In one word, great! Communication through Angie's List messaging & phone was prompt & professional. Jaimie showed up on time to assess the work and was actually able to complete the work before leaving, which involved cutting into the plasterboard & moving an electrical socket in addition to the actual pipework.

I selected JI Plumbing to install my RO system based upon the good reviews. Jamie promptly returned my initial call and scheduled service at a time convenient for me. He showed up on time and got right to work. Once the work was complete, he cleaned up the work area. He also explained how the system worked and what I would need to do to maintain the system. Having scheduled many service providers in the past and having them either be late or not show up at all -- without so much as a call to notify me -- Jamie's work product and work ethic is commendable. I won't hesitate to contact him in the future.

All aspects were great. Jamie was on time, did what he said he would do, and was very professional and personable. Quality of work was outstanding.

J. I. Plumbing replaced our old water softener with a brand new one. We noticed the hard water was not cleaning our dishes and clothes properly. And, that our shower water was not as soft as usual. We called Jaimie (the owner) and he was there within an hour. He checked our old system, which was over 10 years old, and found that it was no longer functioning properly and could not be repaired. They were there immediately, did an excellent job and answered all our many questions about soft water systems. Jaimie cleaned up the area and discarded the old system. All is back to normal and we are a happy family again.”

Great work. Jaime cleaned out the line. And checked the kitchen faucet, cleaned out mineral build up from the lines.

When my disposal broke and caused a leak, making the kitchen unusable, Jaimie was able to come over within an hour of my initial call. He installed the disposal we already purchased and then installed a new toilet valve downstairs. We had also purchased a new valve, but he told me that it was low quality and provided a good price on a superior part. All work was done within less than three hours of his arrival, was done well and for a fair price.

He was respectful, timely and did a super job. He cleaned up the debris, cardboard and hauled away the old water heater.

Called J.I. He was busy, but managed to get to my place in less than two hours. Took a while to find the leak...a seal beneath the toilet. Had to investigate under vanity (most likely source, but not easily accessible), check out tub, and remove toilet. He shut off water to toilet which stopped leak. (Repairs were ultimately handled by my insurance company's restoration company.) Also discovered house's water cutoff valve did not completely stop water flow to house. Was quite old. This was replaced the next day.

After a horrible experience with a large, corporate plumbing company, I called JI Plumbing for the next round of plumbing I needed to get my house ready to move into. Jaimie came out the day I called, completed all the work, and did it for a fair price. He even noticed the dishwasher lines were not hooked up correctly and fixed them at no charge. I really appreciated all the work he did, and how professional he was. I will definitely call him the next time an issue comes up in the house. A lot of providers claim that they have "service with integrity", but in this case, it's actually true. Thank you!

Called for a quote and scheduled work for the next day. On time and work was completed to my satisfaction.

All went well. Fixed the leaks no problem. Had to get faucet handles for bathroom sink.

This is the second time I've used J.I. Plumbing. I sent an email on the Sunday before Labor Day, and they got back to me within the hour! I spoke to Jaimie and scheduled for 9am Thursday. He was right on time. The hose on my outdoor back faucet had become "stuck" to the faucet itself. Jaimie explained it became "stuck" because I had a cheap hose with cheap metal, and it had reacted to the copper on the faucet. My cheap hose also did not have a washer on it, which didn't help matters. He tried to remove the hose, but couldn't. He ended up replacing the entire faucet. The outdoor front hose had also become "stuck", but Jaimie was able to remove the hose that time. He noticed the faucet was leaking, and adjusted it so that it stopped leaking. While Jaimie was here, I also had him check the water pressure on my kitchen sprayer (turned out to be fine), and asked him a couple of remodeling-type questions about my bathrooms. Jaimie is friendly, professional, and does great work. I trust him, and will continue to use his company whenever I need plumbing services.

He was friendly, punctual, charged consistent to estimate and job done well. I have used this company before and would use them again.

I discovered standing water under my sink on Thursday afternoon (June 11th). I found J. I. Plumbing on Angie's list, checked the reviews, and called. Mr. Innes listened to my description of the problem and said he'd be out in half an hour. He showed up on time and examined under the sink with a flashlight--tested filling my sink and watching as it drained; turned on the dishwasher, checked the seal around the garbage disposer, etc. The only place that seemed to leak was around the faucet which had been dripping water down the side for awhile and also around the sprayer hose attachment. I asked him if that meant he needed to fix the drip on the faucet; and he explained that Kohler (brand of my faucet) parts can be difficult to secure since that manufacturer changes the size of the parts with each new faucet model they make. Plumbers can't afford to keep an inventory of all of these parts for as long as the faucets last. So, I told him I will be buying a new faucet to replace that 10-yr.-old Kohler one. I appreciated Mr. Innes's candidness and believed he had correctly diagnosed the source of the problem.

Excellent service! Jamie fixed serious plumbing problems for me on a day he had planned to not be working. Very courteous and helpful.

I called about 8:30 a.m. and he actually showed up a little earlier than scheduled. I showed him the hose bib, and he informed me that it was soldered on. So, he had go through the whole procedure of blow torching the old hose bib to get it off, and then soldering the new one on. He was very quick and efficient - you could tell he knew what he was doing. I would definitely call him back again!

Movement of pipes and drain went well. It took less than a couple of hours for him to complete. He was very professional and answered any questions I had during the process. Cleaned up after job was complete and made sure I was satisfied with the work done. I would recommend J.I. Plumbing to anyone looking for a quality job and great customer service.

Quoted the price in advance over the phone and held to it. On time, took about as long as expected. Cleaned up the work area well. Did some minor drain clean out at no extra cost. Made no effort to upsell any services, something that has annoyed me in the past with other service companies.

I had a propane heater that I wanted installed in my family room. They came out and advised me not to install it. The heater claimed to be vent free but it wasn't. Large enough to require venting and my family room is large. I had purchased the heater on line and it was from back East. I was given all the specifics as to why it should not be installed inside. I was disappointed but very glad to know that it would be dangerous. I plan to get a regular wallheater from them to install in my family room. It will be safe and so I really was grateful I was prevented from making a serious and dangerous mistake.

Arrived right on time for a 4 PM appt.Small snake wasn't getting to the clog so he brought in the longer powered snake. It took about 40 minutes but finally got the clog out, ran the water for about 5 minutes to make sure it was gone. He was packed up and ready to go by 5 PM.

He was able to make repair without impacting wall. No leaks. Left everything clean and neat.

I called Jamie this morning and he was at my home within 2 hours. He quickly identified the leak, which, in the end, turned out to be rather serious. He purchased a kitchen sink faucet for us, to our specifications (he made an excellent choice for us), then proceeded to "pry out the old faucet" (it was rather old and almost welded in). We could not be happier with the professionalism and the quality of work. Our new hardware looks great and functions perfectly with no leaks. It was a pleasure doing business with Jaime and J.I. Plumbing. The price was more than reasonable for all the new hardware and the amount of work it took to install it all.
