!!

Came out as scheduled and looked at couch and chair. Didn't say much about either except that I should consider recovering it and recommended a "friend" that could recover the pieces. Did not even give me a quote. *See new review* 2013 -- Quite pleased with the work done to repair dog damage to the seat cushion of this leather cushion. Wrote a new review.

Fred Reinboldt and his sidekicks, Steve and Hugo, were the "Dream Team". Fred and Steve came to the house within a day or two of my call to the office and wasted no time identifying all problems. Fred talked me through all that would be done and gave me an estimate that was was honored fully. On the appointed day, Fred and Hugo returned with furniture I hardly recognized. These pieces were high quality in their day and to replace them would have been cost prohibitive, to say the least. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I have had many good experiences with Angie's List providers but this company ranks over and above the rest in our estimation. Thank you, Fred, Steve and Hugo. It was an absolute pleasure to have you in our home.

We bought a large brown leather sectional from furniture store at their going out of business liquidation. It is a very good piece, and we had owned it for just a year when we brought home a new rescue dog. This puppy is adorable, but hadn't gotten over the urge to chew everything, not just chew toys. She took the top corner off of the back, the first thing you see when walking into the room. She also opened the corner of one back pillow and chewed the corner off of one seat cushion. We were certain that we were looking at a disaster that could only be patched up, never repaired to like new condition.

Their quality of work and prices were great.
