Excellent, they even provided a "loaner" sofa while ours was in the shop.

From the first phone call to completion everything went extremely well. I spoke to the owner, Fred Reinboldt, and he informed me what he could do and the price. We agreed and he had the work completed in just a few days. I called before pickup and spoke with the office mgr. Patrice who said someone would be there during the time I said I would arrive. Upon arrival and walking to their front door of the shop on 40th Street, I received a phone call from Patrice. She was going to inform me she would be out of the office for awhile. How considerate was that? I was there and picked up the repaired arm chairs that had been reupholstered. The job was neat and looks real good back on my desk chair. BETTER THAN NEW !!! An extra bonus was the discount they gave me for first time customer and a member of Angie's list ! (THANKS) I want to give this business a 5-star rating in every respect. I will be doing more business with them in the future. It should be noted that I drove all the way from Peoria, Az. to their site in SE Phoenix to have this leather work performed. I had previously called another leather repair company that was recommended by a neighbor and that has a good rating, here on Angie's list. But after coming out & giving me a rough estimate, they never called me back. I called them again & was told once again, they'd call me back. It's nearly a month later & they still haven't returned my call. I guess there business is that busy. SO...I called LLN & talked to Fred. Someone came out that day & gave me an estimate. They also took my couch that day & returned it two days later, repaired like new - like the puppy never did any damage! YAY! Highly recommend!

We knew about Leather Like New from a recommendation years ago, and we had had them out to recondition our sectional and ottoman on two occasions. I was pleased to see on Angie's List a few years later that Fred had so many positive reviews for larger jobs. Initially, it was hard to set a time to meet with Fred - he had had a change in staffing, it was during the holidays and he had a tremendous backlog of jobs. So there were several back and forth phone calls. But when he finally came to do the estimate, he also offered to take the sofa and ottoman that day. It was opportune for both of us as we were about to install new flooring and preferred to have the pieces refurbished first. He did a tremendous job and the price, we felt, was very reasonable. He also took time to explain how to better care for the pieces going forward and gave us free bottles of the leather conditioner and cleaner he uses. We definitely would use Fred again and highly recommend him for this type of job. We also plan to call on him for routine professional conditioning as needed. It was worth the wait!

We had a chair that had a big stain about the size of a volleyball right where your head would normally rest. Anyway, we were desperate for help for as we were unable to get it out by ourselves. I saw the wonderful reviews on Angie's List for Leather Like New, so I called and spoke with Fred who is the owner and Cody and they were able to come right out and take the chair and completely make it look like new within a week: incredible! It also matches the sofa that was undamaged- such incredible artistry in their ability to make it match the other furniture!!! They also made a leather flap they call a Harley cover which will protect the area in the future in the event of a hair product stain- it looks beautiful and matches the piece perfectly. Their price was more than fair and the service was impeccable I highly recommend Leather Like New!

They did an excellent job repairing a leather office chair so that it looks like new for a fair price.

Our couch, love seat and chair were around 20 years old and were thinking of replacing them but could not find anything that we really liked so we decided to ask “Leather Like New” what could be done to restore them to the old beauty. Fred and Antonio were very professional and explained everything in detail that needed to be done. The difficult part was to match our two-tone leather – they did it beautifully. The job was done in one day right at our house. We could not be happier with the outcome – leather really looks like new.

They did the job quickly and on time. The finished product is great, but I elected to use a less optimum filler on the cushions and it did not some as we would have liked. Probably our fault for going cheaper...

They did a good job. They were fast, responsive and dependable.

The first day their schedule was a bit off- I was told they would arrive in the morning and they came late afternoon. You could be reluctant to use a company that does not show up on time but we were able to go along with the new visit time. However after that "schedule glitch" everything was very smooth and the next day they picked up the furniture on time and the delivery was also on time. Fred gave me an expert opinion of what he suggested us to do to recover the look of our furniture. He took pictures to match new dye color to other pieces in the room. He was also the one who recommended the leather cushions for the ottomans. The furniture is now BEAUTIFUL It looks even better than the original when it was new. These pieces are at least 8 years old and have been abuse by our dogs. They have given me good tips to keep the leather in good shape. We are very grateful to ALL at "leather like new" FANTASTIC job!

When Fred delivered my leather chair he said that he also recovered fabric furniture. So I had him look at my garage sale find. He delivered sample fabrics and I found the perfect fabric for my chair. He did an awesome job and I Love it

They picked up the furniture and returned it. It is beautiful, just as they sad it would be. They replaced the leather that was worn through and made custom fit arm covers. They cleaned and shined it all up and gave me instructions on how to keep it that way for many years. Fred and Chris were very professional and tried very hard to accommodate my schedule. Much thank to them as I really did not want to have to shop to replace that sofa and chair and ottoman. Thanks guys

Work is still underway. Leather Like New was very professional when they came out. They explained everything that needed to be done and what the different options were. We decided on the most comprehensive, and based on my research I figured the cost would be in the $2K range, so was not surprised. I am expecting an excellent outcome and will update my post in a couple weeks when I get the couches back.

