Eddie & Son Lath & Stucco

in the inspection report the house had issues with the condition of the stucco. I needed a quick report as I only had two days left for negotiations. He doesn't do work in my area but agreed to inspect the house the next day for no charge. He did this for me and reported the problems. He gave me a detailed explanation of the problems and what to do to correct them and the approximate cost of repair. As i have stated he does not do work in the area but did this as a favor to me. This is the kind of company you should hire as they care.

Everything went real smooth. Ed and Son did a great job. The guys knew and did their job well. Existing stucco was matched perfectly.

Great job by a great team - First off, they provided a very fair price (compared to others), then they showed up as promised. They completed job on time as they said they would - and did a great job cleaning up. Answered all my questions and job turned out looking great - very satisfied - AAA++++ way my job was handled, even though it was not a big job. I will use them again if I have to do any more stucco work.

O. M. G. I wish I could give these guys triple AAA grade instead of just an A. We had 260 ft of block wall that needed stucco. They contacted me the same day that I made an inquiry for an estimate, and came out the next day to look at the fence. We live in far far North Scottsdale, so it was a bit of a drive for them. The price they quoted me was HALF the price of the other contractor that we had estimate from. We arranged a date, and on the day of the work, they showed up, on time, finished the job smoothly , and made sure I was completely satisfied before they left. They put everything back in place, cleaned up after themselves , and were just wonderful to work with. I was very impressed. This is how business is supposed to work. My fence looks fabulous, and I cant believe how easy they made it for me. Well done guys! These guys are at the top of my list for a recommendation.

I contacted AC in late May about receiving an estimate to have stucco applied to my house. The house is almost 30 years old and was just a regular wooden frame house with no bricks, stone, or stucco. He came out and we walked the exterior of the house and discussed what I wanted and what he could do to make the house look better. He gave me an estimate even though I was going to be out of town during much of June and into July. When I got back, I contacted AC and he came out to finalize a proposal and to make sure we agreed on how i wanted the job done and he sent a proposal that was the same as the original estimate back in May. The first crew arrived and removed the trim, the exterior light fixtures, an attic vent in the front of the house over the garage, and even a basketball backboard and goal that had been attached to the house for over 25 years. The put up the foam, black paper, and wire. A couple of issues that came up were that they needed 1/2 inch foam in a couple of areas and by gate attached directly to the house and some foam needed to be cut out to the gate could open freely. The next week, another crew came out and applied the stucco. They put up a tile vent to replace the wooden one removed. All the work was done in a timely manner and both crews were very professional. I think these guys are great. AC took the time to explain the process used to stucco a house. They arrived on time, put down plastic so the areas around the house were kept clean, and cleaned up the work areas well. I have already had several people say they like the new look and even had a lady down the street wanting to know who did the work. I would definetly have Eddie and Son do any more stucco work I needed.

These guys were great! They were very accommodating and friendly. They set up a schedule for stucco and paint that would span three weeks time because the stucco had to cure before the painting was finished. Everything was accomplished within a day or two of the original schedule. It looks great, much better than the wood before. They cleaned up everything, including the old wood and carried it off. They were very easy to work with. I got multiple bids in the beginning and these guys were half of the highest bid.

After my initial contact with the company (Eddie's son) each step in the process was done quickly and with a minimum of involvement by me. The initial hole in the house was not woodpecker damage but an attempt to output an internet cable from the attic to a ground box. Probably by Cox. This occurred before we bought the house. The whole was missed by our inspectors and by us before we moved in .

Eddie and his crew arrived on time with everything required to do the job. They laid out tarps and quickly go to work. Everything was done in a very professional manor over a 3 day period. They kept me updates on the progress and completed the project on time. The finished product was perfect. I can't speak highly enough about them and the work they performed.

Quick response after request for estimate. Always maintained communication every step of the way. Workmanship looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend this mop any.

Johnny and the crew arrived when they said they would, did the work they said they would, did a quality job, left the site clean, charged what they said they would. 5. I would definitely hire them again.

We are very happy with the result. The stucco pattern matches the pattern on the house.

Found Eddie on Angie's list and picked him because of his good reviews. He immediately answered and we agreed on a time for Him to come by and make an estimate. He was friendly and courteous and His price was right on. He arrived two days later went to work and did a great job. Would definitely call him again when needed.

