The job went well from start to finish. The first three days of last week were applying the "scratch coat" which covered the original stucco. After curing/drying for a couple of days the new synthetic stucco was applied this week. AC is an excellent communicator and was always prompt in responding to any request. The crew was very hardworking. The house looks very good. It will look even better once the landscaping is finished and the painter comes to paint the trim. The clean up provided by Eddie & Son was excellent.

AC and the crew showed up in the morning and did all necessary work need to make all open areas being filled in and areas around new windows and doors were ready for re-texturing to the deck of the home so the City of Scottsdale could come out and inspect prior to texture being applied. City of Scottsdale approved with no issues. Scheduled texturing for the following Thursday as city was scheduled to inspect the following Monday. That day 7-8 man crew showed up and placed plastic everywhere stucco might cause damage, patio floor, widows etc and started their work. By the end of the day they were done. AC said to let it sit up to 4 weeks to cure and dry correctly which we did along with a few man watering's by hose and monsoon rains. AC also said to make sure all drywall and cabinets were to be screwed on the Eastern wall as nailing would or could cause the plaster to crack from vibrations. This was done and no cracks were found when the plaster was primed the middle of September. By re-stuccoing that entire eastern wall you can not see any of the locations that windows use to be as wall is straight and looks great.
Description of Work: As windows were moved and new windows were install they re-textured our entire eastern wall, rear 12' patio sliding door and second floor fixed windows into the great room area.

Eddie and Sons did a great job. They always came as scheduled and were always polite and helpful. I decided to have Dryvit stucco applied to my house, which is more expensive than regular stucco, because there is not as much of a problem with cracking. I am extremely pleased with the stucco work that Eddie and Sons completed on my home and will definitely recommend and use them in the future.

From the momento I requested a call, I have been 100% satisfied with the work Eddie and his son do. I was told that Eddie would be out to come and make the repairs on Saturday from 7:00am to 8:00am. Eddie was punctual and did all the required work in less than an hour. He was cordial, professional, and very skilled. He repaired two holes done by birds and debree as well as cracks underneath the second floor window underneath the master bedroom. He also repaired a crack on the side wall.

It went great. I first spoke to AC (the son) on the phone and he was very helpful and concerned about the space being unprotected from the elements. Eddie (the father) was very knowledgeable, friendly, and did an excellent job. The finish on the new stucco matches my house perfectly. I haven't painted it yet but I'm sure it'll blend in and only Eddie and I will ever know it was re-done.
Description of Work: We're in the middle of a master bathroom remodel. When the old tub deck was removed we discovered a significant amount of dry rot at the bottom and the sides of a glass block window. It was so bad that the glass block had to be removed and replaced with a new double pane window that overall was smaller than the glass block. The window is set into a pop-out and, from the inside, looks like a bay window. My bathroom contractor re-framed the space and installed the new window but I needed someone to stucco the exterior and I needed it done soon because we're in the middle of the monsoon season. Eddie (the father) came out the same day and gave me an estimate and made a suggestion about changing the angle on the pop-out so the water would run off. He sent a guy out two days later to sheath the area with stryfoam/wire and Eddie came out two days later to do the final stucco work.

I left a message requesting a quote - Eddie's son called me back within the hour. He scheduled an appointment at my choice of day & time (within days of my call), and Eddie was right on time. Eddie provided an estimate on the spot - verbal not written - but I was comfortable with that; he clearly knew exactly what he was doing. I'm sure they would provide a written estimate if the customer asked. He walked me through the repairs, making sure I understood that the stucco repairs would have to sit for a few days to dry before they could paint and also pointing out that because we have plants against the walls, the irrigation would erode the stucco over time (that this wasn't a permanent repair, eventually we'd have to do it again.) I appreciated him setting the appropriate expectation. The price was very reasonable, quite a bit less than I expected. He scheduled the work to happen within a week - again at the day & time of my choice. It was a two day job; the crew was on time both days and did fantastic work. Eddie did the stucco repairs himself and made the wall look brand new. Painting the wall was a huge effort because of all the mature plants we have right next to the wall, and they put in the effort & did a thorough job without damaging any plants. The final bill was exactly what he originally quoted me, and I was so happy with the results that I added a tip for the crew (not something I normally do). I wholeheartedly recommend Eddie & Sons!

I found this company on Angie's list and e-mailed a request for a quote. I received a phone call the same day and a time for an estimate was given. Eddie arrived when scheduled, looked at my issue and said he could take care of it. An appointment was scheduled for a few days later. Eddie arrived as scheduled even a little earlier. He finished the job in about 3 hours and it looked better than ever. This company is what you would hope all companies could be as responsible and efficient as they are.

