Green Mango Pest Control

After 2 services by previous pest control company, we kept seeing scorpions/bugs inside our house and around the house too. I saw the $79 deal on Angieslist and called Green mango, they went over all details of the deal, recommended black light treatment( between 6-8 pm).Their technician, Nephi, arrived on time and was very courteous & professional, understood what's happening around the premises, went over all details of the treatment and products he was going to use. He was very thorough while spraying the product inside and outside and caught 31 bark scorpions - our backyard was seriously infested and he did a very good job. Signed up for Bi-monthly service.

Rodney arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He explained everything that he was going to do and asked if I had questions. When a large number of sewer roaches emerged from the base of a tree he treated it thoroughly and alerted me that there would be a lot of dead ones. I was thoroughly satisfied with the service and would use it again.

It went very well. They confirmed 2 days before. There service was very professional and they were easy to schedule for a visit. Outstanding staff.

The technician sprayed my yard, dusted my walls, and put down granules for longer term protection. Previous companies just sprayed the yard and left it that. I think this may work better.

Haven't seen anything since they sprayed, so as far I'm concerned it was awesome! Josh was my technician, and he came out the very next day. They even called to let me know when they were on their way and gave a nice small time window accomodating my time needs. Very easy to work with! I even signed up for a three-year plan with them.

The professionalism at Green Mango Pest was extremely poor. I paid upfront for Scorpion removal services, purchasing an Angie's List package. Unfortunately, I could not ever get in touch with Green Mango via phone and they refuse to communicate any other way. I know they do have an email address, because they kept responding to my emails saying I should call them. I would call and not be able to get through. I wish I had never wasted my money on this product. It is 2015 so scheduling should not be such a challenge. I would recommend finding a more modern pest removal company with better customer service.

The service man was extremely thorough. He carefully sprayed each column of my cinder block wall and even retreated areas that I identified as high traffic areas. He also eliminate spider webs from around my property. After that he came inside and sprayed the inside of my home and the gentleman was very professional and courteous.

Really professional company. The service tech knew what he was talking about, was friendly, and worked quick. Most importantly, no scorpions after they treated the house and property.

It went very well, if I did not already have a regular pest control service I would have hired him going forward.

I saw a lot of evidence of dead pests after the initial treatment and I signed up with them for quarterly service. I haven't seen a scorpion in the house since.

OMG I just moved to a new (to me) house and discovered scorpions inside and out! I went on Angiees list and saw they had the scorpion service at night and they came out 2 days later. Yes, they found more scorpions Yikes but I am happy that we will get it under control. So happy I signed up for bimonthly service.

Price: C - The price is good assuming the service lasted for the full 2 months, which it has not. Quality: D - Each service is not lasting 2 months. Responsiveness: C - Leaving a voice mail and waiting for someone to call me back is not responsive, nor is scheduling a tech for the next week when I am calling about an issue that is occurring between services. Punctuality: D Punctuality doesn't really apply to service windows. Overall: C - All talk, no action. This company seems to believe that their time is more valuable than its customers' time. I am giving my business to a company who will fight to keep my business. Prior to my last treatment, I left a message for the office to have Cameron contact me to discuss my ant problem. Cameron never called. Cameron came to my door one day, asking me to give Green Mango my business. I was promised that if I ever had any issues, that Green Mango would come out as much as needed to resolve the issue. I was told that all if the webs around the house would be knocked down on every visit. I was also told that the technicians were all properly trained. Well, unfortunately, none of this seems to be guaranteed anymore. This summer, I have had an issue with ants coming over my wall and invading my yard. I called for an "extra" treatment, and the office girl responded and said that my next scheduled visit was only a couple of weeks away. So she just scheduled that visit a week sooner. Then once the tech finally made it out, he was told by the service manager, that he should only treat the wall and if the ants came back I would have to call them back out. Well a trained technician, would know that to properly treat the ant colony, that the ant hills on the other side of the fence would need to be treated. I have been with Green Mango for a few years now, and haven't really had any issues until this summer. Now I have earwigs and spiders both inside and outside the house. There are crickets all over outside, which is only going to lead to scorpions. Green Mango is no longer controlling the pests in and around my home. This is a problem because that is what I am paying them to do. I also don't appreciate having to leave messages every time I call. If I have take time out of my day to call them, I find it irritating that they don't have the time or respect to take customer calls. Maybe it is time to head back to the jungle and eat some more mangoes and refocus your business on customer service. Obviously there are some customers that are happy with the level of customer service that they are experiencing, I used to be one of them. You earned by business because you tried. You are losing my business because you stopped trying.