July 14, 2013 We chose Eddie and Sons Stucco because of the favorable reviews on Angie?s List. Eddie responded immediately to our request to look at the block walls needing stucco as well as the stuccoed walls that were in many places badly damaged by weather and water seeping through from the neighbors? yards. He arrived in a timely manner and gave us a reasonable bid on patching, plastering and painting. He called within days after our agreeing to do the job, and was happy to let us know he found someone who could come out within days. The blocks walls needing stucco were done very well, although we were left with areas of dripped plaster on the brick walks as well as a mess on fairly recently laid rock, where clean up of tools took place. We thought the damaged walls would be completely re-stuccoed rather than patched. It was our responsibility to get an agreement in writing, and we feel we can?t complain since we neglected to do that. Three of the six sections that were repaired are still problematic. The worst areas were patched with too thick of a mixture. The result was thin cracks throughout those areas the day following the repair. Other areas where the paint was peeling weren?t properly prepared for painting. After calling Eddie he said it would be okay, that there will be cracks from heavy traffic going by, etc. Within a couple of weeks, after the stucco and patches were dry, Eddie then assessed the walls. He realized there was more of a problem than he expected, and thereupon applied sealer and cement patching over the cracked areas. Eddie?s painter did a really good job. He was efficient and careful about the paint. The old peeling paint still shows through a little, but Eddie said it wouldn?t peel further. He told us that if it is a problem in the future he will come out and fix it. Eddie came out the same day after the painter finished. He attempted to clean up his worker?s mess, but the drips wouldn?t come out of the bricks very well. He apologized for his worker, saying he doesn?t use him very often because he isn?t very good and he leaves a mess. We told him we would rather have waited for a dependable mason. He said he gets very busy and feels time pressure. He also apologized for being stressed and rude on the phone. The walls look pretty good. There are still the hairline cracks, even after the primer and paint. From experience we know that painting over a problem doesn?t fix it for very long. So, due to the problems we encountered, we can?t with good conscience recommend this company.

We have relied on Eddie for a couple of years to take care of the stucco on the outside of our house, and he is consistently amazing. He always goes above and beyond my expectations. We live off of a golfcourse and every once in awhile a golf ball or two will hit the house and he has repaired those holes as well as repaired cracks that have occured in the stucco. This last time he repaired the golf ball holes and when he came back the next day to paint over them, he called to say the paint I had left for him didn't match. I told him not to worry about it because I couldn't get back over to the house to get him the right paint. Well, Eddie goes over to Home Depot, color matches the right color from a paint chip, returns to the house, and paints over the areas he had patched. Not only was the work completed, but now I have paint that matches perfectly when I need it in the future. I just can't say eough about him. I will always hire him in the future.

Eddie & Son is by far the best contractor I have had the privilege to work with in my years of home ownership & upgrading in Scottsdale, AZ. Eddie was the person handling my call from the beginning and was present for the entire quote and job start to finish. I had a rather small patch-up stucco & paint job on my yard walls that I kept getting blown off for by three other contractors around the area. Many contractors wanted nothing to do with it or else never got back to me after coming out to quote it. Eddie was more than eager to take on the job and was able to do it within my tight timeframe so that I could put my house up for sale right away. The price was very reasonable, and he did a very quality job. Eddie is extremely nice, honest, and upfront with you. I have no complaints whatsoever with Eddie & Son and highly recommend using them for your next job. You won?t regret it like I have with so many other contractors I?ve used in the past.

Eddie did an excellent job! I called him in a panic on Sunday and he came right over on Monday and fixed the area. He promptly came back to fix a few hairline cracks that occured after drying. Once painted I can't even tell there was a repair done. I highly recommend Eddie & Son Lath & Stucco. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Eddie had came 2x for the estimate...because the HOA had been so slow to aprove the work and because they made us nox doing part of the project. He came personally and was there same day as we requested both times. He was punctual, polite, and professional. They came back to do the work only three days after we agreed on scope of project and price. The team was supposed to be there to start work at 7:00AM, they were there about 7:02. They got right to work. They pulled the landscape rock back from the wall and did a good job of not making a mess (which is pretty hard to do with concrete). They laid down plastic on the walkways. Took them a good chunk of the day to do all the walls (there are a lot). They were all very respectful and polite and worked hard. the finished product was high quality and when they left the jobsite was spotless. The man putting on the texture after the basecoat was very skilled... the texture matched the house perfectly. That was really impressive. The backyard looks so much better now. I'd recommend Eddie and Sons to anyone needing stucco work done and especially anyone considering putting stucco on their perimeter walls.

Eddie and his assistant personally repaired a number of stucco cracks on the parapet walls of our home. After the repairs, they primed and repainted the repaired areas. They did a great job!