They matched the original color on our furniture beautifully. Very professional, informative and easy to work with.

Fred appears very knowledge about leather and what can be done to repair/restore it. He took the recliner and returned it looking like new.

I found Leather Like New on Angie's List (with excellent reviews) and am delighted to report that they responded immediately. I texted Fred a picture of the damage; they would be in the area that afternoon and would stop by. He took a look; said they could match it with no problem, and asked about the breakdown in the stuffing across the top - where said puppy liked to lie before we broke him of the habit. The price he quoted was WAY less than I was expecting; they took the piece out then and there; it was back in one week and you cannot tell it was ever damaged in any way. The lumbar support is great; the top of the back no longer sags; and he mentioned that if we needed the lumbar support in any other pieces beefed up it would be a house call and could be done on the spot in a few minutes. They were GREAT - the leather matches exactly - and the piece is better than new. I would recommend them in a heartbeat for anything leather.

Great customer service and top notch work! All of the work was done quickly and expertly. Fred and the team were professional and courteous. I have no idea how they made the leather chair 'like new' but they did it. We've had the furniture back in our house for a few weeks now and I am 100% satisfied.

It went very well. Fred and his crew came out soon after I called them. They took the damaged love seat with them and repaired it in just a week or so. It looks like new. The new leather matches the old perfectly. They also cleaned and treated the mate to the damaged love seat and put a treatment on a couple of new leather recliners we had received as Christmas presents from our children. Other than being relatively expensive, the work and service were superb.

Let's see, how did this start. First, I wanted to get an estimate on having a leather chair repaired which my bull dog had decided to ride. (He rides the furniture by getting a good teeth grip and pushing with his back feet.) Any way, Fred and crew came in and gave us a terrific price on the sofa, loveseat chairs and barstools and off they went. We were absolutely awed when they were returned because, like magic, the teeth marks etc were gone and everything looked great. We then asked if he could fix three outside chairs which had been damaged by the Arizona heat over the last few years. He covered them with airplane foam and a protective cover (sunbrella) which looked great and was beautiful. During this time, my wife purchased two chairs on sale at Ladlows. She asked me to take a look and I told her that the leather did not match. She went there the next day and was in agreement with me. Instead of cancelling the order (the chairs were very expensive), she called Fred and asked if he could match the leather. He said that he could and she had him pick up the chairs. When they were returned to us, once again we were amazed at what he could do. .he chairs were identical and the price for doing that was very reasonable. I would recommend Fred and team without reservation, they are masterful.

Well, I first called the office and spoke to a woman who was very nice and professional. She seemed eager to help and asked me to email pictures of the sofa we wanted repaired and restored. I sent the email that same day and gave them 3 days to respond before I called them again. They never responded, so I called to verify they had indeed received the email This time a man answered and I re explained the information I was looking for: a quote to repair a 3 inch tear in the seam. He recalled the email and details of my request, but offered no explanation as to why no one ever returned my call. He was polite enough, but I definitely got the creepy used car salesman vibe. He danced around the issue of price and didn't want to offer coming out to the house with his leather repair kit to sew the seam, he kept trying to push picking the furniture up, taking it back to his warehouse, and doing a complete restoration there. I was hesitant, so he said, "Hey, you know... I'm gonna be coming out your way tonight. How about I stop by and pick it up..." I asked "whats the best case and worse case scenario price wise?" He said between $700 and $1700. He told me he'd call when he was in my area, and then he'd stop by. No call that evening. I was kinda done with him at that point, but he called back 2 days later and I explained I wasn't interested in a full restoration. I just wanted the rip sewed at my home. He seemed disappointed and told me he would be by on "Wednesday between 12 and 2." (that time frame is an estimate. I forget what the exact time frame was) In any event he never showed up. I was completely done at this point and he had the nerve to call back again on Friday with a "when are we gonna get this taken care of for you?" attitude. I told him we were not interested in using his company anymore. He was almost sneering when he asked, "Is this because I never called you back?" I said "yes." And he chuckled. Which irritated me. I can't say what kind of a job they do, but my experience left ALOT to be desired. I would not recommend calling them unless you like feeling schmoozed, pressured, and somewhat dirty when the phone call has ended....

yTechnician seemed to be very rushed. He was curt and almost offensive. He seemed to really hate his Job. My husband even questioned whether he was on something. He was very irritated that the office manager had given me an Angies list discount and kept making comments about that. He we also very bothered that my 9 year old pug was standing near him and made it known. We couldn't pay the guy and get him out of our house fast enough. As far as the price, and timelyness of the appointment we were happy. I think it's just time to fine a new repair man to do their in home appts.

The work was fine and the chairs look like new. They had them back in less than a week. One thing that made me uncomfortable, is that once I agreed to $500 for the pair (for pick up, refurbishing and delivery), he later tried to tell me that there would be a $40 delivery fee. I reminded him that he had already quoted me $500 for all the work including pickup and delivery, so he backed off the extra fee. He also added a leather treatment spray bottle, for which he charged me an extra $30.