Green Mango is good at killing bugs! They aren't so good at working with customers on scheduling. They like to schedule you and show up when it fits into their "optimized" routing system. If their preselected date and time aren't convenient for you it is very difficult to get them to reschedule. I have had numerous conversations with the office staff to resolve this issue but it seems like the same thing happens every time they schedule. I like to be there when they complete the service to allow access to all areas of the home. Apparently many customers don't have that need so they schedule them when its convenient for Green Mango. I have dealt with both owners and they are professional and helpful when contacted. The office staff can get rude at times when calling to reschedule their preselected service time. Overall I am happy with the pest control but disappointed in the staff and scheduling issues.

Travis was very professional and punctual, he knew a lot about scorpions and other pests and how to get rid of them. Our house was dormant for a year while being remodeled and we found a few scorpions outside and a few inside (creeping us out). Travis started by hosing the perimeter of the house and showed me a live scorpion that was not happy. Then he went inside with the organic product and sprayed for other bugs that scorpions eat. He explained most chemicals will not directly kill scorpions, one that they use does and it is not harmful to grass or pets. For the flush out phase we were expected to see more activity, which we did (found 4 scorpions inside) and 4 more outside after the flush out. Green mango is promising a scorpion elimination by month 2 from the program we signed up for. I am confident they will get the job done, I've been manually killing scorpions outside and hope to have them away forever soon. Their guarantee is that if you see any pest problem after the second month of treatment they come out again for free. I am sure they don't want to be visiting my house more than they need to in order to keep the service going.

Green Mango Pest REFUSES to communicate via email! They are extremely difficult to get in touch with via phone. They answer my emails with the response to call them. I call, there is no answer. It is maddening! I am baffled as to why they couldn't just set up an appointment online. I originally bought a scorpion extermination service from the July 20th as I have seen several scorpions in my house. I have a toddler and three small dogs so scorpions are dangerous here! I am a teacher and assumed I would be able to schedule in plenty of time before I had to report back to work. Now, I report back to work this week and I was unable to treat my home for scorpions due to Green Mango Pest being such horrible communicators. I am terribly disappointed in this negative experience. I really just wanted my house treated for scorpions so I could keep my family safe.

The technicians are very thorough and professional. They ask what pests I'm seeing and then let me know what they found and what they did.

The service went great. We had used another company in the past and their treatment did not last through the year. This service was a great buffer for the summertime. They did exactly what the deal stated. The young man that came was very personable and had a great presence. He was very respectful of the property and very knowledgeable. When I called to set up the appointment I felt like they were running their business very well. They even followed up with me after the service to make sure everything went well. They were punctual and very approachable. I cannot say enough good things about the company.

We used Green Mango Pest control for four years. It first, we were happy. Then the bugs started showing up more. We called and instead of coming out to our house to spray again, like they said they would, they said they would give us a 10% discount. Then we were about to move to an area that they do not cover. My husband called and cancelled the service. Then they called and said that they were about to spray the house. My husband told them again that we were cancelling service and not to spray. We were out of town and when we got back, we saw that they sprayed and charged our account. I called and I was told that there was no record of the cancellation, even though we had to two different people that said the service would be cancelled. I was transferred to the 'cancellation department' and was told that we should have cancelled in writing. Who cancels pest control in writing? Then I was told that a manager will contact me to get me to stay. I told the girl that I wanted to speak to a manager right then and was told that there was not a manager available and that one would call me. It has been over two weeks and no one has called. We had to cancel the debit card that they were charging and filed a depute with our bank and were refunded the amount of the last charge. DO NOT USE GREEN MANGO!

Arrived on time and was very professional. Indoors, he wore booties. The entire effort was so professional and complete that we decided to hire Green Mango to provide on-going pest control for scorpions and other pests on a regular basis (bi-monthly visits).