My father-in and husband put up a covered patio. The full length of the house. We hired Eddie & Son to do the stucco work on the beams and house and match existing stucco pattern. They came out on Friday to to the Lath. They were there early in the morning got it done and it looked great. Came back on Tuesday early to the stucco. Then came back in afternoon to do the pattern. They were very nice and cleaned up any mess that they made. It looks amazing and matches the rest of the house perfectly. I would recommend and definitely use in the future. We got three estimates they were in the middle, but my father-in law was so impressed with their knowledge they he wanted to go with them. Well we got a discount for paying cash so in the end they were the cheapest, but work was superb.

Eddie arrived on time and was polite, friendly, and businesslike. He told me the palm tree in my neighbor's yard was the reason for the wall shifting. From his years of experience, he said it would be a waste of time to repair, or even to replace, my wall at this time because the palm tree would continue to grow and its roots would continue to move the wall. Once the palm tree is removed, I plan on asking Eddie & Son to repair or replace the wall, whatever needs to be done with it. I found Eddie a man of integrity and honesty, and I appreciate his years of experience that gave him insight into the issue with my wall. Integrity and experience are an unbeatable combination! I will tell everyone I can about him!

He did a great job, cleaned up when he left. Just a darling guy. I used the email on the website and Eddie's called me immediately, and set up an appointment for the next day after talking to his dad, Eddie. When I had a question it was responded to very quickly. The price was reasonable and dealing with both of them was a breeze.

Great communication (phone/email/in-person)and work. Job was completed ahead of schedule and they provided additional work (substantial) at no cost because "it will look better". Excellent experience. Told me to call them with any issues over the next month or so because it's hard to digest all of the work immediately. Said they'd come back out whenever I waned if I had any issues whatsoever. Will use them again.

Eddie did a great job on this project. The original stucco work on the BBQ and bench was not done properly, and as a result, the stucco was chipping, flaking, and falling apart after 3-4 years. I attempted to get the original contractors to repair this at their cost but was unsuccessful and took me almost an additional year of phone calls, meetings, etc. with them only to get a response of "sure we can fix it for about $400-500". They would not even admit that they did anything wrong and were at fault, even though all of the other stucco on my home and patio (that they were not involved with) was in perfect condition. I called Eddie, and he came out to my home to examine the project. He gave me a bid on the spot, detailed the work they would do, and provided an assurance that I would have no further problems with the stucco in this area when they were done. I accepted the bid on a handshake. We arranged a day/time when they would return to do the job. He said it would be best if he call me the following week to narrow down to s specific day and time. This was acceptable to me since I did not have any immediate hurry in completing the project and my schedule was flexible. He called the next week and we pinned down a specific date that week. His assistant arrived at the scheduled time and did a thorough job preparing the area with ground cloths, taping, and plastic to protect the BBQ and surrounding parts of my patio that were not part of the project. He then did a thorough job of scraping off the old loose stucco, preparing the surface with an adhesive primer, and then applying new stucco. He also repaired some other parts of my home where the stucco was damaged. He cleaned the area thoroughly and removed the taping and plastic and indicated to me that the stucco should dry for several days before they applied the new paint. He said Eddie would call me to arrange a day when they would return for this. The following week Eddie's assistant returned to paint the BBQ and bench. He prepped the area thoroughly and applied a primer and finish coats of the paint. Unfortunately, the paint he applied was a little lighter in color than the original color and rest of the house. I expressed my concern at this, and Francisco confirmed the difference, indicating that the paint sample he took for matching was from a lighter portion of the house that didn't quite represent the overall look. We discussed what could be done to correct this. He took a new paint sample that was closer to the needed color and said he would talk with Eddie who would call me to deal with this the next week (since this was a Friday). Eddie called the next day to ask if he could come back early next week to correct this. He came the following week, indicating that they would completely repaint the BBQ and bench so that it was the correct color. He apologized for the problem and said it would be completely corrected to my satisfaction. I felt somewhat bad since the work Francisco did was terrific, and the BBQ and bench looked like it was brand new with only the color being slightly off. But Eddie said don't worry that "he wanted to be sure that I was completely satisfied with the job and that it should match the rest of the house". Eddie did a first rate job of again preparing the area and repainting the BBQ and bench. It absolutely looked fabulous when he was done, a perfect match in color and beautiful stucco work. He thoroughly cleaned up after his work. He again apologized for the initial "miss" on the paint color and was glad that I was happy with the work and final outcome. His and Franciso's personable and professional manner and attention to detail and quality were highly appreciated. I will definitely use Eddie again for any stucco/painting work I may have in the future and can unequivocally recommend him in work of this nature.

Contacted the company to have them come out to give an estimate for stucco repairs. AC, the son, contacted me by text as he was in a class. We used text to set up an appointment. The father came out to look at the job. He was on time and very pleasant and professional. After looking everything over, he said his son would send me an estimate the following week, as the son was out of town. I never heard from them again. I might have called to ask why they did not contact me with an estimate, but by March 17 I was informed of some serious health issues, so I have put home improvements on hold.

I found Eddie and Son on Angie's List. His excellent rating prompted me to send a contact. He called me later the same day, arranged a date/time, and was extremely polite and very willing to help. We had a need to shift the appointment. Again he was extremely congenial and kept in touch via phone and text. He actually arrived a bit early for the appointment. Check out their website. It obvious to me Eddie and Son practice what they preach. He was a breath of fresh air!
Description of Work: Mr. Correa came to do what I assumed would just be an estimate visit. He looked at the stucco damage - 4 woodpecker holes and an area of crumbling at the pation roof/stucco wall juncture. He asked if he could just "... fix it now, $75 OK?" Of course it was, he did, and I'm extremely satisfied.

For years, we've had trouble with woodpeckers eating away at the decorative details of our house. I called Eddie and Son for an estimate to have the decorative parts removed where possible, and otherwise patched and repaired. Since they were out, we asked for an estimate on having our block wall stuccoed as well. To help readers compare price to work done, I'll tell you that our house is two-story, about 4,000 sq ft. and our back block wall is 12 feet high. Quite a lot of repair work and stucco, for sure. AC called me back within 2 days and made an appointment for the estimate. He was knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done, which included removing some decorative scroll-like details under the eves of the house and then patching the holes to be waterproof, more than just spreading on some material and painting over it which is what others have done in the past. All that old repair work done by someone else (not me, but it looked like it) and had to be redone as well. He gave me an estimate that was separated out for the woodpecker damage repairs, stucco of the block wall, and priced in a discount if we wanted to do both jobs at the same time. We decided to have all the work done at the same time. We got the job on the calendar which was a bit later in the month as they are very busy right now...good for them! AC also advised me on how to coordinate other trades that I need to have in, who should be first in, who is last, etc. When the job date got closer, AC was was on the phone communicating with me about when they would start. The rain put him a few days behind which ran into some travel plans that we had. No problem. Once the job was started, the crew would finish up the work even if I wasn't home. On my return, I could check the work and arrange payment. The crew arrived earlier than I expected and got right to work, up before the sun! Every one of them was pleasant to me as I went about my own work in the backyard. It was a pleasure to watch them, all working together and working hard. Later in the morning they had the radio going, and you won't believe this. They were all singing along together! This doesn't mean the work is better, but it's nice to see a crew that sounds like they are happy in their work and like each other. I'll bet Eddie and Son is a great company to work for and that's a company I am happy to hire. Once the work was started, they noticed that the estimate didn't include removal of some of the scroll pieces under the garage and that it might look uneven. We decided that it would be better to add the additional work. AC was more than fair in telling us that he would charge only for materials for this additional work. We were pleasantly surprised when we got the final bill. As I said, AC was more than fair. I was out of town when the job was completed. When I got home. the work was done and the backyard put all back together. I have no doubt that AC would have been responsive if I'd had questions or concerns but I didn't have any. The stucco work is absolutely beautiful. You can't even tell that repairs were done. It has to sit for a month before we can have it painted and the real test will be how it lasts, but in this first week after the work is completed, we are extremely happy with it. This is an awesome company that I was happy to hire. There are many companies that will do quality work at a fair price, but to work with people as nice as this, from AC who was my contact person to all the crew, is priceless. Fantastic job, Eddie and Son. Keep up the great work!

Dear Member, Thank you for providing your feedback we are not perfect and take these opportunities to learn and be better at serving our customers. We have a policy of returning an estimate to our customers within 48hrs. How ever it is to the discretion of me and my father depending on how big the job is. Your job was fairly small in relation. We gave a verbal to not waist your time nor ours. Once the work is accepted in order to protect our selves we follow with a formal estimate and contract to protect both parties. We are highly rated on Angies list because of our ability to execute this every time. You mentioned we where to high in the quote so there would be no service from a formal estimate. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to bid. We hope you allow us to try this again in your next project. Thanks! Eddie & Son
